Avis sur Ten-Ichi Ramen Brooklyn
Delicious ramen in a cozy little restaurant. I got the Spicy Veggie Ramen, it was deliciously sweet and spicy at the same time (spicy because of the miso, sweet because of the coconut milk). The restaurant is small but cozy and warm, the waiter was nice and friendly. I used the toilet and it was very clean. Great value for money too, for lunch they run the lunch menu.
The food here is amazing for a regular ramen store. I really advise you to eat here, Thank you Ten-Ichi Ramen
This might be best ramen I have ever had. Noodles fresh and home made, beef broth delicious. Also got a chicken bun - so yum!!! The only downside was we waited a long time for our food and were in a rush so perhaps don’t go if you have time sensitive plans after dinner. But it was so worth the wait.
There is a reason this spot has maintained its 4.8 raring with over 2k reviews. The ramen is excellent, it's in the top 3 of ramen I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend. I really like the teichi ramen, looking forward to returning to try other types of ramen.
I’ve been hunting for a spot that takes vegetarian ramen seriously, and Tenichi is officially my new go-to. I usually have to go to NYC (Ippudo/Spicy Moon) for this level of flavor. Order the Spicy Curry Veggie Ramen. The broth is actually rich and creamy with a serious kick—not just watery vegetable soup like other places serve. The fried tofu and corn soak up the curry flavor perfectly. If you are vegetarian and crave actual spice, this is the hidden gem you’ve been looking for.
The ramen here is different than most places as they make the broth from scratch without using artificial soup bases. I usually get the spicy beef ramen and tenichi ramen. Both are great choices if you don’t know what to get. Amazing service too. Highly recommend!!!
Wow! I must say this place has the best beef ramen! That sliced beef was insanely delicious! I actually got two bowls of the same ramen myself. Medium spicy and great flavor! Service was attentive and friendly! They also have kids ramen so highly recommend if you have kids!
We came late after the movie and the server still allowed us to order for take out. The food was fresh and delicious. I like the tenichi ramen and tan tan ramen. So gooooood!!! The fried chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. No complaints and I will definitely be back.
Unassuming place, kind of hidden in Park Slope where there are a few ramen restaurants in the area but this one is my favorite! Very rich beef broth with the perfect amount of spice. The sliced beef was so tender and had that smoky flavor that made me want more and more. Very unique homemade broth. 😋. 10/10!
A solid ramen spot. As a ramen fan, I 100% can tell this spot makes its own broth. Most ramen spots I have been to taste somehow similar as they use soup bases from the same manufacturer. The broth here is unique and not super salty. The pork gyoza and karaage chicken were delicious and highly recommended. But the spicy beef ramen and tenichi ramen are the stars of this place! Will be back.
The server at Tenichi was very respectful and attentive. He always gave warnings for the spice level of the food or how certain drinks may taste. He told me that the matcha here was more bitter than elsewhere. I appreciated that so much. The food here is also amazing. I think my favorite is the miso salmon ramen. The broth had so much flavor and even the spice wasn’t too much. Would go here again with my friends.
Food was fantastic. The owner was our server and he was great. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and good. The chicken curry was perfectly crunchy and the sauce was great. The pork and chicken buns were top notch. Their Ramen was wonderful and they were completely finished. Great food, presentation, and atmosphere. Would recommend

Absolute favorite ramen place! We will easily make the 15 minute walk to get the ten ichi ramen. The chicken katsu is also delicious. Super friendly service too!!
Great vegetarian options and very flavorful ramen. The veggie bun was my favorite! And if you like spicy food, ask for the hot sauce.
Despite some unconventional toppings—like cilantro in ramen—the broth is actually quite good. The noodles are firm and bouncy, not overcooked at all. The chicken, however, is pretty disappointing and easily skippable. It’s a cozy little spot overall, but don’t come expecting traditional ramen—you’ll likely be let down. Think of it more as a solid, comforting noodle soup rather than a classic ramen experience.
Food was great, the new spicy miso ramen highly recommended. Service was good too, but i was also the only guest. The space itself is okay, not top notch but clean.
I've recently developed a new affection for ramen and have been exploring various places in New York and New Jersey. It's wonderful to have so many flavors to try and enjoy. On a particularly cold day, we decided to try some ramen in Brooklyn. We had read great reviews about a certain place, which was enough to entice us. I ordered the chicken ramen and tenichi ramen as appetizers, along with veggie gyoza and shrimp tempura. Unfortunately, the chicken ramen didn’t meet my expectations; it tasted more like chicken soup and lacked a deep flavor. However, the tenichi ramen was much better. The veggie gyoza and shrimp tempura were also quite good. We ordered some green tea, but it was just regular bagged tea. I wasn't a fan of it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place had a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was also clean. One important note: they only accept cash. You can use Venmo or Zelle, or there’s an ATM available if you need to withdraw cash for your meal.
We got takeout from here recently and really enjoyed it, my absolute favorite was the chicken bun. The chicken was nice and crispy and I loved the spicy sauce and toppings, really packed a punch for …
I think I am missing seaweed+taste in my ramen - this is my personal critique, ramen must have seaweed (maybe it was probably on the “add-on” list). I got the tenichi ramen, chicken ramen for the kid, and spicy beef ramen for the wifey. Delicious.
I’ve eaten here and gotten take out also many times over the years. And I generally like the ramen very much. I get either the Ten Ichi Ramen or the Rayu Beef Ramen but lean toward the Rayu Beef. Today, I got the Rayu Beef and it was so spicy that it was inedible. I could not tolerate it and, mind you, I’ve had this exact same dish at this place many times. I did not ask for it to be extra spicy and the only extra I ordered was baby spinach. We returned it but it turned me off to ramen that day. What a drag. And they told me it’s always that spicy which is BS bc I’ve had that dish close to ten times. Be forewarned.
It's ok but I got take out so the soup got kinda cold. But it could be better hot. Seemed kinda small portion though. It was ok but not jumping up n down over..

