The shrimp blt tacos were incredible. My partner and I really recommend them! I'm still thinking about it and it's 2 weeks later.

Amazing!. Small but big on on everything else. My local spot will be there again. 😃

Tiny's Cantina is a great place to experience authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly. The atmosphere is lively and the music is great. This is a must-visit destination for anyone who likes to try new foods.

Step up to Tiny’s door and you will feel like you’re arriving home and all your closest friends are there to surprise you. The team is warm, welcoming, and wonderful. The drinks menu boasts a magnificent collection of cocktails (try the Hibiscus marg!) and spirits, and they have a balanced selection of foods. This place is going to be the new neighborhood spot - try it out before they get too busy!

Had a fantastic night out with family celebrating. The food was great, and Eddie provided wonderful service. I will be back!

Great happy hour special with outdoor seating. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. Had a margarita and enjoyed the sun and a book while waiting for my sister. I love that tajin is an option for the cocktail rim. I've eaten here in the past and they do well to accommodate vegetarians.

My husband and I had the complete pleasure of dining at Tiny's Sunday afternoon on our walk. We ordered a few of the different margaritas (get the Hibiscus with Mezcal!) and it was between meals so we ordered the Shrimp BLT Tacos just as a snack to share. We immediately regretted our "share" decision and ordered a 2nd round of the tacos before we finished the 1st....they were AMAZING! Staff was kind, accommodating and we never waited for a thing. You should go immediately! Just don't take our table...we're going back soon!

The shrimp taco is the best. Just order it! Food and drinks were so good we forgot to take pictures before starting!

Superb drinks and top notch staff! Would highly recommend for food before or after Nets game or if one is ever in the area!

I LOVE this place. Their food is amazing. I love all the homemade sauces (3x squeeze bottles that come with the tacos), the meat, the seasonings, the veggies. The chef is badass and I've seen him win lots of awards at food festivals. The drinks are also amazing. Recently, their frozen watermelon margarita was just tons of fresh watermelon (and booze) and it was sooo good. Tastes like summer. I highly recommend everything here. I've never had any dish I didn't love. Lots of good mezcals and tequilas too. Service is always great too

I loved my birria tacos - the tortillas were excellent. Really nice cocktail menu with fun riffs on margaritas.

The place is small and cozy, outdoor dining is available. This place is great if you wanna sit by the bar and catch a game. I went on Sunday around 1pm the place at just a couple of customers, I ordered the chicken and waffle and a Flatbush frozen margarita. They also gave me a complementary chips and beans while I waited for my order. The Frozen margarita was $25 but when it arrived I see why I paid that much. That think was huge, took me forever to finish it. I will definitely be going back there with my girlfriend's

Decent place near the Barclays which was ideal since I came into the city for the Liberty game, the other night! The place was packed for a Taco Tuesday, the service was phenomenal! My only advice is having a happy hour menu for folks coming to see a basketball game or concert. The place would do really well with that option. I thought $93 for drinks and appetizers were excessive though.

Tiny’s Menu was cute! We visited during NYC Restaurant Week. The server, Frank, was a newbie. He did a great job! Very attentive and helpful. The manager also did a great checking in with him and our table to ensure all was well! I’ll definitely be back for another Margarita flight 🍹

I loved this place!! I had tacos and enchilladas here and both were amazing. I went with 'green sauce' for enchilladas and it was a little spicy- i really enjoyed it. We also tried the nacho of the house and loved it too! With black beans and sauce, nachos were somewhere between crispy and soft. Overall satisfaction led us to try their churos and it turned out all we ordered were great!

Adorable little authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn. Everything is fresh, flavorful and well portioned - You can't go wrong with a single menu item! The unique Birria Tacos with Consume is levels above the rest, full of flavor, while the Carnitas Taco was moist and made to perfection! The sauce options are incredible - Make sure to try the Pumpkin Sauce... WINNING! Say hello to your new best friend, their Elote - You can't get this baby just anywhere... made with homemade mayo and all the trimmings right on the cob. Fajitas are insanely good - You can tell that the chef came from a high-end steakhouse! The guacamole and salsa are a MUST - Creamy and chunky all in one, the guac melts in your mouth while the housemade tortillas offer a perfect crunch (not too soft and not too hard)... Salsa is bursting with flavor and will please every tastebud! VERY RECOMMENDED!!!

