Avis sur Sushi Lin Brooklyn
Delicious and very fresh! and the atmosphere is fantastic. Great prices as well. Under 100$ for me and my partner, including drinks. I was surprised! Will be back
Had the sushi dinner which included a miso soup, 9pc sushi, and 1 roll. Every single piece was fresh and amazing. The otoro is always a fave. I will say this wasn’t super filling meal, so we ordered a 10pc omakase after to share (among 2). Pictured is half of the omakase and the flavors were incredible. Absolute must-try. Also tried a wagyu nigiri - worth it! Service was fast and friendly - will certainly be back.
Sushi Lin is the real deal! The service is always attentive, and Chef Lenny never misses — from the appetizers to the rolls, sashimi, and especially his full omakase set. The fish is unbelievably fresh, the ingredients top-notch, and every bite bursts with flavor. The richness of the fish honestly feels like being back in Japan. Do yourself a favor and ask for Lenny’s special (see photo). It’s unforgettable and might just ruin all other sushi for you — in the best way possible. I can’t get enough of this spot!
We just had a lovely experience at Sushi Lin, we sat at the counter for our anniversary dinner and it was all around a wonderful experience. Even though we waited a little longer than seemed normal (not the fault of the staff) they more than made up for it with their generous service and wonderful meal! We both opted for The fish was fresh, each piece balanced and unique. The uni, scallop and the tuna belly were a standout, but everything felt perfect. Highly recommend and will be back!
everything we tried was amazing, they also have a wide sake menu which we loved. i would suggest booking the bar table. the atmoshphere is 4 due to the music (pop music which didnt match the vibe/food) also there is a room divider in the middle which doesnt make sense and made out table feel outside of the main part.
came here not knowing it was a local chain but the quality of the sushi was astounding and full of flavor and freshness. had the miso soup, the oyster sampler whose lead every oyster server should follow with the sauce within oyster shell and superb quality, along with maki rolls include salmon avocado - my fave, eel avocado, and negi toro - wifes fave. highly recommend
Sushi Lin was absolutely incredible! Hands down the best omakase experience I’ve ever had. Every piece was expertly crafted, with the freshest fish and perfect rice. The flavors were delicate yet bold, and each bite was a work of art. The chefs were skilled and attentive, creating a truly immersive experience. The service was flawless—friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If you’re looking for top-tier sushi, Sushi Lin is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely my favorite place for sushi. When you order the omakase you aren't just served different cuts of fish you may be familiar with like bluefin tuna but rather get a series of carefully crafted pieces combining flavors you'd never expect. Whenever friends visit New York, I always suggest Sushi Lin
Went here for our wedding anniversary. This will be a mixed review. In terms of price, this place is pretty good-on the medium side our total bill pre-gratuity was around $210 and we had a lot of food. I reserved on the counter as I wanted to see the sushi chefs and feel out the vibe. I wasn’t impressed as there was very minimum chatter between chefs and guests. As far as the food-it was phenomenal, it was fresh and tasteful. As far as the service goes, I’d give this place a solid 3 stars. We were not checked in on, we also had to wait for a food 15-20 minutes after I gave my card as the processing machine had an issue. Not very professional, even though at least 2 people who worked there came to us to let us know that there were issues.
I was craving for good quality sushi but was not hungry enough. I knew I wanted to do omakase but didn’t want to get a full one especially knowing that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy all without feeling too stuffed. At Sushi Lin, you can get a mini omakase! So I ordered a mini omakase which came with 5 pieces of sushi and a hand roll. I also ordered an uni tasting. Everything was perfect! It was just the right amount of food that satisfied me and I did not feel too full. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed the charred tomato over salmon. I’m totally getting a torch to char tomatoes from now on! 😄
Wandered in at 6:15 on a Sunday with no reservation. Got a table no problem, but that’s not to say this place wasn’t bustling, because it is obviously popular. Cozy, with friendly waitstaff. Extensive sake list- though I had a cold Sapporo instead. Tables were tight, but we were seated near a screen which offered some privacy, which was nice. Ordered the tuna flight to share, plus a roll. Pieces weren’t large, but fish was dress and delicious. Especially liked the smoky tuna. (Never had that before: try it!). Only took off a star because I love inari, and they looked at me like I was crazy for asking for it. Oh well! We would go back.
Sushi Lin has unbeatable price, 70$, for 10 pieces Omakase. Nigiri tasted fresh and delicious. I especially loved the fatty tuna with uni and caviar, uni tank, and seared salmon nigiri. Their octopus (appetizer) was really fresh and tasty too. I took away one star because the seaweed salad is too salty. Also, I wish they have fried food options like Karage.
