First, the staffs are really nice :) Second, I am glad that during this pandemic they are opened till 10.30 pm because I finish work 2 hours before they close and they are also following the rules. Third, I decided to give this place a shot because the pho place I used to go to closes early and so here I am. Honestly their foods are great. Can’t really go wrong with it. I love Pho but I decided to try their other dishes instead of my regular (#1 from menu). I was not disappointed at all. I love their Beef cubes and Calamari is just spot on. The fried rice and bbq beef was just toooo good. Seasoned really well. Was definitely worth the money. If you want something light on the side, try their Calamari. Will continue to post more pics when I try their other dishes :)

Affordable price, soup base is okay but the meat keeps the crown for me. It is tender and melts in the mouth, even the tripe and other parts. They also have delish spring roll on the house that night. Hopefully business picks up after covid!

I had a great 4-star experience at Pho 86! The atmosphere was a total standout, earning a perfect 5-star rating for its excellent vibe. Both the food and the service were also very good, each earning a solid 4-star rating. It is a wonderful local spot for a delicious meal in a fantastic environment!

Prices are reasonable and the food quality is very good. The coffee is rich and aromatic, full of flavor. The Vietnamese sandwich is generously stuffed and tastes amazing — just make sure to eat it right away, as it’s best enjoyed fresh and warm. The beef pho is tasty, though the noodles have a slight starchy flavor and could be a bit softer for a smoother texture. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy and delicious, and the pork is flavorful and tender. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience — great food, good value, and definitely worth coming back for!

Service can always be better but food is good and the prices are decent for what you do get. You guys could use some music in the store, I have been here 3-4 times and you guys never have any music to uplift the resturant or mood. Overall price is good for what you get, authentic Vietnamese food.

Been here twice. Got there and was seated right away. Food came out quite quickly. Spring rolls were good, just that the dipping sauce was not generous enough. Ordered the cold noodles and had to ask for more sauces, total of 2cups of sauces for each cold noodles. The beef cubes were good and tender. Very efficient staff in cleaning up our table.

I recommend this Vietnamese restaurant in Brooklyn. We ordered a total of six dishes: -#1 Xu Lua: the broth was delicious with reasonably sized pieces of meat. -#30 Spring Roll: They were tasty, although a bit smaller than what I'm used to. -#47 Papaya Shrimp Salad w. Peanut: The dish had a perfect amount of shrimp, but unfortunately, the green papaya portion was inadequate. The container wasn't even half-filled compared to the rice. -#R2 Grilled Pork Chop, Shredded Pork, Pork Skin Over Rice: The pork chop marinade was wasn't very noticeable, but it could use more grilling to bring out the characteristic flavour. -#R9 BBQ Beef Short Rib Over Rice: the short rib was quite good. -#R17, Chicken with Green Pepper, Onion & Lemongrass in Chili Sauce Over Rice: Despite requesting it without chili, it turned out to be spicy. Overall, the food was quite good, and the prices were reasonable except for the spring rolls and papaya salad. I highly recommend trying #1 and #R9

Late night Pho with my girlfriends and the service was very nice and attentive. Pork chop wasnt too flavorful but with a dip in sauce it helped. Broth was clean and just right. Jalapeños we love!! Noodles were a bit too soft and the meats were kind of dry tho. Pancake is awesome huge shrimps and crispy edges. Love the spring rolls. It was nice and not too thick. Coffee and rainbow ice were veryy good! Bathroom (2). Smaller one is boxy.

A good place for me to grab lunch with coworkers during work. I usually order pickup and it is usually ready within 15 minutes, which is very convenient for me. Their food is decent and their service isn't bad. Pricing-wise is reasonable too. I usually get the first pho on their menu... the special beef noodle soup(?). It comes with all the beef as well as the small pieces of tendon as well, which some other viet places don't include in their pho anymore... Their other noodles are good too. The regular vermicelli noodles with either grilled pork chop, spring roll or chicken all are pretty good as well. Overall, a good place to go to for some fast food. 👍

Food was subpar and less flavorful than other places I’ve tried in NYC (mainly Manhattan), but may be comparable to other Vietnamese places nearby. Service was great and staff were quick to explain menu items.

I’ve given this place multiple chances, but every time I’ve come, there’s been some kind of bug in my food. It’s really disappointing and makes me question the cleanliness here. The food itself doesn’t taste very authentic compared to other Vietnamese spots I’ve tried. On top of that, the servers aren’t very friendly, which makes the whole experience even less enjoyable.

I went to this place expecting some good, authentic Vietnamese food, but I left severely disappointed by not only the food and unhygienic environment but the horrendous customer service. Even if they paid me to come back, I wouldn't for multiple reasons but especially because the way I was treated was absolutely degrading. The counter person and the waiter were so disrespectful like they treated me as if I weren't a person capable of understanding them. They were very bossy and insisted that I couldn't sit anywhere else other than where they let me despite there being many open tables just like the one they ordered me to sit at. Not only that but they also denied the fact that my order wasn't the one I ordered when it was completely different. The ingredients were not the same at all, and it's the fact that they were dishonest that makes me NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. Also, I didn't expect outstanding service but at very least some decent human courtesy like a greeting, but I didn't even get that. They didn't even give a proper response when I asked questions, and their service was very rushed even though right after they brought the food to my table, they went back to sit behind the counter. Plus, they're VERY UNHYGIENIC. I was barely able to find a good set of chopsticks as most of them had stains or some sort of food dried up on them like green stuff. If you want to eat at a place where you're able to relax and get the food down without worrying about the germs you're about to digest, DO NOT go to this place for your own safety.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Never and I mean never go here. Food is bland and the portion ratio of meat and noodles are not worth the amount of money it cost. The food is not prepared with the proper ingredients. They cheap out by using different ingredients that make the food taste worse. But most of all the service was disgusting. Terrible attitude. The old Dora haircut looking female and short balding male had terrible attitude. The male and female would both yell at you very disrespectful. They choose whether they want to respond to you, either they ignore you or they would yell at you, for example if you asked for an extra bowl or fork they would begrudgingly get it and yell at you. Especially if you don’t understand their language don’t bother coming here they will yell berating you for not understanding them. It is very humiliating. They also wouldn’t let you sit where you want to sit even though there were barely anyone in the restaurant. The place is dirty, stains everywhere. Table and menu is sticky and unclean. The utensils are stained and have food stuck on it. They also overcharge you by a couple dollars hoping you won't notice. 0/5 don’t waste your money at Pho 86.