I never miss the opportunity to head over to Tiny’s Cantina on my self care days. Happy hour from 4-6:30pm SIGN ME UP! I always go on low key days because I’m one of those people who brings a book to the bar and I feel like you get better service when it’s not busy. The service is ALWAYS good when I go & the food is always amazing, somehow every time I go they end up giving me some samples which I’m not made about. The happy hour margarita will always do it for me, I find that after one I’m feeling really good and ready to order food. My favs so far are the chicken quesadillas and the birria tacos. Both flavorful dishes, can’t wait to go back to try something new.

Really enjoyed dining at Tony's cantina. Seeing that they occupy the old Shorty's location, the atmosphere gives off an elevated dive bar feel. We arrived promptly for our reservation at 7pm and were quickly seated. The staff was very attentive and gave great recommendations. They had an attractive cocktail menu. I started out with the Hibiscus (Blanco tequila, hibiscus liquor, triple sec and lime) followed by the Cactus Pear (silver tequila, triple sec, peach puree, agave and lime) . Both were good strong drinks. I personally preferred the Cactus Pear. Their margarita also gets a good honorable mention. For appetizers, we started out with the guacamole classico and Alas Al pastor (wings with adobo marinade). We received 8 delicious wings served with pineapple salsa. Our dining experience was elevated by our entrees. I had the Camaron BLT (beer battered shrimp tacos served with bacon and aoili) which was delicious. The Birria de Res (pulled beef shank served with bone marrow) was also a winner. For dessert, we shared churros and très leches cake. The sauce of the cake complimented the churros well. We left stuff and happy. Being that they are in a prime location near the Barclays, this place will continue to find business. Can't wait to return and try more items on their menu.

Found Tinys on a Eater recommendation and what a treat! Immediately felt the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Camrones BLT and Birria tacos were both phenomenal and the burrito bowl was so satisfyingly fresh and layered. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Great service is an understatement. The staff made us feel at home and were incredibly kind & attentive. On top of amazing service, the food was incredible. Rarely does both happen. Highly recommend the birraria tacos, santa segre drink (similar to a spicy margarita) and guac.

Tiny restaurant that packs a punch! Service was a little slow but the waiter apologized several times. The delicious food made up for the wait. The fish tacos were full of flavor. The guacamole (not pictured) vanished within seconds. It was so fresh and the chips were still warm! Highly recommend if you want a yummy bite.

Went here on a Saturday night with my family, it wasn’t busy so we were seated immediately. We really had a good time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food was so good. It was nice and warm inside and it had a cozy feel to it. From the music to the decor, it created a very homey and inviting ambience, and I can’t wait to dine here sometime soon.

I’ve now been here several times, and I would overall recommend it, but in my experience, the food here is really hit or miss. The fish tacos, queso fundido, and cornbread were really delicious. The cocktails and sauces were great. However, the items I’ve ordered there with beef and pork have been disappointing. The cuts of meat that they served had about 90% fat and 10% meat, and that’s not even an exaggeration. Some people may not mind that, but I personally was not a fan.

Service was excellent, she was very attentive and even helped me charge my phone in the back! The chicken flautas were great and the guacamole was yummy! We got the margaritas Santa Sangre and Passion Fusion. I think the Passion Fusion was a bit more like a juice than a margarita, but not horrible luckily.

12/4 update: back for dinner. I had the Brisket Tacos again and they were just as good. I had the cornbread and that was really good too. Rob the BT was cool & service was good. 11/19/21 First time here. Lunch break. We sat at the bar because tables only hold 4 and we were 5. The food is great! I had the Brisket Tacos, a side of rice n beans and a tres leches cake, got that to-go and it was good. The Tacos were really good and built well, I would get them again. Rice n beans were ok, nothing special, could use some spices and yellow would be better than white rice. Chips n salsa were complementary and were good, chips are homemade or seem to be. Service was good and friendly. We will definitely be back. Happy hour specials (Mon-Fri) House margaritas $5. Beer specials and 2 food specials.

The food presentation was great the drinks where on point. The Guacamole was a little to salt and need more chips. The shrimp taco was great and the cheese was so fresh on the bowl dish. Desert was a great portion For sharing . The staff is new still good job.

I liked the taco options, it was hard to choose one. After weighing the birria, barbacoa and pork, I settled on the birria. The delivery was ok, it was a heavy taco, with a deep fried(?) shell. Flavour was good, especially with the accompanying consomme or the sauces. The marrow was underwhelming. I also had the hibiscus margarita, which was well made and quite interesting.

Ordered a burrito they gave me a bowl. Then they gave me a burrito but put jalapeños which wasn't on the menu & I specified nothing spicy, no pico and no salsa. Great service at Tiny’s. The waiter was really friendly. If you get there around 5pm when it opens, you can seated immediately. They play good music in there too. We ordered the nachos, fruit punch Jarritos, shrimp burrito and the chicken fajitas. I like the chicken fajita but wished there was more chicken versus the onions and peppers.

