Tasty food! We travel to Washington DC and on the way home to Atlanta, just noon time we passing by here and we came in this restaurant. My son ordered shrimp fried rice, my husband ordered shrimp fried rice noodles and I ordered roast pork with mushrooms, they all good and yummy, even my husband told me his fried noodles was good he likes his food 👍. Especially the rice is super good, they used good rice for business 👍 and taste so yummy. My daughter ordered chicken wings, I would say it was super tasty, my daughter only 6 and she almost finished the big plate wings , and I tasted it, it's really good. I highly recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.
The food is so good, not your normal Chinese restaurant, it's packed differently and the fried stuff is always crispy, especially the egg rolls and chicken wings. This is THE Chinese food spot
Very good quality, fast easy place... Very friendly stuff! Lady is very nice, one day I left my wallet with money on it and she returned everything... saved my life!

Delicious food, great customer service, and very affordable prices. Plus it's right next to the busses and trains! My go to spot.
Felt right at home. The staff was really nice and very accomodating to dietary needs. Food is amazing. Don't sleep on this spot.
Typical takeout spot but the service is on point. They treat you well and with respect and not only that, the food is amazing as well. Made fresh and with a speed to match it. The flavor of the food is consistent as well. I always order from them without worrying about a thing!
Food is delicious!!!! I to this place looking for a a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed! The food tasted amazing and the wait was very little. Definitely check this place out if you want some fast delicious food!
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the food was simply amazing. The dumplings were a highlight, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. If you want delicious Chinese food and top-notch service, Taste of China is the place to go!
I have been going to Taste of China in Bay Ridge for almost four years. It is close to my home, the food is consistent, and convenience made it easy to overlook behavior that I should not have tolerated for as long as I did. The woman with the glasses who usually answers the phone and takes orders has had an attitude from the beginning. Not occasionally. Consistently. She cuts you off mid-sentence and speaks as if every interaction is an inconvenience. For example, I will begin ordering, “Shrimp and broccoli with” and before I can finish she interrupts with “Small or large?” I respond, “Combination,” and then she says, complete the order.” I would have completed the order if she had not cut me off in the first place. This happens regularly. My wife noticed it years ago and stopped going because she has little tolerance for that kind of treatment. I continued to go because I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I assumed she was busy. I assumed maybe she was overwhelmed. I even told myself that perhaps this was just a cultural difference in communication style. There are places where the staff is blunt or loud and I accept that. I made excuses for her for nearly four years. This week made it clear that it is not cultural bluntness. It is simple disrespect. I called to place a pickup order. She began reading my delivery address back to me. I calmly said this was for pickup, not delivery. She responded by rushing me and saying, “Okay, go ahead, go ahead,” followed by, “Tell me what you want,” as if I had created the confusion. She made the mistake and treated me as though I was the problem. When I went to pick up the food, I said hello. She did not respond. She said only, “Ready,” referring to my order. I thanked her and asked how she was. After almost four years of consistent business, her response was, “I don’t want to talk. Just pay.” I told her that this would be the last time I come in. I explained that I have always been polite and courteous and that I have ignored her tone for years, assuming she was having a bad day or dealing with stress. I was even extra nice at times, thinking maybe kindness would soften things. At some point, however, a bad day becomes a personality trait. She did not respond. I asked for duck sauce and condiments. She ignored me. I asked again. She said, “Which ones?” I always say two of everything, for four years. I am a pescatarian and I order the same meal almost every time. The menu shows items like crab cakes and fish that they do not actually carry, so I stick to shrimp and broccoli or, on rare occasions, vegetable fried rice with baby shrimp. I do not vary my order. For four years it has essentially been the same. Yet every time, even after clearly saying two of everything, she asks which ones. There is also the issue of the card charges. About six months ago, I noticed that when I paid with my debit card, the total increased far beyond the posted percentage. A meal that was about $10.80 became over $12. That’s around 13%. That is not 3 percent. (I believe it is now 4% though) When I pointed it out, she corrected it. Since then, her attitude toward me has noticeably worsened. I cannot say with certainty what motivated it, but it is difficult not to suspect she was irritated that someone checked the math and she could no longer quietly add whatever she felt like adding. For anyone paying by card, do the calculation yourself and make sure the percentage added matches what is posted. There is another gentleman there who occasionally handles orders. When he does, the interaction is respectful and calm. The contrast between the two could not be clearer. I stayed because it was convenient. I overlooked behavior I should not have accepted. Being told, “I don’t want to talk. Just pay,” after years of being a polite and consistent customer was the final line. I will not be returning.
Hard no on this place. I ordered house special soup and fried rice for delivery last night, which I wouldn’t have done but I have a bad cold and my go-to place is closed on Wednesday. Lukewarm upon arrival, ate half last night, felt queasy but chalked it up to being sick. Barfed an hour after eating reheated leftover soup tonight, plan to chuck the rice. I’m not a complainer and don’t ordinarily bother posting negative reviews but it was too unpleasant not to.
The worse possible service ever. This is a restaurant I order from all the time only because it’s the only half decent Chinese restaurant in the area and the food still sucks. Today I stopped in asked for a paper plate so I can eat a healthy home made salad on the bus on the way to work and the lady who is always at the front counter refused to give me unless I paid .50 cents. Straights up said no after pleading with the her that I just ran off the bus and left my wallet in bag and ran back in and she still refused. After spending hundreds of dollars there. I’m just disappointed but not shocked. People stop wasting your money here. I only ever got the wings because I knew it contained bones. All the other meat there is very much questionable. Cook AT HOME OR SHOP ELSE. They do not give a … about you. They are only there to suck the money out of the community. What have they ever done for the community. Have the ever gave back? They don’t even eat their own food so WHY WOULD ANYONE CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR GENERATIONAL WEALTH.
