Avis sur Vanilla Gorilla Cafe Broadway
Great! Small cafe just a short walk from the New Yorker that has vibrant friendly workers, a great clean seating area, and lots of choices of coffee and foods. I got the Breakfast Pastrino as it comes and it was delicious. The sauce has a nice kick to it and the cheese is nice and stretchy. It was out very quickly and HOT! Drip coffee was also very good. Service was great. Everyone was very nice and took great care of me. Atmosphere was extremely comfortable. The building is in a great spot just to watch life in the city go about. Didn't feel like I was in a rush to leave at all. Overall A. Will be back!
Great café with excellent breakfast sandwiches and really good coffee. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I tried both the baguette and the Pastrino, and the Pastrino was my favorite. It’s wrapped in a thick, fluffy flatbread like a tortilla, which makes it unique and very filling. I haven’t tried the lunch options yet, but after this experience, I definitely want to. Vanilla Gorilla Coffee is a spot I’ll be coming back to
Wow! Sandwiches were so good and great coffee. I still think about the Nutella cookie we got there..
Excellent service, especially when I made a fool of myself by spilling half an iced chai latte trying to put the lid back on. They got me a new one and we're super respectful. It was on the spicier side (which I like). The pastrino was amazing and so was the chocolate chip banana muffin. 10/10 would recommend.
Finally found a place in New York that serves truly fantastic coffee! Their lattes are spot on, and the kids absolutely loved the Chilla drinks. We also tried the breakfast Pastrinos and they were a massive hit, fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. Great food, great coffee, great vibe. We’ll definitely be back!
First time in New York, walking down the street, the name got me, it’s pretty cute! I wanted coffee and they had so many options! They were so organized inside, everything came out the perfect temperature and DELICIOUS! I also got a funfetti muffin, because it looked Happy to be honest and it was yummy, gave a corn muffin vibe but a pinch sweeter! Go check em out!
Walking in it was a warm welcoming atmosphere. You had a lovely gentleman at the counter greeting you in song 🎵 such a fantastic attitude you could just tell he wanted to be there. My boyfriend and I ordered the breakfast pastrino and please let me tell you DO NOT SKIP OUT ON THIS! Such a flaky, buttery, savory, slightly sweet wrap 😋 I got the pumpkin spice latte, it wasn't like any other pumpkin spice I've tried not too sweet definitely for coffee lovers! My boyfriend got the Caramel Gorilla Chilla and it was so good I was sipping off his 🤭 Such amazing service, nice welcoming calm atmosphere definitely wish we could come back but we live in NH 🥲
This place easily reminds you how incredible coffee can be... they use a strada machine and their beans are fantastic. Zero acidity, zero bitterness, just pure rich, decadent coffee. This is my new top 3 in NYC. The employees were always smiling and happy to help every single day I went. I wish we had one of these in Palm Desert or at least somewhere in SoCal.
Il being here and i have the best experience in new york. The service was great from lorna and andrea. They give me a kindly welcoming . And make (Honestly) THE BEST COFFE in new york. I order to eat for breakfast a mozarella capressa sandwich and my wife the pastrino salmon and both was a great taste. The next day i came back for the coffe. Also with diferents baristas. They make a wonderfull coffe anyway. I talk with victor a litle bit and also i drink another coffe. Definitly if you came to new york. Come to this placesand you see what i talking about
We stopped by Vanilla Gorilla and were blown away by their drinks and unique Pastrino – a genius flat croissant wrap. Vanilla Latte – Smooth and lightly sweet with a super special foamy milk top. A must-try if you love a classic with a twist. Gorilla Mocha Chilla – The ultimate treat for those with a sweet tooth. Creamy, chocolatey, and topped with whipped cream – basically dessert in a cup. Pastrino (Flat Croissant Wrap) – Buttery, flaky, yet satisfyingly chewy. We tried: Chicken Club Pastrino – Grilled chicken, crispy bacon, melted mozzarella, fresh veggies, and spicy aioli. A wholesome, flavorful meal. Reuben Pastrino – Tender pastrami, sauerkraut, melted cheese, and Thousand Island sauce – a sweet-savory dream. Fun fact: They have their own theme song and tons of power outlets, perfect for studying or chilling with friends.
