Avis sur MeatUp Brooklyn
The cleanest restaurant in New York with the best view, the most delicious food, and prices truly worth it. Much better than the famous Halal Guys — seeing a Turkish-owned place like this makes me proud. Well done! Also, it’s the first place in America where I’ve seen them offer wet wipes — such an amazing detail :)
If you’re in DUMBO, Brooklyn, you have to visit Meatup! The food was absolutely amazing — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The meat was juicy, tender, and full of rich flavor. You can really tell they care about quality. The atmosphere was cozy but modern, and the location in DUMBO makes it even better — such a nice area to walk around before or after your meal. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, one of the best spots for meat lovers in Brooklyn. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend 🤍
From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere has such a great energy, and the food was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. You can really feel the attention to detail in everything. The friendly team made us feel truly welcomed, not just like guests but at home. Special thanks to Mr. Kazım for his kindness and attentive service. We’re already looking forward to coming bacak!! 🤩
Everything is a 10/10. I come here every week with my co worker, and we always leave satisfied. I’ve converted 9 people from my company to come to this spot to get a delicious, filling meal. Don’t waste your time and other bowl spots like Cava. This is the heart of DUMBO, a true hidden gem. I will die on this hill. Service is also always wonderful, and the workers are lovely.
Guys, you’re the best! I randomly found you about two months ago, and now I’m ordering delivery almost every day. I’ve also been to the restaurant and it’s super clean, and the food is amazing. Honestly one of the best spots - I recommend it to everyone. Thank you guys, and keep doing what you’re doing!
We ordered office catering from Meatup for two days in a row and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with our staff. Delivery was right on time, and the team who set up was professional and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for office catering—we’ll definitely be ordering again! Thanks - from Partnership with Children 💚
Meat Up Mediterranean offers an amazing chicken shawarma bowl — the flavors were absolutely top‑notch! The vermicelli rice was steaming hot, and all the ingredients on display looked incredibly fresh. The restaurant also has an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge, which makes the experience even better. The restrooms were well maintained, which was great given how busy the area can get. Prices are nominal, and it’s conveniently close to Brooklyn Bridge Park. Just note that there’s no parking, which is expected in downtown Brooklyn. Highly recommend trying this place!
Meat Up Gyro Place is an absolute gem! The gyros are packed with flavor, the meat is perfectly seasoned and juicy, and everything tastes fresh and made with care. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is always friendly and fast. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. If you’re craving a proper gyro done right, this is the spot. Highly recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came to this döner place in Brooklyn and tried two different menu items — both were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and cooked just right. Portions were generous and the flavors were outstanding. You can really tell they care about quality. Highly recommend this spot, we’ll definitely be back!
I absolutely loved this place! Their bowls are incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — you can taste every ingredient. The portions are generous, the service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a healthy and delicious meal. Highly recommend!
I went to this tasty little place that serves what is essentially a halal version of Chipotle a couple of months ago. I presume they are Turkish, based on the pita being Turkish-style rather than the usual stuff you find in most Arabic spots, and on them serving doner/döner on a spit, but I'm not positive (pretty positive though, as I heard Turkish there.) The menu offers the standard choices found at similar spots, including a bowl, a wrap, or on a pita. However, the bowl options are a bit more unique, such as vermicelli rice along with the standard brown and greens. The dips are various mezzes from muhammara and labneh to the more standard hummus and smoked eggplant/baba ghanoush, and guacamole if you're confusing this for a Chipotle. For meat options, there's beef or lamb doner (or a mix of both for more) along with caramelized mushrooms, falafel, or roasted veggies. The remaining toppings include many options, including more Turkish/Arabic/Middle Eastern items such as sumac onions, shredded cabbage, and a tomato-and-onion salad and many others. There's also a bunch of sauce options, ranging from spicy to not so much, such as tahini and my preference, garlic whip/toum, among others. I personally got a rice bowl, which starts at a reasonable $12.50 if you don't add any premium meat options. Along with vermicelli rice, I got a beef döner, which was $2.50 more, with roasted mushrooms as an additional protein, along with muhammara, baba, hummus, and a bunch of toppings, with the garlic whip and another sauce on top. The portion size was quite large and reasonable after tax, at about $17.50, including both toppings, though this would have been a couple of bucks less without the mushrooms. The rice was slightly buttery as it should be for a Turkish-style shop, and the meat was tender and flavorful, being much better than the relatively dry meat at German Doner Kebab. The various toppings were of good quality, with smoky baba ghanoush, a slightly thick hummus, and a solid muhammara, though I would have preferred more walnuts for texture. The rest of the toppings were fresh, with my preference being a lot of pickled and spicy ingredients, and the dish definitely packed a spicy hit. Of course, the toppings aren't as good as at a spot like Al Badawi or other similarly high-quality Arabic spots in the area, but for the price point, it's hard to complain much. I hope another one of these opens up in Manhattan. In my opinion, I prefer either Flatiron or Curry Hill, as many of the old, good Arabic spots had closed due to the pandemic and would be welcomed by the locals in those places. There are a few other areas I think they would work as well, but those two would be my preference. If I were in the area, I would have gone back and tried a pita, but unfortunately, I don't live there anymore. Hope they do well, and they should.
Absolutely loved Meetup Dumbo Döner! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, you can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions were generous, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed but stylish, making it a great spot for both a quick bite or hanging out with friends. Highly recommend the döner . it’s easily one of the best I’ve had in NYC!
Absolutely delicious! Meetup Dumbo is hands down one of the best döner spots in Brooklyn. The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, the portions are generous, and everything tastes super fresh. The staff are friendly and quick, and the place has a great casual vibe, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a real meal. If you love döner or just want amazing, flavorful food, you have to try this place. Highly recommend 10/10!
Worth the hype. Fresh, flavorful, and fast. Dumbo’s new spot overlooking incredible views of the Brooklyn bridge/NYC skyline. This spot is def one of our new favorites & go to spot when craving some Turkish food. I grabbed a half chicken half lamb gyro bowl and was blown away—juicy, well seasoned meat and toppings that actually taste homemade. The pita wraps are just as good (and super filling) along with great vegetarian options. Everything is build your own, which makes it easy to customize. They’re generous with the portions & reasonably priced. Extremely friendly staff, clean space, and fast service. You can tell they care about their customers satisfaction & for the quality of their food. Not your typical gyro, it’s better. Definitely worth a stop, you’ll walk away impressed & probably planning your next visit!
I had the chicken gyro bowl and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, flavorful chicken, and the perfect mix of veggies and greens. The creamy dressing tied everything together so well. The portion was generous and satisfying. Great spot for a healthy and tasty meal—I’ll definitely be back!
A Brand New Spot — And We Loved It! We stopped by MeatUp Gyro today on their grand opening — and wow, what a great experience! The festive balloon arch at the entrance immediately caught our eye, and the inside was clean, stylish, and welcoming. We tried their bowls with chicken, fresh veggies, sauces, and greens — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Loved that you can customize your own bowl just how you like it. The location is amazing — just steps away from the Brooklyn Bridge. Perfect for a quick, delicious meal before or after a walk. 📍 Atmosphere — 10/10 🥗 Taste — 10/10 🧼 Cleanliness — 10/10 👋 Service — Super friendly and fast This place is off to a fantastic start. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
I ordered a wrap with beef and chicken, but instead I was given pork or lamb with chicken. I absolutely hate that type of meat, which is exactly why I clearly specified what meat I wanted when ordering. This is not a small mistake — the person who prepared the order clearly didn’t pay attention. I took two bites and had to leave the entire wrap. I honestly don’t know what I paid for.
