I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery. Their cheesecakes are seriously incredible — the rich, velvety New York‑style cheesecake was a highlight. On top of the amazing desserts, our server was a delight: warm, attentive, and really made the visit feel special. They welcome you by the door and Asur you to the big verity of cake and dessert to choose from. We went there for the vegan option to celebrate my baby first birthday he has a dairy allergy but unfortunately the vegan option was pre-order. The staff explained to us and answered all our questions so we got the best option ( strawberry shortcake) it was very delicious and moist.

I really love the blue velvet cake. Due to short notice had to go with Vanilla which was good too. I requested the cake less than 24 hours they delivered. The edible candies I think it could be made of a gummy or a bit tasty. Didn't have a taste or just overall chewy. I would most definitely shop here again. They are worth every penny and great customer service. Timely response.

I love Mia's Bakery! I'm not really a sweets person, but this is the only place where I can order a Brooklyn Blackout slice and actually enjoy it. In fact, it's the only place I'll take a chance on ordering chocolate cake. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but something about this cake keeps me coming back, it's moist, rich, and has an intense chocolatey flavor without being overpowering. I've always been a Junior's strawberry cheesecake lover, but the cheesecakes at Mia's definitely don't disappoint either. Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to stop in for a slice of Brooklyn Blackout cake and either strawberry or cherry cheesecake. I've even gone out of my way just to "coincidentally" drive by Mia's and grab my sweets! I've also tried the Chocolate Layer Cake, Red Velvet and Carrot Cupcakes, and a few pastries, but I tend to stick with my favorites, if it ain't broken, don't fix it! I've never sat inside to enjoy my desserts, but they do have a nice seating area. Ordering is always quick and efficient, I'm usually in and out within three minutes. I visit both the Times Square and Brooklyn locations, and have never had any complaints, but I will say the Brooklyn location is my preferred bakery!

In the online questionnaire there is a question about what your budget is for a custom cake, however they always charge way over the mentioned budget, so what’s the point of asking if you’re not going to at least try to accommodate the customer’s budget requirements. Also, one of the cake layers were burnt and dry, this should have been cut out before the butter cream icing is applied. Outside of these two concerns, the cake looked beautiful and tasted very good minus the burnt layer..

I’ve only tried their coffee so far. The flavor is really good — smooth and well-balanced. The space is cozy and the vibe is nice.. The only thing I found a bit strange is that the coffee wasn’t hot enough. It was warm, but not as hot as I would expect. If they could serve it a little hotter, it would be perfect. Overall, still a solid spot for coffee and I would come back.

I recently placed an order for a custom cake for my friend and I’s party. I ordered a vanilla cake with raspberry cream and also requested a custom design. The design came out adorable, my friend and I were really happy with how it came out. The raspberry cream added the perfect sweetness to the cake and it tasted freshly made. I was a bit disappointed that the cake itself was a little dry but the cream really saved it. Easy pickup and the staff was super attentive.

Atmosphere was great! Service was ok (packed cheesecake instead of strawberry shortcake, which was the best thing in the box) ! All sponges were soft and evenly layered. For me, I think it’s the choice of cocoa or chocolate that they used, it left an undesirable taste….that could just be me! I was really looking forward to the salted caramel but the top layer was soggy (maybe from some sort of soak) but the texture threw me off! Coconut tasted old!!!
