Avis sur Jamaican Flavors Brooklyn
I was bummed to get a message from my delivery driver that Jamaican Flavors did not have bone-in jerk chicken ready, but they did have boneless. I was very annoyed, but very hungry, so I begrudgingly accepted the revised order and I'm glad I did. Boneless Jerk chicken w/macaroni and cheese- what a generous portion! But aside from that, flavor! Jumped in my mouth, spice level was perfect that I could even enjoy with my toddler. Seems they use chicken thighs which is a huge boost to flavor! And the Mac and cheese was gooey and they did not skimp on cheese (see my video clip of the cheese pull!). Had to take this down in 2 sittings. Spicy beef patty- this is what I was jonzin for. Great amount of filling, not greasy, meat was still moist, spice level was super enjoyable with a little bit of a longer, light burn. Spice is meant to flavor, not to hurt. Pastry shell was lightly crispy. Size was lager than most. Spicy beef patty w/ Jamaican cheese- Curiosity order here. I have no idea what Jamaican cheese is, but it tastes great! I did enjoy this more than I did American cheese. My only feedback is that I wish the cheese was distributed better in the patty. Ordered a Jamaican juice- slammin! I don't know what it was. But I think it was orange ginger and carrot. I was super pleased that there was no ice, just a cup full of fresh juice. Absolutely worth the value and order. The kitchen was kind enough to double my patty orders, I'd imagine to say "sorry we couldn't give you exactly what you ordered" and the gesture is appreciated. That's hospitality. Even though I wasn't there in person, they wanted to take care of me. I will order from here again.
I recently visited Jamaican Flavors, a bakery known for its delicious patties, and I have to say, I'm so glad I did! After hearing people rave about their patties online, I decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. I ended up buying 14 patties for my parents and 3 for myself. They offer such a wide variety, and the beef patty I tried was absolutely delicious. My mother sampled the ackee patty and exclaimed, "Now, this is a patty!" It was a big hit with the whole family. What really stood out to me was the great service. I was in and out of the store in no time, even though their site mentioned it might take up to half an hour for a dozen patties. I'll definitely be coming back for more. If you're in the area and craving authentic Jamaican patties, this is the place to go!
I had to pop this bad boy open as soon as I got home, I couldn’t help myself and it tasted even better than I imagined. Thank you for creating this work of art. I noticed that there are no indications of the prices but this plate was $12!
The best Pattie’s and coco bread in Brooklyn! My hubby and I walked pass and decided to turn around and try it & we’re so happy that we did! Fresh and made from scratch and many flavors. They also have drinks and sweets. He even travels on his lunch break 25 mins one way driving to grab a few Pattie’s with his friends. Yes it’s that good! I had the beef patty (you can even add cheese) and he gets the vegetable and callaloo. We will definitely stop by everytime we are at nostrand.
So happy to have good patties in the area with more than your usual patty variety, and at a very fair price consistent with other places, $3.50 each. You can choose from jerk chicken, curry chicken, bbq chicken, and also impossible patties, but that’s not even all of them! Tried the hot beef and bbq chicken this time. Both were very fresh, and tasted homemade. I liked the crust on the hot beef I got today; more of the thick, chewy consistency I go far. You’ve been warned about the hot beef, it’s got plenty peppah! This is probably the spiciest beef patty I’ve ever had, and that’s a good thing. It’s more of a small hole in the wall but very clean and bright. They have a few different drinks you can buy on the go, you’ll need it for the hot beef :D! The packaging is a plus, the paper bag is insulated. Service is fast and friendly. Love that this place is on prime Fulton off the subway.
Amazing patties and friendly service! They have several vegetarian/vegan options like Impossible and Chickpea, which is so nice.

Went there last week for the jerk chicken dowel but everyone else was there for their patties so I got one too, and all I am saying is I am going back today to get some more. I got the spicy beef patties and ate it on my way as I walked and instantly regretted only getting one. The bowel of jerk chicken was filled to the brim. All that food was only 14$
I prefer this location thus far as I bring a business partner here to not only get there delicious patties but also because of how courteous and attentive the staff is EVERYTIME I visit. I’ll be visiting this week because I’m due my Callaloo and Chick Pea patties and Sorrel.
One bite of the jerk pattie with coco bread and I knew I had to write a review. The patties were flaky and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The coco bread was smooth and buttery; the perfect add-on to a top tier meal. I'll be back soon to try some of their other foods soon; the store smelled wonderful and the staff was very nice.
I love Jamaica flavors. The patty’s are freshly baked on site. with the best ingredients 100% authentic Jamaican patties. The staff is great with best and location is very convenient. Public transportation is on the same block. I give them a 10 out of 10 rating. Keep up the great work and don’t change nothing. Your my go to spot for comfort food
My favorite quick bite after a long day! Delicious every time and always a friendly staff ♥️
How can such a tiny place cook such an extraordinary food I don’t know. Jerk chicken was amazing and the juice sooo tasty! Thanks and congrats from Italy 🇮🇹
Sooooo, I didn’t get a chance to take a photo; I destroyed my spicy patty in seconds 🤣🤣🤣 Everything you could ever want in a patty can be found at Jamaican Flavors. The staff are excellent as well! I will definitely return to try more patties and their cakes, which look delicious. 🫶🏾 Finally, a place with great patties; where have you been?! 😁🤔
Great place for your craving. Drove from queens to get a fresh patty and coco bread. The shop was really nice, the staff welcoming. The price was around $8.00 I ordered a drink also. When arrived home there was an additional patty in the bag. I was really happy about that.
Great assortment of patties!!! I like the jerk chicken sandwich special!!! Long lines and crowded sometimes. Try go early as possible they often run out of patties & food that says volumes about their delicious offerings...
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a little while now and I’m so glad I did. I stopped in for a jerk chicken patty w/ coco bread, I was also happy to see they had sorrel spiced w/ ginger…all I can say is that I’m mad at myself for only getting one of each. Great Sorrel and great patty! I ran over there today only to see they were closed…Monday can’t come quick enough! ❤️

Very delicious food. And the staff’s are very friendly, well mannered and friendly. Keep up the amazing work.
Excellent! The staff is quick and understanding. The meat is very well seasoned! I came all the way from France to eat here and I don't regret it!

This is saying a lot but I like their patties more than juici patties right on the block. This corner has the best patties in NYC!!!! Don’t forget your coco bread.
The cucumber juice here tastes like liquid gold. Had a little bit of a ginger kick. The patty was great too. Positive attitudes from all the staff. Will be juicing up here all the time!

Food was very fresh. Got the mild-beef patty with coco bread. Very small establishment... Just order, pick up and go. No seating.
Quick grab and go spot. Great patties competitively priced given the other pattie options in the vicinity.

Great service—they even provided a few options when I was unsure of what to choose. The only downside is that parking is difficult to find, and the space can feel a bit tight during busy hours. However, the patties and jerk chicken were absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back.
Jamaican Flavors, you really don’t have the luxury of overcooking your beef patties when Juici Patties is just five doors down. The crust was so tough, it felt like biting into the rocks at Dunn’s River Falls. Be serious — consistency and quality matter, especially with competition this close.

This review is from October 25,2025: I found a larva encased in barbecue sauce in my food. I had ordered jerk chicken with Mac and cheese. Since then I haven't eaten at any Jamaican Flavors I'm actually too scared to. I normally go to Kosciusko location because they have more options plus taste wise I do like them better but on that day I just didn't want to go far. Now I'm skeptical of all and just keep my distance. I'm just glad I always check my food while eating or I probably would've ate it if I didn't eat one already 🤢🤮
