I got mofongo chicharron ($15) and coffee with milk ($1.50). The mofongo was so tasty, and the sauce on the side allowed me to adjust the saltiness. Tip: do not pour all of the sauce in- too salty. I couldn’t finish the food, because it was so much. The coffee was delicious for the price point, and the cashier was nice. The small restaurant feels cozy. I would love to come back if I’m in the area. Other details: bathroom is small and sufficient. The restaurant is in front of the 1 train. Most customers speak Spanish. Bachata music plays on TV. Tan, beach-themed wall. There’s a counter for those who aren’t eating.
Tasty and affordable tiny food spot, tucked away near 215th street station. Went for my lunch, small plate portion was more than enough and food was flavorful. This place is worth trying.

This is the spot to get some delicious Spanish food. The atmosphere is great, and the customer service is top notch. I would recommend this place to a friend, or anyone else for that matter.
Really good food, cheap and big portions. Kind of cafeteria-style serving from a few available dishes. Small inside, only 4 tables and 6 counter seats.
(Catering order) We had the Thanksgiving arroz con gandules, perniles & pasteles as I hosted my family. It tasted and felt like home. Everyone was raving about the food and we have high standards as born and raised Puerto Ricans. Food was delivered right on time, perfectly packaged and still warm.
Went to here to get tres golpes for breakfast. Hands down one best mangu I had in a while. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Also had a morir sonando it tasted great and well balanced. Definitely gotta check out there lunch items
The food and service is great. There is a staff member in the evening known as "flaca" the absolute best. Their rotisserie chicken I cannot describe how delicious it is, I ordered two at the time because it was that good.
This is the best chicken ever. Me and my staff gobbled up the entire plate in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend el pollo guisado. Delivery person was great and so was Yissel. Thank for a great lunch.
Food was amazing! Staff was helpful, very professional, and kind. I have to say that the price was great. I had the pollo al horno and it was amazing. Be sure to come here!:) and thank you to El Nuevo Sabor!
The chicharron de pollo sin hueso empanizado is amazing. It doesnt taste like your cliche common dominican restaurant seasoning. This taste more home made. It taste like your abuela in the campo made it where every bite you take is full of flavor. Im glad i ordered it because im always skeptical when it comes to this dish, easy to make but very easy to mess up. The chicken was tender and juicy, i highly recommend you dont think twice about ordering this you cant go wrong and my family of four ate. Best 18 dollars ive spent this week.
The mofongo de chicharron and morro was very tastey. The camarones Al ajillo needed work, and was very little shrimp for the cost. The mofongo was so tastey and at such a good price that it made up for it though.

I came here for lunch and had the roast chicken and roast pork here and they were delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection and the beans added flavor. I'd definitely come here again to keep trying the rest of the menu.
Nice little quint eatery. Food is pretty decent and priced. Pretty clean too

This place use to be much better alot better. I don't go that often anymore. I just feel the quality of the food is not the same I think they changed there chef. There was a time when they made the best stewed chicken I have ever ate not now.

Too much rice too little meat. Best thing I got was the country club soda. Not to mention I found a piece of aluminum in my beans. Dont let this discourage you to try this place yourself though.

When it first opened it was great. It now. Enter at your own risk. Must be a different cook cause the food is almost tasteless!! Prices are much hire and the new management is not people ftiendly.
My coworker found a screw inside the rice and when she call, they didn't believe her. This happened in front of 4 witnesses. We were eating in the patio of New York Presbyterian the Allen Hospital were all the staff sit on their lunch break. Take it from there. What do you think would happen if you swallow the screw? She wouldn't be here to talk about it.
I went to this restaurant and got very bad service. When I walked in immediately the waitress asked in a very nasty way if she can help me. Then I proceeded to ask her for the breakfast menu and she seemed like she didn't want to serve me. I asked for salami with toasted bread and cheese. Something really simple. But she seemed like she didn't want to serve me. Maybe because I was a black man and there was a language barrier? Who knows. Then as I was paying for my food she had a problem working the debit machine and made it clear there was a $7.00 minimum charge for my card to be used. Not to mention I was referred to as a Moreno and she caught an attitude when I asked what the problem was with the transaction. I would never go to this restaurant again and I encourage any African American to NOT spend any money with people like this. This is an example of the racism and discrimination that exists within the Hispanic community when they are business owners who don't want to serve people of color.
well overpriced... The person serving the food was very rude, she practically just threw my receipt on the counter, sucked her teeth when I asked for garlic and hotsauce... As I was leaving she referenced me as "moreno" to another customer that spoke spanish... this was my second time coming here and it will definitely be my last...
