Picked up food for the first time. It was made quick without any long wait. It all starts with the brioche bun which is perfection. Next, the scrambled eggs are a masterpiece. The fries and tomatoes and ketchup assembled with everything makes for what could be my new favorite breakfast sandwich.

We had my daughter's 16 birthday at Dar in Greenpoint. It's a favorite takout spot for us (and occasional dine in spot). It was my girl's choice and it was an EXCELLENT one. The service is wonderful. Everyone was so sweet to us, and there were 18 of us! The food was not a disappointment- fresh, delicious and plentiful. Thank you for such a memorable evening!

We did the bottomless brunch on a Sunday and it was really fun. For $36, you have one main course and all you can drink Bellini, mimosa, sangria and beer. I think what made the difference is that the staff were proactive in pouring us drinks. Huge thank you to the staff, we shared a nice moment

This was my first time at this location in greenpoint. I've been a fan of the WB location for years and years. The only thing I was sad about was the breakfast pizza was not on the brunch menu. Other than that everything as always was perfect. Great job!!

Very cool newish neighborhood gem. Small and cozy place with really vibrant & relaxing vibes. Staff are really nice & patient. Great variety of menu options, authentic middle eastern flavors, many dishes to chose from, everything tastes delicious and super fresh. The full bar is also a great addition to the site makes your time there even more enjoyable.

What a wonderful delicious experience I had at Dar 525!! To start I had the Syrian Rolls. Though I knew it would be to much food I ordered the Dar mixed plate so I could try multiple items from the menu (Chicken Shawarma, Kafta & Lamb kebab)!! Beyond excited to have leftovers because it was amazing tastes to the pallet!! To take home but not without giving a small taste first I got Basbousa & Baklava definitely not making it home!! The food wasn’t the only thing fabulous truly the service by Mazen and Sherif was absolutely superb! Eating solo allowed me to observe them and though they were busy they gave such adequate time and attention to each customer! The Kitchen does an exquisite job presenting the food as you can see in the pics minus the one missing roll that i jumped on before grabbing a pic!! I eat to enjoy food and this was truly an outstanding experience!!

One of the nicest meals I’ve had in the past couple years. The ambiance is perfect, the decor is gorgeous, the people who run it are so lovely, and the food is divine. We ordered a messed sampler and kibbe. Every part of the dish was so delicious.

Everything was so good that I forgot to take more pictures haha. The strawberry lemonade though....superbbbb. and the trio meat thing...definitely recommend.

Food is terrific -- my go-to is the chicken shawarma platter (full meal on a plate! delicious pickles!) while my partner goes for the hummus and beet salad. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff is a bunch of sweethearts -- especially A. behind the bar! (He also has the BEST playlists -- I always come away having Shazam-ed a bunch of cool Arabic-language indie music.) A sweet neighborhood go-to.

I absolutely love this place! The staff (Afnan and Abdul) are amazing, very sweet and easy to talk to and they provide excellent service. I’ve been several times with different groups of people and everyone always loves coming here. The food is top tier, and best enjoyed in the nice cozy and warm atmosphere of the restaurant. During the summer when outdoor seating is available it gets even better, could not recommend more!

We had a big catering order and they were nice enough to help me carry it out to the car. While I was waiting they offered water and I was able to wait at the bar spot. Very friendly!!! This was my 2nd time here. What really made the experience today was my server, Afnan. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and all of her suggestions were spot on. Afnan was attentive without being overbearing. Excellent from start to finish.

Dining at Dar 525 is always a pleasant experience. The food is great. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Today was no exception.

Really wanted a burger. The Dar Burger delivered. Ok so I walk by this place all the time and from the outside it simply never seemed appealing as it’s pretty dark and gives off a bar/pub vibe. It decided to come in and the low lit space is pretty with dark blue walls and brick accents. It is not what appears to be from the outside. I ordered the Dar burger which is a house blend with lamb. Being that I love lamb and this is a Mediterranean spot it fit and it was delicious. The bun held well, the flavor, the aioli, the feta along with pickled beets and pickles were just a great combination. The sweet potato fries were perfect and crispy on the outside. The service was great. I can’t believe it took me so long to come in and will be back to try more items.
