Avis sur Thai Villa Broadway
You really need to have a reservation before coning here unless you show up 15min before they open. They are popular, and for good reason! Their service is very efficient and friendly. They can cater to various allergies. Their food is always so dang good! This might be the best Thai food in the city! No joke.
I can confidently say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything felt special. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful — elegant, warm, and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a date night or a memorable dinner with friends. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with authentic, well-balanced flavors. You can really tell the kitchen puts care and attention into every plate. Our server, James, was incredibly attentive — friendly, professional, and always checking in at just the right moments. A big thank you to Riz as well for recommending so many delicious dishes. We tried several items and loved them all, but our favorite was definitely the duck chuchee — perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce. The Royal Pad Thai is also a must-try dish. We will definitely be coming back again soon. And thank you again, Riz, for the amazing drink recommendation — it was fantastic, and I absolutely love the name: “Kiss All the Time” :)
Had a great experience at Thai Villa on my second visit! I noticed that some of the menu options have changed, but everything we ordered was delicious. The duck curry, Royal Pad Thai, and chicken spring rolls were especially flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant was super busy and packed on a Sunday, which really shows how popular it is. Had a great time with my boyfriend today. The food is awesome. Highly recommended for couples for a date night.
Beautiful inside and nice open space. Got convinced to order duck and the royal pad thai. Im a big fan of chicken pad thai anywhere and they said it would be similar so I was convinced to order the royal pad thai. Which looked nice and is really just more jumbo shrimp-esque but tasted sweeter with less than the typical pad thai smell. The spring rolls were interesting it was just open shell with stuffing. They also have a new menu options. Good date spot for our 6 month and we got on waitlist as we were driving from american dream mall. It was packed!! Definitely reserve in advance, we got off waitlist as we were driving there. Got lucky!
The papaya salad sauce didn't hit right. But the addition of the pork rinds was excellent. I was blown away by the Crispy duck dish it was sooooo good. This place is really popular and very packed and loud. So make your reservations early or prepare for a long wait (45+ minutes). For reference we went on a Wednesday night after 9pm and still had to wait pretty long.
Gosh, as a Thai person, this place reminds me of home. Since you first step in to the cozy but upscale place, the host (Keng) will delightfully greet you with a big smile. We sat at the bar because it was a busy sat night, and the bartenders (Tor and Kuka) are no less wonderful. The drinks were DELICIOUS. The food was phenomenal!!! Ordered fried Branzino with rice and thai sauce, corn and shrimp salad, squid noodles, and duck curry. We left with no crumbs 😊
had such a fun and memorable experience at Thai Villa! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was lively and beautiful — perfect for a fun dinner night in the city. A special shoutout to our server Gam U, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made the whole evening even more enjoyable. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and kept the energy upbeat throughout the night. We ordered the “Kiss All the Time” drink, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced and refreshing. Highly recommend trying it! The food was equally impressive — everything was flavorful, well-presented, and packed with authentic Thai taste. And we can’t forget the desserts — they were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, amazing food, great drinks, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back again! 🌟
Such amazing food, atmosphere, and staff! Had a delicious meal with lots of diverse dishes. The curry puffs, meat dumplings, Pad See Ew, Tom Yum Koong, and Thai Iced Teas. Our server, Pear, was the best ever!! She really made our experience 10 times better. She gave us recommendations, checked in constantly, and was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come here again.
Thai Villa is absolutely gorgeous inside - featuring 3 floors for dining each party has a different experience. We sat on the second floor which was small and intimate with a great view overlooking the first floor. The food was delicious. I got the garlic chicken and it was perfectly portioned and filled with flavor. My friend got the pad Thai and said it was good also. The food came out fast - I’m talking under 10 minutes from ordering. They have a 90 minute table limit and they remind you of this when you are seated. Also, if you book a reservation you have to give your credit card number and you will be charge if you are a no show. Didn’t love that because things happen but we made it and everything was great. I would definitely eat here again!
Easily one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Incredible food, innovative drinks, excellent service, and truly professional staff — especially impressive for the price in Manhattan. Huge kudos to the owner, manager, and staff for such an outstanding experience.