Winter Beer and I came here for a catch dinner before the holidays. The restaurant was empty with only one couple at the bar. We decide to sit at the bar since there was only one person working at the bar. They do have happy hour specials. We ordered a Tiny's nachos. It was a bit smaller than expected but it was tasty. I was three bites in before a long hair was baked into my cheese. I tried to get the attention of the bartender and he was swamped as another couple and solo diner came in. When he finally came over I told him what happened and he whisked it away very quickly cutting me off. I guess he didn't want the other diners to hear about the hair, which is understandable but still rude. He offered to remake the dish which I did accept. I ordered the chicken flautas which thought they were okay. Nothing to really write home about. The shrimp diablo was tasty but the dish needed a dash or two of hot sauce to really kick it up a notch. My friend got the grilled chicken burrito bowl. They thought it was okay but wasn't very tasty and bland. They added hot sauce but it was still disappointing. We ordered churros to round out the meal and they were tasty. The nachos and shrimp diablo was the highlight of the day.

I think this place is excellent for drinks and chips, but we came to dinner here and ended up paying too much for what we got. The birria tacos were great! The chicken fajitas were not that good. Nachos were good and drinks too. We just left the place feeling we hadn’t eaten that much and we still payed 60+ per person. Would come back for happy hour but not for dinner.

Only way I personally would chose to come back is if I’m at the Barclays center and every where else is packed… I really wanted to like it, but everything was quite bland. The nachos didn’t have much to them, the enchiladas were fine at best (probably the best thing we had), and the burrito left a lot to be desired… Also drinks are kind of crazy expensive for no reason…$18 for a margarita??? That’s rooftop in lower Manhattan prices.

K
Kev P

The food in my opinion was expensive and not filling, I left hungry after buying three mini tacos. The wings were not good and was burnt and dry. And my 18 dollar plain margarita sucked too, they probably used cheap tequila. I don't mind spending money on food but this wasn't worth it. The service was good hence the two stars. Would not go back.

C
Christopher M. Johnson

The bartender needs a LOT of service training. Unfriendly, abrupt and rude. The food is meh. I've been twice. The first visit was bad enough but I figured I'd give it another chance and almost didn't go in when I saw him behind the bar. I should have followed my instinct. There's way better Mexican restaurants with better service in the neighborhood.

Overall I’ve never been more disappointed and upset at the service of a restaurant. I went to this testing last night and I waited about 10 minutes for my waitress to take my order. She was not attentive at all and didn’t come to check on us. I had a super dry rice and bean burrito without meat and they charged me for a chicken burrito although I didn’t get it with chicken. The food is not worth it. At the end of dinner I asked for the check about 15 minutes after not being tended to. The waitress went to the back and came out got her food took off her uniform and sat down and ate. I asked for my check at the bar and was highly upset. I spent about 49 minutes waiting for the check. Overall the worst customer experience I have ever had and would never recommend.

T

Let me just say this I am not the type to go on Google reviews and put honest bad or honest good reviews on any restaurant, but this restaurant that I found on Google maps on Tuesday 4/16/24 .was not the food was not at all. The drinks were not drinking at all, the cheese and the burrito was not melted at all. Chicken and shrimp burrito tasted like the grill . I didn’t even take the food. I had leftover to go. The bill came up to $90. This is the worst $90 I spent in the last 90 days. Luckily I wasn’t on a date with somebody. I didn’t know cause I would’ve left them with that damn . All do respect to the waiter and the establishment but whoever is in the back of that kitchen find a new hobby please.

My friend and I went to Tiny’s Catina on Saturday for a girls outing. The service was great the food was decent as well as the drinks. The wings and sauce could also use more flavor. The food is also a tad bit overpriced. Once I got home I became sick, I ended up with food poisoning.

Los tres compadres has cojito cheese in it despite it not being mentioned on the menu. Very bad for people with severe allergies. The tortillas I ordered also had a fry in it. When I called the establishment to let them know they didn’t even attempt to try to help. Just hung up after I said Thank you, and explained the issue to them. First and last time ordering here which sucks because i would’ve been a repetitive customer because the guacamole is good here.

I honestly was super disappointed during my visit here . 1. The food taste is not definitely not the greatest . Very Oily and greasy , when it comes to the tacos. Barely any real flavor 2. The Bartender doesnt not know how to make drinks correctly. puts lots of ice and barely any liquor. Which is super sad . 3. In general Management is poorly managed Would not be coming back to this restaurant and wouldn’t recommend.
