I'm going to miss this place. I'm in Arcata for a wedding and this place is just down the street from where I'm staying. Very friendly staff and good coffee. They also have a couple sugar free syrup options which is always a plus for me.

This place is great. The coffee and the service is 1st class. They love my dog yogi and are always quick with a doggie treat or two to satisfy his slobbering face. The coffee break cafe has been part of the little Sunnybrea community for more than 15 years and we all love it. It has quality coffee drinks, smoothies, bagels a outside seating area and free wi-fi. Fuel up on high octane expresso drinks or take a break and enjoy a book from the free library peacefully.

I come here fairly often (almost every Saturday) while I'm doing laundry. Every time the mimosa is perfect (please keep the orange juice ice cubes!!) And the egg sandwich is filling. Every staff member is always so friendly. Love this place.

Coffee Break have the nicest employees and customers! Their coffee and coffee drinks come in "normal" flavors and some very unusual concoctions and they are all good. It's nice and light and they have a different artist each month display art on the walls. Very cool.

There are unique things on the menu, including mimosas and special seasonal drinks. I like everything I have ordered from their specials board. They do great versions of the basics too, which is important to me. I often just get a cup of coffee and a really good chocolate chip cookie. The coffee is the right temperature and brewed to be rich and flavorful. Service is always fast and the shop is nice and clean.

We had an AirBnB around the corner for visiting the Red Woods and stopped by almost every morning. Both the coffee and the pastries are the best around. They even offer coffee ice cubes so that your drink doesn't become watered down! Don't miss out on their chocolate chip cookies either.

Pour over coffee carafe beverage service was good. The expressed decaf was flavorless. The blueberry muffin was fresh and not too sweet.

In middle school, I would always get a bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese for 4 bucks in the morning and sometimes a hot chocalate. Way cheaper than Los bagels and probably better too!

Really nice little shop, bright and inviting and staff is always friendly and on it. I like that it isnt usually packed here and the food selection is not bad. Just a chill place to relax or meet friends without feeling pressured to give up your seat for a ton of peopme waiting.

Adorable coffee shop with a drive through. The breakfast sandwich was good but not great. My mocha was delicious. It was difficult for the employee to keep up with the drive through and the in person orders, as they were working alone. They were still super nice and fixed my order when it came out wrong.

The barista was polite, and service was quick, but they forgot part of our order.

Great wifi, okay coffee. If you sit at their outside tables, you have to stand in line in the drive thru. Seriously?

I am generally pleased with the service from here.... however the past few times I have been in. I noticed I kept getting charged differently for the same exact drink?!?!? Today I was charged the most yet. Soon as I made mention of this, the she tells me that they might not have been charging me for the ice???? Really??? So now they charge for 6oz of ice?!?!! Then she continued on to say they recently raised their prices as well.... but then never even gave me my option for the rewards program. So to say I’m displeased is putting it lightly.....

Hello everyone. Coffee Break is usually a good spot to go but the last week I have been getting Mexican hot chocolates from here and they have been a little bland and the cups I get have been 3/4 or even only half full cups not including the whipped cream.

I get there at 2.41 pm yesterday. Order a Coffee, what was a good Coffee and i order a Sandwich, bad luck, no more Sandwich, we close at 3pm. 19 min. for a Sandwich? No comments 😞

Coffe cake was straight up from the fridge and old. Cold and hard. For the price, it wasn't what I was expecting. The coffee was good, and the service too:)

We ordered coffees and food, one drink was all ice. Our breakfast burritos were not good to say the least. They oddly tasted like they were boiled the texture was odd and no flavor in them. Seating area outside was nice.

They made us the wrong drinks which made my stomach sick & kept me up all night. I can't have caffeine.

Going there everyday for almost 8 days today the price went up from $5 for a 16 oz latte to 525 and I asked why I was given a very short rude answer that said I don't know it's not my restaurant not my coffee shop I said well it's just a question and it makes sense if I've been coming here every day and again I was told not my coffee shop ma'am then I asked to speak to the manager who said they were in the car in front of me who decided to flip me off and call me a b**** not exactly a friendly inviting local spot that I thought.

There was a line of cars while nothing came in or out for a while. When she finally came out she was less than enthused to be taking an order. I ordered a matcha and it was the grainiest matcha I’ve ever had. I lifted the lid to see a thick top of powder. If your craving matcha pass on this.