This is the kind of restaurant where the quality of food matches up with its impressive ambiance and architecture. While the menu offered almost an overwhelming variety of dishes, everything we ordered was done perfectly! I can see why there were so many guests willing to wait for a table at the hour that we arrived—highly recommend reserving a table in advance. For such a busy restaurant, the food arrived quickly and the wait staff was able to accommodate comfortably. I have to say the many items were somewhat pricy, but understandable considering the restaurants location. Overall, I would come again for a nice occasion—great for a celebration dinner, first date, or simply a night out. If you must ask, I DID save and star this spot!
This place gets very busy so I recommend reservations. I’ve been very fortunate to have been to some great Thai restaurants so I’m a little spoiled, but this place was quite good, but I wouldn’t call it the best. The service and food were very prompt and the place is very thoughtfully decorated. We really loved the potstickers, my pad Thai was tasty, although my shrimp was a little overcooked, and my wife’s meal was quite spicy, even at a level one. We would definitely go back for dinner here again, which ultimately is the highest praise you can pay a restaurant!
We arrived around 9:30 PM and were told there was a one-hour wait for indoor seating, but luckily we got an outdoor table right away. We started with a beer and a cocktail—both were spot on. For appetizers, we had the coconut calamari and the papaya salad, both delicious. Our mains included the Massaman chicken and another dish I unfortunately don’t recall the name of, but they were both fantastic. We finished with the mango sticky rice—so good! Tory, our server, was lovely and very attentive. I’d definitely come back, especially with a reservation to enjoy the beautiful interior.
I accidentally ate here twice last time I was in New York (friend made a reservation I didn’t check and another friend invited me the night before on a whim). I can see why it’s so well-known in the area! The food is absolutely phenomenal and service is fantastic, it’s a beautiful place as well. Very busy so be sure to check reservations!
Was on a New York layover and stumbled upon Thai Villa online & WOW am I glad I did! I’m already trying to make a resy at the end of the month when I’m back 🤭 My friend and I ordered the ugly duckling and the little rubber duck floating in our drink was such a fun touch! I had the chicken pad thai and it was amazing! Not to mention the place was stunning! See you soon 🫶🏼 Update: went back and brought more friends! It was just as good as the first time!
My friend and I had a great lunch at Thai Villa. The ambiance was superb, the food was delicious, and our waitress Pear was not just attentive but efficient. She also made the perfect recommendations. The value for the lunch special is amazing, I would definitely recommend Thai villa not only for lunch but also for a cute date night.
Tell me you’re in Thailand without telling me you’re in Thailand. It’s not that much of an exaggeration. It’s definitely more like eating at the nicer hotel resorts in Bangkok than beachside in Phuket but the large variety with accessible flavors and textures served in a beautiful setting with solid drinks and very NY appropriate desserts makes this a fun place to have a party or fun evening out and have the benefit of having a great meal. I was half disappointed and half relieved that the pineapple fried rice was not served in a carved out half of a pineapple. The fried foods did not taste greasy and the spicy dishes were spicy without causing discomfort. We enjoyed the brass look chandeliers and extensive wood carvings but mostly we enjoyed the food.
Absolutely delicious!!! My friend and I went there today. We were initially seated at the bar, which we thought might be a bit awkward, but instead, we ended up having a great time! The service was excellent! They provided great service and attention with every dish, which is something I really appreciated! ❗️If you plan to come here to eat, you absolutely *must* make a reservation! It gets especially crowded during holidays.❗️ MOR KHANG TARO🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This ice cream is perfect for dessert after a meal; it has a coconut flavor with a sweet aftertaste. It's sweet but not cloying, and the sticky rice is warm and filled with taro paste, which was a pleasant surprise. BASIL FRIED RICE🌟🌟🌟🌟 The taste is initially salty, then sweet, with a sweet and spicy flavor. It then feels hot and spicy in the mouth. The unique aroma of holy basil mixes with the meat and chili peppers, creating a rich and slightly spicy flavor that is very appetizing. KEA MAO🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💗 I absolutely love it! It's spicy like Thai basil chicken, but the aftertaste isn't sweet, it's a lingering spicy sensation! Super delicious! 😋 (The meat is optional, which is very convenient.) Hopefully, this review will be helpful to you.☺️🫶🏻
Thai Villa is hands down one of the **best Thai restaurants** I’ve tried so far 🇹🇭✨ After seeing so many Google reviews, my friends and I finally visited—and it did **not disappoint**. The ambience was beautiful, we were warmly greeted, and the service was absolutely top-notch. We started with **veg spring rolls** and **veg dumplings**, then moved on to **Thai basil fried rice, red curry, and Pad Thai**—every dish was delicious and the portions were generous. To end on a perfect note, we tried **Thai iced tea** and **jasmine tea**—so refreshing, and the Thai iced tea had the *perfect* sweetness 🧋💛 Overall, an amazing experience! Definitely making it into my **top 10 restaurants to visit in the USA** 🇺🇸🍽️ Highly recommend!
