Definitely a staple of the SLO bar scene. I lived in slo for a few years and this place is always a lot of fun to go to for a drink and some live music. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends but that's expected in a college town. They have a really cool outside area with an outside bar where you can get a table and enjoy the warm slo air.

As far as a bar is concerned the atmosphere is nice and the selection is good. They don't do food so eat first because you won't want to leave.

You will have a great time! If the crowd is too boisterous or you would like a more mellow bar take the trail that runs alongside this bar to other bars or lounges in the area. This was one of the first pubs I have been too since coming to California and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute! From the super nice bouncer to the coolest live band I’ve seen in a while. Everything was wonderful 😊 Such awesome atmosphere and the lighting! Perfect dancing conditions😝 There was self-serve ice cold water which was thoroughly appreciated since my friends and I had probably danced/jumped around for a few hours in there haha!

Lively bar in downtown San Luis Obispo, live bands nightly and great drinks. Mostly a young crowd, gets pretty busy on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. They serve several beers on tap or in bottles and cans, as well as almost any cocktails you want. Staff are very accommodating and friendly as well as quick to serve. There is seating at the bar as well as several tables and an outdoor patio.

Stopped in here to kill some time waiting for my wife one day and am glad I did. I am sure its different on a busy weekend night but I went on a Monday evening. It has very low key dive vibe. In a very good way. Had a good selection of beer and plenty of spirits as well. Service was good. Will come back.

My go to bar downtown San Luis Obispo. They have Pint Night on Tuesdays, good beer for a fair price. Seating in the back is limited, so if you plan on hanging out back there I suggest getting there before 10:30 pm. After 10:30 pm the outdoor area can fill up quickly. The staff is very friendly, every time I go in I am greeting with smiles and handshakes.

Ali and Nick are the best! Anything I order, they make with complete perfection! I usually order my mixed drinks from Nick; that guy is an expert at what he does! My “unusual shots” I order from Ali; she is a MASTER at perfecting them. Always ask for these two when you go in! Not only are they great at making their drinks; they are also very personable, very kind, and ask for claifiricafion on what you are ordering to make sure it’s perfect! Always ask for one of them!

This is the place I met my fiance, so you can say it holds a special place in my heart. I've also once met the whole jackass crew here. Needless to say, this place is quite popular. With that, the drink prices are ok, same with the service. However, another appeal to this place is that it may be haunted. This place may stay with you beyond your grave. Drinkers beware.

Friday night reggae is sweet. Bartenders are friendly and fast. Cool college crowd, but comfortable for everyone. They even have a back patio overlooking the creek.

Great place before someone really super slow and awesome and time till like really hang out. After that it gets crazy and if you do not have a bar seat and you don't know bar tender good luck getting a drink. Other than that we had a great time the music was great and our bartender was great and we would totally recommend it to anyone coming to see a Great British pub in SLO.

Went out curiosity, had music, loud generic rock. Watered down cocktails, stick with beer as bartenders didn't know much beyond basic mixes. Tables were sticky.

Back in the day this place was my favorite bar in SLO. it was small, only served beer, had a sweet patio, good rock and reggae bands, and a really cool, non fancy crowd. then they remodeled it. its a much different, much fancier place these days. I dont blame them. more people more money, but it definitely used to be better. The pint nights are still awesome though.

They’re a “pub,” so the idea behind stopping by was to treat myself to some draught Guinness. They don’t teach their bartenders how to serve evidently. The gal set the glass on the counter.. then opened the tap and let the beer pour at a 90 degree angle straight into the glass. I was in shock? I had to pay $7 for the flattest, worst Guinness or beer, honestly, of my life.

We waited in line for over an hour while it was empty inside. The bouncers openly let people cut in line with no disregard for the true fans. Sad! Not the 🐸 & 🍑 I used to know :(

I would gladly change it if it were open as it said it was on Google (hours say Noon-2am). Has Covid-19 changed these hours, or is it just a slow and soft opening with a variable window, lol. Nothing on the door or website about it.

This was my least favorite bar we visited of the night. We were on a road trip and one of our stops was San Luis Obispo. It was extremely packed we could hardly get by in some areas. People were rude. It smelled like armpits, butt and all body parts. It took forever to get drinks because the bartenders just seemed to ignore us. We got a drink and left.

There is no "English beers on tap" anymore, only Guinness. What kind of place calls themselves a pub and they don't serve British beers on tap? It's not a pub anymore, that pub sign outside should be taken down but also the beers they sell are all local and they charge more for local beers than imports, why? It's not imported 5000 miles away but yet the prices they're charging is ridiculous (beer here is outrageously expensive) and it's not British. When Frog & Peach first opened in 1994 it was almost all British beers on tap including pub food but today they completely thrashed the original owners vision of what they stood for, being British, they're not British because British means serving British products, British services, British tradition like pints are 20oz not 16oz, pouring beer to the rim not below the rim etc examples. Personally this place needs new owners to bring back something of it's past, more British beers on tab, British service, British signs, British props, also the original product night $1.00 a glass (that's long gone too) etc but no, they're not interested and thats too bad because they've lost a lot of loyal customers because these current owners are on a entirely different page than the loyal people including the original owners from 1994 and it's a darn shame🙁

Rudest bartender ever. She appeared to hate her job or something.Brought in a crowd to have a few drinks and she seemed like she didn’t want to deal with us. We left to the Bar across the street.

Apparently being an american citizen from Puerto Rico with a real photo ID saying that you are a citizen is not enough to get in. Remember to bring your PASSPORT or else you will not get in. Horrible service.

I’m really not sure where these people find this place to be fun, great service and everything else. All I’ve ever received is poor service, the staff are completely clueless and a person waits for hours on end for a drink. Place is disgusting. Will never go back there. Oh yes, please don’t go on Thursday nights at the farmers market, be sure you will receive really bad service.

Bartender clearly didn't know how to make mixed drinks...I first ordered a white russian...she had no cream, sent coworker to store to buy some....after waiting 10 minutes, I ordered a Vodka Gimlet....generally made with Rose's Lime juice--NOT this time I, watched her squeeze an entire lime into the glass and add vodka--it was DISGUSTING and I didn't drink it....total waste of $10.00!!

They still suck another year later. No honor. Six Months nobody has reached out to offer our money back. Cute idea, fill out a fun, colorful note for a gift certificate and they put it on the bulletin board behind the bar for a friend (in our case a SLO grad). Apparently also very low security, if your $50 gift "falls" your money is wasted and just fills the owners wallet. Yes, we've reached out and tried to work with the staff (shared exactly $50 cc bill line item) before going public, to no avail. ONLY PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET RIGHT AWAY. With the attitude we got I would advise against opening a tab.

I have no problem with taking responsibility of something that I’ve done wrong in a public space but don’t throw things at my face as a first line of action. We are all adults and we can use our words so everything gets resolved smoothly and we can continue our nights unbothered. Don’t go to this bar unless you want to be disrespected by the staff!
