Wow. I’ve never had Indonesian food in my life. We called to pickup and the food was ready within 15-20 minutes. Amazing first impression on Indonesian food! Super flavorful food and nice employee!
One of the best Indonesian foods in New York. Affordable price, outstanding flavor, and top-quality ingredients with such a rich and savory seasoning
My partner and I ordered Ayam Bumbu (fried chicken marinated in herbs like turmeric, galangal, and coconut milk). Those chicken were juicy inside, crispy outside and seasoned really well. Their price matches their excellent quality and portion; good value for money.
Indo mix might be a small scale restaurant with only few tables & chairs but it offers: 🥘amazing authentic indonesian food. Beef rendang is amazing, the fried chicken is really savory, soto tastes delicious. Everything taste enak (delicious) 🧑🍳friendly chef who greets us personally. Thanks a bunch Daeng Heri 👍👍 💁♀️great service by the twins We’ll be back. Sukses yaaaa Highly recommended 👍👍👍
Having an Indonesian partner means high standards for Indo classics - and even she was impressed by this spot! The martabak and chicken sate especially were delicious. The rendang was also tasty and tender - and apparently authentic (per her). The service was lovely and we are rooting for these wonderful people to get the support they deserve. Not to mention they partner with Sweet Mason who is also sweet and sells delicious desserts in the same store (recommend the banana pudding)! Also they offer free delivery which we will certainly be utilizing soon.
This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The beef rendeng, fried chicken and risoles was exceptional—high quality and exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for local Indonesian . Definitely coming back soon!
good food, great service ! they also have mason cake jars sometimes ... tried the tiramisu one & it's so good
Amazing Indonesian food in Brooklyn! Love everything we have ordered. The cendol drink is also so delicious! Will come back again
So glad an Indonesian place opened up in the neighborhood (and bubble tea!). We tried a sampler of things but especially loved the beef Rendang - it tasted authentic and was so delicious. The owners are super friendly too!
Everything here is so delicious and the women who work here are so so nice! So glad to have Indonesian food close to home 🥰🥰
As an Indonesian, I must say this place has the most authentic Indonesian food in the city, and I will definitely return to try their other dishes.

Amazing vegetarian/vegan. I never liked tempeh before the tempeh goreng—which is highly fried and yummy and not at all healthy. The mee goreng was perfect and light. I had never had London Sayur soup before; also very light, a flavorful yellow curry with jackfruit and compressed rice cake. The people are so nice too.
Ordered delivery and the food was all delicious and authentic! The lemper tasted just like my Oma’s from childhood and the mie bakso hit the spot! Will be visiting soon and definitely ordering delivery again 😊
I've had good food before, but nothing reaches this level. Staff shows both warmth and menu expertise. The dishes I picked had great taste. This spot matches its good publicity. Visitors and locals equally praise the quality here.
I love this place! It is a tiny shop, so I usually get take-out (but they do have tables, and I have eaten inside, and it is nice). Something about the food feels comforting to me. I have been getting it about once a week for the last few months. With the colder weather, it is perfect for it. I like their beef dishes, and I look forward to ordering each week. It is a great little pick-me-up. I highly recommend!!
really enjoyed my visit here! The Indonesian food was delicious full of authentic flavors that reminded me of home. My favorite dish was definitely the satay, it was perfectly grilled and served with amazing peanut sauce. The service was also really nice and welcoming, everyone was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving real Indonesian food! 🇮🇩✨

Indo mix is great, I've enjoyed everything I've had, and the people are really kind. There's not a whole lot room to sit, so I would also consider takeout. I would definitely recommend grabbing a dessert from Oh Sweet Mason while you're there!
I’ve not tried much Indonesian food so I’ll temper my review with that in mind…I was highly disappointed by the Beef Rendang (stewed beef). It looked great but was over seasoned with salt and dry inside. Likewise bland fried chicken looked great but fell one dimensional. On the bright side, the martabak appetizer(not Pictured) was truly excellent! The strawberry lemonade was nice and refreshing- you can choose the sweetness! Too many flies joining our table. Nice service very small digs. I might try again but won’t rush back.

Overall the dishes are just alright. The rice likes rocks, it’s way too hard to chew. The drink is still too sweet with 50% sugar level. Not recommended.
Won't be back again, with a heavy heart. When I first visited the place for a takeout (around 5PM on a Thursday), I waited for almost an hour for my food. I sat there patiently and when I asked the cashier lady the ETA for the food after 45 minutes of waiting, she did say sorry and my food came about around 10 minutes after that. I was not happy about the wait, especially when I saw dining-in customers who got there after me get their food first. However, the bakso and lontong sayur was delicious so I let that go, hoping it was a "right place, wrong time" type of incident. Today, I went with my husband to dine-in for lunch. The food came out pretty quickly. However, my lontong sayur had no chicken (I did pay extra) and my husband's mie goreng had a strand of stainless steel scrubber on it (see picture). The lady did offer to cook us a new plate, saying that "the chef is new, sorry". My second bowl of lontong sayur was delicious. I finished it clean (see picture). But when my husband tried his second plate of mie goreng, he tasted burnt parts (see picture) and the chicken was still underseasoned. My husband loves mie goreng so he was disappointed, and I also felt bad because I asked him to come with me to Indomix for lunch...and he had to leave the restaurant with no appetite. I remember being so excited to hear that this place opened - thinking that I don't need to drive all the way to Elmhurst for Indonesian food anymore....but it is truly, truly a bummer that after trying this place twice, I won't be returning...despite the fact that I love indonesian food and Indomix is only 10 minutes walk from my place. So so sad that I have to leave a bad review about a small business in the neighborhood, but just wanted to share my unfortunate experience.
