Tip: The cafe gets very busy at lunch, so bear in mind that it is a small space and may be packed. But it's the best spot for lunch in the area!

I used to come here for lunch all the time when I was in the area. Came here for the lunch special (what i used to get many years ago). Tasted better than I remember :) delicioso! Bueno provecho!
The lunch here makes my day! Definitely not agree to the last negative review here. The staff is super friendly and the portions are huge! Food is fresh and wraps are prepared with love as you can see in the photos ;-)
They make healthy, delicious and well portioned meals. Love their sandwiches, take a look for yourself at this beauty. That’s 3 full patties of juicy chicken!!!
This is the best service and great price and quality food good working best manger

Cesars make the best salad at a reasonable price. Also, the roasted chicken and veggie wraps are great.
The food is AMAZING, staff are very friendly, the food is cheap and fast. Would definitely recommend!
This place had great staff and great food! Highly recommended!
Great healthy food, and reasonable pricing for Brooklyn. This place would have an endless line if it was on a main street.
The food is always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff are incredibly friendly. A special shoutout to the owner, who clearly puts so much heart into this place. Highly recommend!
great food, good prices, nice staff
Cesar’s is hands down the best spot for lunch in the area. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. They do get quite busy at lunch. Bear in mind this is a small space and during lunch will be packed. Been coming here for the past 4+ years and has never disappointed.
Man this place is amazing with excellent food and excellent customer service. If I can give 10 stars I would. The wraps are delicious and chicken spot on. I recommend this place to anyone who is Downtown Brooklyn. Also the prices very affordable.
I love this place . Is very clean , the food is super tasty and the new management added more variety. Plus the workers are always nice and very helpful. If you want really good food quality you gotta go to Caesars gourmet cafe !!!
The food is very reasonably priced. Excellent customer service and the staff is outstanding..you gotta eat here..they care
I always had a great experience eating at this cafe food is always great and the staff is always nice and professional.
I come here during my lunch break and it is truly a hidden gem. Cesar is always welcoming and charismatic. Al, on the grill, is legendary. Marie (or Maria) is sweet and kind. Not only is the staff amazing, but they make exceptional food at classic prices. I had to tell my coworkers to stop by and now that’s all they eat for lunch.

Unfortunately, I have to partially agree with Adam Cohen's review. Cesar's cafe is certainly not the same under the new management. New chef that works with Angel is not as good, struggling with wraps and overcooking grilled chicken. Salads are still good, same price and same ingredients are available. Regular customers welcomed the return of credit card machine. A word of advice to a new owner: don't change the specials menu, regular customers are used to see certain specials on certain days.

UPDATE: In early April, Cesar's came under new management, and the place has taken a dive. The menu is identical, and the pricing still low, but the food quality is much more inconsistent on a day-to-day basis and the preparation less hygienic. Gloves are still worn, but a guy will slice an avocado with a knife, then quickly use it to cut your sandwich in half, before cutting some grilled chicken, all without wiping it off. While Angel still works there, and makes food like his namesake, the rest of them are still struggling to learn, and clearly struggling to make this place the same as it was. Bonus positive: The lines are now much shorter owing to the drop in quality. -------------------------- I'd give Cesar's more stars if I could. Cesar's is probably the best food option in this entire area, factoring in budget and portion size. You can maybe find food that tastes better, but you cannot beat the price or the portion size you get for your money. As a typical example: The Quarter Chicken Lunch Special (a small salad, a heaping portion of rice and beans, and a perfectly moist and delicious rotisserie chicken breast or leg), a bag of chips, and a 20oz. bottle of Coke is $8.25 with tax. You will feel very sated, and your wallet won't feel the hurt. The sandwiches leave a little to be desired (not many options), and the burgers take a long time to prepare. The salads suffer from the same ills as the sandwiches: if you are expecting a lot of salad toppings, you will be sorely disappointed (hope you like onions, cukes, tomatoes, and a few other staple items). The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is cramped but clean, and the service is pretty quick. INSIDER TIP: Get there about 10 minutes before noon on weekdays; the line is out the door from noon to 12:15, though it moves at a good pace. My only qualm with them is that they are closed on most holidays and on weekends.
Idk what it is but I think imma have to stop coming here. They either put too little on my food or too much. When I first started coming here they were consistently good for a week and idk what happened. The people at the counter are always nice but idk what’s up with the people making the food sometimes they look like they don’t want to be there.

I will not patronize this establishment anymore. I was standing outside in the heat waiting to go into the store to order my lunch. After waiting and getting inside Mike the owner told his worker a Spanish lady to take care of a man behind me who had just came. Two men in front of me yelled that" this lady is next" he stated she doesn't speak English I stated but I speak Spanish he told the worker "take care of the man" this behavior is bias and racist!
