Great Pizza

Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had. I used to go to this place during my lunch during HS, the slices are cheap, amazing quality and taste, and the staff/owner treats you like family. Super cute interior too, this place is a must visit if you're craving a slice.

Visiting from Canada. Wanted NYC style pizza. This was is. 10/10.

We had randomly past the restaurant about 2 weeks ago and decided to give it a try. What a find! The owners Sam and Lisa could not have been nicer and there daughter was absolutely charming. The veggie pizza was great, thin dough made the toppings stand out. The eggplant appetizer was delicious. We ate in and the next week we ordered for delivery. Calzone was v large and v good. Woukd definitely recommend.

I'm not exaggerating --- the Sicilian at Cozie is every bit as good as Spumoni Garden. There's plenty of fresh sauce on it--but the crust remains thick/chewy, with the bottom, crisp and caramelized. This is VERY different than the old pizza place in terms of quality. House-made dough is fresh--high quality cheese and pepperoni. The plain pie is super thin but holds up--crust has a buttery taste. I can't believe WT/Kensington finally has a good pizza place.

Cozie’s truly has THE BEST pizza in the neighborhood and neighboring neighborhoods (including Windsor Terrace, Flatbush, and Kensington)! Amazing pizza and chill staff. Get their vodka bacon slice!!

Real NYC pizza. Been coming here for years — before the main pizza maker Max took it over, used better ingredients (old owners didn’t care, just wanted to make a buck), and renamed it Cozie’s. Kids favorite. Great special pies for adults too.

If I lived right here I would go often. Then I tried the margherita and told the owner wow this is great. 10/10 slice. I didn’t even know he was the owner initially, and we started talking. His name is Max and he’s super chill. We started trading pizza restaurant (haha) and sandwich shop favorites. It’s funny cause the spot I recommended he drives past every day but they’re always closed in the morning. The place has been in business for 3 years and he used to work at the same location prior to owning it. Great success story. He blessed with me a vodka slice and that was delicious too. He also makes a vodka slice with bacon that just came out of the oven; will try that next and the Sicilian which looked amazing. Looks like they make about 8-10 different types of pizza plus pasta and other items. Come and support this business!

With less than 24 hours notice due to our original plans being cancelled, Max and the amazing staff at Cozies hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! They went above and beyond to secure a private area for us, set up kids tables and even provided birthday crowns. The kids had a blast making and eating their pizza creations and all of the adults enjoyed delicious salads and pies, thankfully not made by the kids. We’re so grateful to Max and crew for saving the day and helping us make such special memories. Everyone left saying it was a huge hit for a 5th bday!

I tried the calamari, garlic knots, butternut squash salad and a plain slice all of which were amazing. The staff and owners are so sweet I even had the chance to chat with one of them! This is a place I’ll visit over and over the pizza is one of the best in NY! The word “cozy” in the name describes it all for your lovely local pizza shop! They even had a cool birthday wheel 😎

Really good local pizza, great people, and great vegan options! The place is under new ownership (Max and Lisa are very passionate) and I love the direction they are going! All the usual pizzeria classics done right, but they are also working with a very experienced local vegetarian chef who has some really tasty salads, a sandwich, and soups! The butternut squash salad with roasted grapes and pistachio fennel crumble was a standout! Very unique combining the classics along with some updated ideas! I will definitely frequent this spot!

The food is excellent, far superior to previous owners. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Very sweet and attentive to my young grandson's. The salads are always fresh and delicious. So glad to have an old fashioned, delicious pizzeria back in the neighborhood.

We ordered 7 pies (all different) and each one was better than the last! It's definitely our new go to for pizza on ice skating day and every other day!

The dough tasted really weird, and there was an insane amount of uncooked dried oregano. And there was WAYY too much crust compared to the rest of the pizza which made it worse. The garlic knots had almost no flavor, and the antipasto salad was inanely weak.

Owner/Employee thinks he's from an Episode of Sopranos. I recently visited Cozie's and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While I believe in giving constructive feedback, I hope the owners and staff take this review as an opportunity for improvement. The pizza I ordered was quite underwhelming. The crust lacked the desired crispness, and the toppings seemed haphazardly placed. I couldn't help but feel that the overall quality has declined since my previous visits. The service, too, was subpar. The Owner/Employee didn't seem particularly attentive or friendly and was arguing with an individual outside hurling racial slurs.

Placed an online order and was given an estimate of 15 minutes showed up a little over 15 minutes later and was told it would be 15 more minutes. After 20 minutes I asked what the status was. Staff was extremely rude when I asked if the food would be ready soon or if I should just cancel the order and go somewhere else. Ended up waiting about 40 min's for mid tier pizza and a flaccid chicken Parm "hero" that appears to be on undercooked pizza dough. There are better spots in the neighborhood. It's really not that difficult to adjust the time estimate on your ordering platform if you're too busy. I wouldn't have placed the order in the first place if I knew it would take that long. Tldr: mid pizza and terrible hero. There are better spots in the neighborhood
