LOVE Macri Park! Great vibe, staff and sound! My wife and i pop in here fairly regularly to catch drag on the weekend and recently were there on a Friday night to see BibleGirl and Princess Bytch. These two always put on a great show, great songs, funny on the mic, awesome audience participation. We love the staff too, great service and friendly smiles from Meg and Tony any time we pop in!
My straight lady friend fell in love with Mister better recognised as the Bearded Lady. Such a wonderful experience. Non clickey, very friendly, and accepting. We love this place!
Bar was awesome and fun and Lys was super cool bartender i have ever seen.

I love macri park, they always hold great events such as karaoke and drag night. I go at least once a week for the past year and I have only had one bad experience. When I did have a bad experience the staff made sure my night would not be ruined and they were friendly and helped.Overall I love this place. Its a gay bar but everyone is welcome
I love the Williamsburg Area! And I frequented the Old Macri Park..and that was a fun bar....I have to say that they (The New Macrì Park) is an incredible establishment and a refreshing bar that welcomes all patrons, whomever they are...as long as they enjoy having a good time and share the same values....love, laughter & living life! High Five & Kudo's!!!Also the bartenders and especially the Manager are very friendly, funny & treat all customers like family!...
Everyone is sweet and wonderful. The performances are as most dread shows are - ducking awesome and the bartenders are lovely. Photo credit: @aka_jophoto *Also has a backyard made of cement and paint.
Went for happy hour and had a great time so I stood till closing and bar tenders are very friendly and very fast. I would recommend this bar to any one. Good times and great shows.
I’ve been coming to Friday night trivia for over a year and I always have a great time. Cameron and Cory always have different and engaging rounds and Meg is always attentive to the customers no matter how busy it is. Love having a set trivia spot!
AMAZING service everyone was so kind. The music and the atmosphere was a vibe. Meg on drinks was 🔥
Great bartender! (Guy with the long 3 or 4 braids) Atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Thorgy Thor came in out of drag while we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Close by to all the “stuff” and has a cute outdoor patio ;)
THIS IS THE BEST BAR IN THE WORLD! What do you want from a bar? Chill w good music and cold AC? A backyard to blaze in? A tiny front area where you can judge everyone walking by? This place has everything. I've been coming for years and the bartenders are great. Wburg gay bars' Beloved Aunt!
The really hot big kitty bartender was amazing. She played amazing music and I eventually submerged in the Berkshires.

great bar to meet a few friends at. don't wear high heels if you're planning on using the loo - you gotta walk down a steep set of stairs. not good after 3 or 4 strong drinks!
Another gay bar with a mean barkeeper (Classic in NYC), The cocktail was nice though. I rate it with 2 stars bc the first experience I had was with the bartender.

I will no longer support this bar or any of its sister bars due to the inappropriate and unfair way it treated its staff. To terminate their employment in order to “become a gay bar” without giving them the option of remaining on staff is unethical. This bar was already a safe space and gay friendly, and there was no reason to fire this group of hard working, professional individuals. I will no longer be supporting any of their bars: Alligator Lounge, TNT, Lulu’s, Crocodile Lounge, Metropolitan, The Abbey, Nowhere, The Charleston, and Macri Park
I am a regular customer of this bar. I come every week and always leave a tip, the staff knows me very well. But one day, when I did not plan to spend time in this bar, and I needed to go to the toilet, the bartender did not let me go, said that I should either buy a beer or start paying cash for entry to the toilet. In my opinion, this approach is very strange, especially towards regular customers, of which there are not many in the bar, apparently, it is almost always empty. Today's visit to this place outraged and completely disappointed me. For me, this bar is good because they have two sofas outside under a canopy, where I usually sit. And today I paid for a beer and was alone in the bar, so I wanted to sit on the sofa outside alone. But on this sofa with me there were always just passers-by, not customers of the bar. Someone ate their pizza and drank their drinks, someone smoked weed, and so on. Well, in that case, why would I come here, pay for a beer and leave a tip when I can sit on a bench in any public place where anyone passing by can sit with me? It will be cheaper, and the result will be the same, I don’t see the point in overpaying. Well, the most outrageous thing for me is that you can’t go into their restroom unless you bought a beer or gave the bartender cash today, but you can sit on their couches and do your own thing. If you have such a strict approach, then don’t let non-customers on the couches. Otherwise, it’s kind of weird.
The bartender was having a bad day and had no intention of hiding it. As someone who has worked in the industry for 40 years, I’d never go back or recommend this bar to anyone.
Bar man didn’t know how to make any classic cocktail and had a terrible actitude. Host has a horrible mouth breath. Lost the cover I paid.
I’ve been to a lot of gay bars. Most don’t give top-tier service or drinks. Negative reviews are also often exaggerated. But this place is as bad as reviews say. Our bartender was drunk and it did *actually* take 20+ min for one drink.
Went there with my gf for a birthday gathering for a colleague last Saturday night. A guy and a girl working the bar. Guy took forever to come take our drink order and when he did, we asked for a drink for one of us, said they didn’t have it and walked away without asking if we wanted something else instead. Didn’t ask me if I wanted something. Didn’t come back to us at all rest of the night. Just asked what we want, didn’t have it, and then walked away. Finally the girl came over and then took our orders. Don’t want to assume why we were being discriminated against but pretty hostile service and environment. Literally just waiting there for service. Didn’t shout or get in anyone’s way or anything.
I’ve stopped coming here because one staff member, Nancy, consistently creates an uncomfortable environment. Her behavior toward customers is abrasive and intrusive. It negatively affects the overall experience and reflects poorly on the bar. Management should address this issue. She is nasty at the door and is just unkind to people. Someone like this should not be working at a bar that is already dying.
