Nice place with amazing service and tasty food !!!
One of the best ramens in Brooklyn, plenty of Special rolls and Cheesecake tempura that would keep you coming back 👍👍😋
We stopped by by chance and didn’t expect the food to be this good! The rolls are amazing, everything just melts in your mouth! The teriyaki chicken, the salads, everything is a 10/10. We’ll definitely be regular customers now.
I highly recommend this cafe if you want to have a delicious meal and have a good time. Very friendly and responsive staff. Very fast delivery of any dishes. Insanely delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. We are delighted👍👍👍🫶🫶🫶😻😻😻😻😅 We always come to this place for delicious food.
Ordered food for take out. The food was ready on time. Tried Dynamite and Spicy Tuna Bowl. Both were okay. Dynamite had too much onion to my liking, other than that it was fine. Tuna Bowl came with some shredded cucumbers and was also okay. The portions are very small so mind that when you pick what you order.
I used to come here with family all the time prior to Sake Sushi opening (Prior to 2011) and it was amazing back then. Recently, I went back with a friend for quick dinners after playing basketball at Sethlow Park. Now it has been reduced to something that kills your appetite. Half the dining room is used for storage, everything looks and feels dirty/unkept. The prices seemed like they were raised every time we went and the sushi did not taste that fresh. Even the bathroom was in horrible condition. The soap dispenser looked like it had some sort of growth it in. Maybe mold, maybe something else? I have included photos of that. The only plus side is that their Chicken Fried Rice is great, and they give a good sized portion for the price tag.
Has really downhill since covid. Aside from the prices increasing to match touristy Manhattan spots (which unfortunately has happened all 9ver Brooklyn), the entire atmosphere has gone down. It's like no one cares. The glasses aren't cleaned properly either. The picture is a glass of water I did not touch. The issue for me was the lipstick stain on the outer side. That being said, their fish is fresh. Only saving grace.
Outdated interior with a dirty falling apart sign canopy outside. Half of the restaurant is filled with restaurant supplies and boxes. Some food is prepared right in the middle of the restaurant as you can see on a picture that is cucumber. Sushi bar is filled with some supplies too. Sushi tastes decent.... If management clean up this place I will change my rating after I review
Everything looked good but the taste was so bad. Hot ice cream was not the consistence it used to be in other places, taste of all sushi was not very good. And definately miso soup was just a water with too small amount of ingredients and tated as it was diluted. I dought that will go to this place once more.
The food isn’t fresh. If you’re looking for real sashimi, this is the wrong place. They literally take spoiled fish, fry it, and try to pass it off as sashimi. They won’t even take it off the check when you call them out, and the servers are rude on top of it.
I've been coming here for over 9 years, several times a year whenever I'm in the area. Unfortunately, this place has been going downhill with each visit. The service is no longer what it used to be, and the quality of the food has noticeably declined. A few days ago, I stopped by for lunch — and it was a complete disappointment. Everything I ordered tasted sour, which clearly suggests the ingredients were not fresh. The soup I ordered was, without exaggeration, the worst I’ve ever had. It was sour, and out of what should have been ten ingredients, there were only two: some clearly old meat and noodles. It looked and tasted like leftovers dumped into a bowl — careless and unhygienic. I mentioned to the staff that I didn’t eat the soup at all and that the portion was large but inedible. They didn’t even apologize — and still charged me for everything. No courtesy, no accountability. The dining area was literally empty — I was the only guest — yet my order took over 30 minutes to arrive. Behind the counter were two chefs making rolls, one waitress doing something behind the bar, and another sitting and eating. At one point, an elderly man and woman came out from the back (presumably the kitchen), both in home clothes and slippers, and started wandering around the dining room out of boredom. It honestly felt like I had walked into someone’s private family home — a multigenerational Chinese household with grandparents, children, and grandchildren — not a professional restaurant. Sadly, this place has completely lost its standards. I do not recommend it.
