I discovered this great place while being in New York on business earlier this month. Excellent friendly service, delicious cocktails, good latin music and the food (especially the quesadillas) was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Amazing drinks and food. They do Happy Hour from 4-7pm with drinks and food on Happy Hour. Karina is an AWESOME bartender. For sure a place for anyone to check out.

The tacos and birria selection here are some of the best in the neighborhood. Great selection of Mezcal’s, mixed drinks and they even make my favorite Carajillo. Great services and cool vibes. My go to for a quick but nice Mexican dinner.

This wonderful establishment answered the call when we were on the hunt for dinner in South Slope. Welcoming cozy atmosphere with a nice bar. I immediately knew we were in the right place when all the patrons drinking at the bar were Mexican. They even started karaoke. They have two TVs which were playing music when we were dining. The service here was impeccable. Our waitress Karina was ultra attentive, coming in with great tips, changing our utensils after a course, making sure our table was clean. It just so happened, that we were there for Taco Tuesday. They had a combo special for 3 tacos with a choice of tequila or mezcal margarita for $22. To our pleasant surprise, our margaritas were a double portion. We ordered the passion fruit and coconut mezcal, both pretty strong. We started out with the nachos with chicken as an appetizer. Great size for two people, well made. You could tell they used real cheese to melt on the nachos. I went with the fish tacos on the advice of our waitress and it did not disappoint. The fish had a nice crisp but soft and flavorful inside. My husband also enjoyed his taco carnitas. A side of yellow rice and beans were a great addition to our meal. They were generous with their portions as we were only able to finish two tacos and took the rest home. We finished our meal by sharing a tasty slice of tres leches. Overall, this place hits all the marks with tasty food, great service and atmosphere. I can't wait to return and try more items on the menu.

Didn't eat here though the food looks delicious but had drinks. It's a cozy and funky bar and Mexican restaurant in South Slope. Our bartender Corinna was fabulous and a great host. Happy hour at 4.

Alan served us tonight at the bar and was an absolute gentleman. And the food is DELICIOUS. It’s wonderful to have such a lovely neighborhood spot with beautifully crafted food. Compliments to the chef — the tacos and enchiladas w/ salsa verde are top notch, flavorful with a kick!

Craft cocktails were delicious!!!! I had the Watermelon Mescalita and the Mayan Dreams. Outdoor seating available. Smaller style restaurant seating indoors but perfect if you want to pop in for a drink or tapas. Staff was very friendly and personable with suggesting great recommendations.

The spot provides good value. i'm pleased to say it was worth trying. The workers are fantastic; friendly greetings and meeting every request positively. You get more food than expected for what you pay. This spot warrants exploration.

I called six different places after work, trying to find a place that was still open to have dinner- before going home after a very long 16 hour day. This place was still open, and the tacos were so amazing. The service was great and the food was extremely reasonably priced! I didn’t even care what kind of day I had, because it ended with great food and a great drink.

This place knows how to make guests feel valued. Employees showed impressive professionalism! The food tastes lively and satisfying. The limited square footage creates a snug dining experience. The positive ratings are right on point.

A friend and I went for happy hour at the bar and it was delightful! I had the happy hour cucumber pina mescal margarita and fish tacos for $22 and both were so good. The bartender was great and helped my friend try new tequilas she’d never heard of. Definitely going back. Highly recommend!

The bartender Karena was fantastic. The food was very good and the drinks were good. The ambiance is fair- nothing particularly nice, but the great service, personable staff and great food certainly make up for the lack of atmosphere.
