Their steam Salmon and veggies are very tasty. The Salmon melts in my mouth. Their fried shrimp is delicious and not covered with batter, you can actually taste the shrimp. And Their fried pogie is also delicious. So if your a fish lover tried it out. They are very busy, therefore their wait time can be extremely long, try calling ahead for pick up.

Food was good they practice social distancing. Will give you a clicker and when it blinks your order is ready. Small so u have to wait outside. Suggest you call ahead if u don't have a car.

I love them‼️ they food is great the wait is a little long but that’s why u order over phone and get a order number. They take ebt, and you can season the food to your liking. Since they’ve been around it’s been my goto place. Salmon and rice is my favorite. Crablegs are cheap, Hell everything is cheap and all fresh customer service is great u won’t ever be disappointed.

Steamed or fried, you can't go wrong but I'll always suggest the steamed salmon with vegetables and the fried basa with fries. Calling in during the earlier hours are easier than at night time or the weekend. They have a line over there during the evening hours. Orders take around 15 to 20 minutes when you order during earlier hours. During the busy times, 30 to 35 minutes. Treat them with respect. They work hard over there and the food is super consistent. Always worth my money. If you're a serious seafood person - I'm allergic to most - people are always ordering some from there.

Love this place. If you're looking for seafood boils or just plain seafood, they have it. The menu includes smoked sausages, king crab legs, rice, veggies, etc. you name it, they have it. Their steaming services are so worth it, and very friendly on your pockets!!! Would suggest coming here to everyone and anyone.

The food here is super fresh. You can tell as soon as u walk in that the seafood is fresh, it's not stinky like a lot of seafood spots. Another thing that makes the food fresh is your fried food isn't sitting in batter and/or frozen waiting to be fried. It's battered and fried to order! EVERYTHING is to order. There may be a 15min or more wait depending on your order but it's worth it. I had lightly seasoned steamed shrimp, vegetables & lobster tail.....it was AMAZING!!! As far as reasonably priced seafood goes, this is the place to eat. Not only do they have a large selection of fresh seafood, but they give you the option to steam, or fry most of the items. Lastly, and definitely not least, after they prepare the dish, they give u the choice of seasoning your own food. Doesn't get any better than that. The only reason I gave them 4 stars, is the amount of time you have to wait to get your food.

I buy lunch from here all the time. It's a fish store, but they also can fry or steam your food on the spot. They season it on the spot for you, and it tastes good. They add vegetables, french fries, or sweet potato fries if you want as a side. They also have large variety of seafood.

The food is delicious the seafood is very nicely seasoned. You will enjoy your seafood experience atOcean King. The only reason they didn't get a 5 stars rating is because I feel they need to deliver the orders with a little more speed. Especially during these times with six feet of distance in order speed is essential. Aside from that I'm going backbto Ocean King again soon.

So this fish market may not look like they serve good seafood but I was pleasantly surprised. My friends and I were craving steamed seafood and decided to visit New Ocean King Seafood. By the way the sign says Ocean King Seafood, its the same place!! The customer service was good, the staff was respectful, kind and answered all of out questions about the seasonings and pricing. I really like the fact that they offer curry, old bay, jerk, cajun and a Baltimore seasoning options for steamed food, I am excited to try the different flavors on my next visit. I ordered steamed cajun shrimp, tilapia, scallops, oysters, corn, cabbage and sweet potatoes with fresh garlic and butter. The seafood was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They also have fried seafood options as well. If you're in Bedstuy and in the mood for a boil, check them out!

Ive ordered from here 2x...The shrimp 🍤 fried rice is fire 🔥 the catfish was Ok but everyone doesn't clean catfish good and this had a muddy taste to it... I'd pass on that. The whiting was ok...it was fried well but didn't taste fresh and lacked seasoning...the fried 🍤 shrimp was kind of rubbery. I'd definitely get the shrimp 🍤 fried rice again with garlic butter sauce and I'd try the whiting one last time before I give up on the 🐟 fish.

Barely seasoned , or it taste different and smell straight from the sea and they move stingy with the sausage or whatever add on you choose . then they are days when it taste really good and seasoned well. Gone to this location about three times has it got here and I must say I was not disappointed.I got this steamed seafood on the second visit was really nice.The third visit I ordered the fried catfish and shrimps, which was also had a nice taste and flavorful. I must say prepare to wait at least an hour. If you come during off peak hours on Thursday, Friday Saturdays. Order a head if you can.

This is one of the few places in Brooklyn that you can get good fried or steamed fried fish and shrimp, or any other seafood. Everything is good and they are popular. There's always a line line with people waiting during the weekends. This is because people enjoy this food.

Good food but has gotten pricey for no reason. Also your gonna spend a long time in here waiting for your food. Better off taking a trip to Lighthouse in Harlem better food and service.

Mayhem. The menu is fresh but the delivery is chaotic. I was appalled at the indifference of the fish cleaner and his inability to prioritize with 1 person (me) waiting. I also question their sanitary practices.

Just another local fish fry spot. Porgys were fresh and cheap but are they farmed? Don't know. Are they from NY? Probably not, but who knows. Don't come here looking for sea bass, or bronzino etc.

The 2 stars is because the food is good. But the experience was aweful... I felt rushed and not only did I feel rushed .. my order was not completed as it was missing 2 items .. please be kinder and more precise when dealing with people as you would want the same service if you were eating out.

Not only did they get my order wrong, but they got several other peoples orders wrong and the place was over crowded. Due to the situation we live in now I think they should have it where people can continue to order over the phone and pick up their orders so it won't be too many people in the store at one time. It was jammed pack and people standing too close to each other there wasn't space for distancing.

I didn't like the food and there is no organization in the line to order or when you are picking up everyone is standing around in a tight spot that is crowded I will not return.

Never had a problem with them until yesterday. They were unprofessional and bad customer service. The workers are rude. They don’t changed their oil in the fryer they cooked fried food and the same oil. My dad got really bad food poisoning from them and still have it. There needs to be a reimbursement of my money for his order or I’m calling department of labor/health. Unacceptable.

This place has fallen off in my opinion. They never get your orders correct. The crab legs weren't even seasoned. I spent $49.50. I'm not at all pleased. I will no longer patronize this place.

This is my second time trying this restaurant, and this is my second time getting sick after eating here. The first time I thought it was just a coincidence, but clearly it wasn’t. I had the steamed shrimp and noodles and got sick immediately after. At this point, I’m genuinely concerned about how thoroughly the food is being prepared. It feels rushed, and food safety shouldn’t be compromised just to push orders out. If you don’t want to risk getting sick, I would not recommend eating here.

The food looks good. Looks can however be deceiving. I came here with a friend in honor of my birthday and the food was atrocious. Sooo bad that I got sick as well as 3 others in my party. I highly do not recommend this place as well as tables were left unclean!