vanilla gorilla cafe is a cafe that has a few locations in midtown! I visited the one on 44th street. This is a great space to get your work done while eating some delicious pastries, sandwiches and coffees! What I ordered: 🍞Smoked Salmon Sandwich: I love smoked salmon so much and this was some good quality smoked salmon. There was also cucumber and cream cheese in the sandwich. I'm very glad that there there wasn't too much cream cheese. The bread was well toasted, and overall I loved this sandwich. 🥐Croissant: It was so fluffy! This croissant had a hint of sweetness and was perfect! ☕️Gorilla Caramel Chilla: YUMMY! I don't usually drink coffee so I opted for a frappacino. It wasn't too sweet which is great. I feel like frappucinos are sometimes too sweet but this one was the right amount.
Vanilla Gorilla Cafe is my new go-to coffee spot in Manhattan! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with plenty of comfy seating and free Wi-Fi—perfect for a quick coffee break or to work remotely from. We had the Gorilla Caramel Chilla and Gorilla Mocha Chilla, they were sweet and delicious! The Chillas are the perfect blend of refreshing frosted coffee with just the right amount of sweetness, topped off with whipped cream. For food, we had the Chicken Mozzarella Pastrino, which was simply amazing. The grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, homemade pesto, and tomato all wrapped in a buttery croissant made for a satisfying and flavorful meal. It’s a unique twist on a classic sandwich that’s perfect any time of day. And of course, I had to try their house made Funfetti Muffin. It was light, fluffy, and packed with colorful sprinkles. Great coffee, delicious food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for a place in Manhattan to grab a amazing coffee and a bite you need to check this place out!! Absolutely amazing staff. My wife, daughter and I had the opportunity to visit here today. We found it by chance as we were exploring the area. They didn’t disappoint. The staff was engaged enthusiastic and so helpful! Not to mention our coffee and muffins were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this location!!!!
I accidentally stumbled upon the Vanilla Gorilla Cafe while passing by, and I’m so glad I did! The name is unusual, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a great find. They bake all their pastries from scratch, and the Banana Walnut Bread and Zucchini Bread were amazing. The ingredients list was simple—no nasty ingredients. Both pastries were moist, not overly sweet, and felt like real, wholesome food. I’ll definitely be back to try more!
Visited at 8:45 am on a Friday morning. It was extremely busy with quite a long line. There was plenty of seating, but nearly all were occupied. The atmosphere didn't feel right, not very hip, not cozy. But spacious. I ordered a hot latte with extra shot, and house drip coffee. The latte was very weak, disappointing. Even as a medium it was mostly milk. The drip coffee was fresh, but mediocre tasting. They offer a huge selection of sandwiches, pastries, and various beverages including hot and iced varieties of coffee. The service was extremely fast and friendly considering how busy it was. There were bums inside walking around hassling people for money. I'll probably not come back.
Was looking for breakfast while at work and stumbled across here. I ordered a Small Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk and a Butter Croissant via Uber Eats. The total on Uber Eats was $17.93. When it arrived, the bag came neatly packaged with their logo on the front. There was no spillage inside (which I appreciate). The coffee itself wasn’t my favorite. There wasn’t enough of the vanilla flavoring and it wasn’t as potent as I wanted it to be. Now the croissant, was just as described, buttery, not too flakey, and not hard at all. The portion wasn’t disappointing as well. I finished it very quickly and I could honestly say I would’ve had another one! Overall, I feel like I personally won’t order coffee here again, but I would look at their baked goods.
Sadly understaffed and the coffee here is mediocre at best. My cafe latte was tepid and tasteless. They had porcelain cups but I still got mine in a paper cup. Service was slow and slap dashed. It was a waste of money and a waste of coffee and my time. I just pitched it. The place was a tad dirty.
Came here to get a coffee given the high reviews I saw. Ordered a large Iced Latte which came out to an astounding $9.42. After ordering and the cashier/barista going off to make the coffee another person comes to check the screen. The previous worker turns asks him “Didn’t Tip?” He replied “Yes” and they shared an annoyed glance. Her demeanor visibly changed and the interaction turned sour from there. Aside the fact that it doesn’t make sense to tip BEFORE you receive something, talking like this about a customer in a language you don’t think they understand is poor behavior. Will not return, there are an incredible array of coffeeshops such that you don’t have to deal with this type of behavior
