Avis sur Cuppa Hive Espresso Bar Brooklyn
Great coffee and a really nice cozy spot. The coffee was rich, fresh, and perfectly made. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a good cup of coffee. ☕️
LOVE this place. My weekly Friday treat before work - my time to relax and read for a while. Cinnamon rolls are the best. The baristas make great lattes (and are super friendly -SHOUT OUT to Nick and Alexy!!). So glad to be a regular here 😁
We walk here every weekend to enjoy a delicious coffee in our neighborhood, Park Slope. Then, go for a nice walk as we sip and enjoy the delightful flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming also if you are looking for a place to sit and enjoy.
Great coffee spot, roomy, seating indoor & outdoor, delicious pastries & lattes.
Cuppa Hive is so cozy and inviting! The baristas are always kind and make excellent coffee. This is the type of cafe where the baristas remember you and your order. Always makes me happy to walk in here. Their macarons and savory pastries are very tasty too. They have a lot of seating that fills up fast. Always people chatting, laughing, reading, and working. Really nice spot with a surprising array of options to eat and drink.
First time stopping by a few days ago and honestly, as someone who used to work in coffee, the service was incredible. The barista Nick was kind, welcoming and very accommodating to what I wanted to order. Definitely will be making this spot one of my regular stops when in the neighborhood!!
Omg the coffee here is amazing and SO FRESH!!! And the people who work here are so nice! We tried it for the first time yesterday and came back today. The girl at the counter recognized my husband from the afternoon before and gave us a punch card that included the two coffees we purchased the day before. The place gets busy so she probably sees a thousand people a day but she remembered him. That's the nicest thing ever. Their bakery items are so fresh and delicious too. The espresso tastes like rich mahogany. Prices perfectly reasonable. This is our new place for sure 🩷
Incredible coffee shop with delicious coffee and pastries, ample space for chatting, reading, or working, and the most pleasant staff you will find. Seriously, the people here are unbelievable kind and courteous. Free wifi and a large communal table is perfect for solo laptop users. There’s a bathroom, too. Great place to get some work done before or after a visit to ALCOVE nearby where you can have work calls in private. Wish I could give it 6 stars.
Cuppa is wonderful refuge. The cafe is clean and relaxing, offering a variety of seating whether you’re looking to relax or you’ve come to work. WiFi is very reliable. The baristas are friendly, polite and skilled. I love the drinks and the food! Many of the patrons are familiar because many are regulars. Definitely a testament for their feelings about the place.
Oh man, the hype is real. My good friend opened this coffee shop, and he’s absolutely perfected it. From the moment you walk in, everything feels just right—the welcoming vibe, the thoughtful menu, the incredible coffee, and the fresh pastries. The music is spot on too, making it the perfect spot to read, get some work done, or even enjoy a casual date. This place nails it: neighborhood coffee shop charm with the feel of a true espresso bar. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
I got their flat white, it was delicious. There is wifi but somehow the day I went it didn’t work. They don’t have a lot of outlets so be mindful of that if you want to use your laptop. There is a restroom (a big plus for me). Overall, a great place to spend your quiet time or hang out with friends!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to thank baristas Lily and Kristina – the coffee here tastes absolutely the best! Every cup is prepared with care and consistency. On top of that, I fell in love with their eclair with black currant – it’s so unique and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just delicious. Definitely my go-to café from now on!
Such a lovely, cozy cafe near Prospect Park! The guys were very sweet and helpful. The baker recommended the blueberry cheese danish and it was a one of the best I’ve had! They made me a craft coffee at request - a strawberry mocha (spin on their summer strawberry matcha)- and it was delicious! Perfect temp and sweetness. Great space to work with outlets for laptops - but it does get quite busy some days, understandably!
i have visited this place three times now, and I can’t get enough of their iced lattes they’re always spot on! I’ve been tempted to try some of the treats, but sadly, they don’t offer gluten-free options. On the bright side, the atmosphere is really spacious and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out and get some work done. There’s a bathroom available, and the wifi works both inside and outside, though I’m not entirely sure about the outlets. Overall, it’s a lovely place to spend some time!
Such a lovely spot right by Prospect Park! They have a drink menu that suits both coffee lovers and those who avoid caffeine. Cozy atmosphere with an extensive library — a perfect place to get lost for a few hours. I loved the music (big fan of Foals and TV on the Radio!) — it brought back some good old memories. A great place to host a small, intimate event. I attended an art therapy class there yesterday and already can’t wait to come back just as a customer!
Not bad. The pastry is good, you can also get other stuff besides coffee. I love the indoor seating options and the availability of an outdoor seating. The music was good the service was good. A couldn’t hear my friend very well because our chairs were too far from each other but the windows with great overview compensated that. Will come back for good price for quality.
If you're looking for a warm, inviting spot to enjoy a cup of delicious coffee, this charming little coffee shop is the place to be. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a cozy ambiance that immediately makes you feel at home. The drinks are consistently delicious and perfectly brewed, whether you're a fan of classic espresso, a creamy latte, or something more adventurous like a matcha. They also offer a variety of pastries and snacks that pair perfectly with your coffee, making it a complete experience. Review update after 5 months, for the attention of owners. Cuppa Hive Coffee is a wonderful café with a great atmosphere and excellent drinks. I truly love this place and always enjoy stopping by. It has a cozy interior, pleasant music, and delicious coffee—everything you need for a nice break. However, lately, I’ve encountered a serious problem: the café is literally turning into a coworking space. The number of people with laptops occupying tables for hours has become excessive. The last time my family and I visited, we couldn’t even find a free table because about 85% of the café was taken up by people working on their computers, while the remaining 5–6 guests without laptops were squeezed into a corner, hastily drinking their coffee. There was no space for my family and me inside, so we ended up sitting outside on a bench near the café, eating our sandwiches with coffee and leave it disappointed. I’d also like to point out that in the 15 minutes we were there, not a single person with a laptop finished their work or freed up a table. I understand that many people work remotely nowadays, but a café is still not an office. Most guests only need 20–30 minutes to enjoy their coffee and take a short break—not several hours of work. As a result, Cuppa Hive no longer feels like a café, but more like a remote work hub where regular visitors struggle to find a seat. I really hope the management takes notice of this situation and implements some form of regulation. Perhaps setting a time limit for laptop use at tables or designating a separate area for those who want to work would help. This would restore a balance between ensuring all guests’ comfort and preventing the café’s cozy atmosphere from being completely replaced by a work-oriented environment. I’d love to keep coming here, but for now, it’s becoming increasingly difficult.
A very popular coffee shop with great coffee and good small bites. The seating is surprisingly spacious for a storefront that looks unassuming and small from the outside. The coffee shop is relatively new and already popular with the remote work crowd who squat with their plugged in laptops 🧑💻 which is a sign that this place is doing well. Stopped in for a quick espresso and a croissant. Convenient outdoor seating. Very good and recommend this cafe for a quick coffee ☕️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I ordered my regular: oat iced latte with vanilla. It was good but nothing special. The oat milk kind of overpowered the taste of coffee. Also, the place was super busy, so I couldn’t even find a seat. That said, the staff were really friendly, and I appreciated the dedicated water station, especially with how hot it was outside.