Amazing Food and Flavors! Thai Villa never disappoints! Their Pad Krapraw with chicken (medium spicy) is bursting with flavor — the perfect balance of heat and freshness. The Basil Fried Rice is delicious and full of aromatic herbs, and the Panang Curry is creamy, rich, and absolutely incredible. Everything tastes authentic and freshly made. I also ordered the agave with dragon tattoo drink(coco), it was really tasty. There was only 2 of us so we had a really small table, and we had a lot of food which made it difficult to fit all all all the food on thetable, no room to move anything around. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. One of the best Thai restaurants around NYC, I highly recommend!
NYC has such amazing Thai food, and Thai Villa has certainly earned its top spot on my list. Both the cocktails and food were 10/10. The menu is very extensive, but everything we tried was delicious. The Spicy Chicken wings were drenched in sauce and spicy/savory in just the right amount, paired perfectly with the cucumber! The cocktails were great, light and refreshing. We were truly blown away by the Duck Chu Chee, the duck was crispy flavorful curry and asparagus. Definitely snag a reservation if you can, we were able to get seated outside but it was a tad chilly
From out of town, and knew I needed to visit my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. Our server, Pear, was very polite and patient as we took our time ordering. The food came out very quick! In and out in under 45min even though we ordered drinks, appetizer and entrees. Will be back anytime we’re in town. Pictured: Kaprow Gai sub, Smokey old fashioned, veggie spring rolls
Stopped by here before heading to the bar with friends and it was such a good choice! I got the steamed dumplings and the mango salad with soft shell crab, both were delicious. Walked in and sat outside, cozy and relaxing vibe. Service was on point too, my water glass was never empty. Big thanks to Pup for taking such good care of me!
A big shoutout to the owner and the entire team behind this incredibly successful restaurant. From the vibrant atmosphere to the thoughtfully crafted food and drinks — we absolutely loved it. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender, who not only shared insights about the place but also guided us to some of the best dishes on the menu. What really stood out to me was the flavor profile: a perfectly balanced mix of sweet, sour, spicy, and salty — something many Thai restaurants tend to overdo. Here, it's done just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we're in NYC.
Thai Villa is hands down the best Thai spot in NYC! The food quality, flavor, and consistency are unparalleled. It’s a must-visit, but make sure to book a reservation because this place is always packed. Every time I dine here, it’s such a comforting and satisfying experience. Truly a gem!
Great food, but a bit of a rushed vibe. The rice rolls, the scallops and crispy duck are highlights, though the curry is on the milder side. The space is nicely decorated but the tables were very closed to one another. I wasn’t a fan of the strict 1.5-hour time limit; it made me too uncomfortable to even order dessert. Good flavors overall.
We had mixed feelings about our recent visit. The food was genuinely good, and the atmosphere was nice, but the service left us uncomfortable. While waiting to be served, our party was sharing a piece of candy from a personal bag. Nothing disruptive or excessive. A waiter came over and gave us a warning about a $15 outside food fee, which felt unnecessarily strict and out of proportion, especially considering we were just waiting for the server to come to our table and we asked for two more minutes to decide. It wasn’t just the rule itself, but the way it was handled that left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. It took away from what could’ve been a great experience. I understand the need for policies, but I hope the staff can approach these situations with more discretion and empathy moving forward.