Food is okay from delivery. It is more Chinese ramen than japanese ramen spot. It does the job of getting you a bowl of noodles and some broth but nothing to write home about.

Went for lunch special. Ten ichi ramen was mid. Not a lot of soup and soup itself was bland. Pork gyoza was mind and soggy. \n\nQuick service though so a reasonable spot for quick lunch. \n\nDoes n…

This place used to be awesome. We loved it and went back at least once a week. Over the last 12 months or so, it has really gone downhill, which is very sad. I think it started when they began opening other locations, but I can’t say that for certain. In any case, wish it would go back to the way it was :(
I honestly don’t know how this place is listed as “top rated.” I know there are some Japanese restaurants run by Chinese owners that still manage to serve good or at least decent Japanese food but this one is by far the worst. The noodles were terrible, harder than the ones I’ve bought from JMart and cooked myself at home. The soup came with 2 pieces of char siu, half a soy marinated egg, and two pieces of bok choy and two wood ear mushrooms, which reminded me of Fujian style noodles. Even the soy marinated egg was a fail. The appetizer fried chicken was worse than what you’d get at a random Chinese fast food place. Totally not worth the price and the only reason they can charge this much is because the restaurant is in the Prospect area. The only positive was the waitress. She was nice though not very attentive. The payment system was also a mess. They said I could pay by cash, Venmo, or Zelle, so I chose Zelle, but it was hectic and confusing. They really need to provide clear instructions if they want customers to pay that way. Overall, not recommended.
Im a ramen junkie, and love to try different ramen shops all over the world. I have decided to give it a shot after seeing all the high stars rating but........ Spoiler alert: Noodle grading Max 3-4/10 Appetizer: Karaage Fried Chicken Potion was small, breading too thick Taste: It's just ok, but it was juicy Ramen: Tenichi Ramen (pork bone broth) Soup: lacks richness/thickness and flavor Noodle: generic yellow wavy noodles 🤔 Topping: normal, chashiu is okay. Garlic oil was used to compensate for the lack of actual pork bone flavor... TanTan Ramen: lacks its suppose tantan taste and flavor. Soup is very, very thin again, not rich at all. Generic wavy noodles Topping: Naruto was present....a big minus for me 😔(strictly personal preference) Honest opinion: For people who have never tried rich and flavorful japanese ramen, this place can be good. However, if you are a ramen Junkie like myself, you will be very, very, very disappointed. You can usually tell if the shop spent the time preparing the soup base and the tare. The soup doesn't necessarily have to be thick and rich in all the shops but I didn't even taste any pork bone flavor other ppl stated either. So for all the Ramen Junkies just save yourself a trip and try other places. For the business owner There are many tutorials even on YouTube on how to cook up a proper pork bone soup base and Tare. If you really want ppl to have an authentic taste of ramen noodle. Please use the time and effort to make an actual rich and flavorful soup. I don't think it takes that much more time and money from what you are spending now already.

I wondered why the Ramen shop across the street was full while this one had two people. Nevermind the ravings reviews. Maybe I’m spoiled by good Ramen in Bellevue, WA. But NYC should have great ramen. This is pedestrian ramen. The flavor is bland and the serving size meager. I added pictures so you can appreciate the deceitful nature of the chicken serving. Match stick size so that an already poor serving size looks bigger. Can’t be more than 2 oz. Hope this review prompts management to be better people.
⭐ 1 Star — Gaslighted Over Ramen Ten-Ichi Ramen, Brooklyn, NY Brunch maybe? Sure. But lunch was unprofessional at scale. I ordered karaage and asked for lemon—basic, standard, respectful gesture toward flavor. The waitress looked at me like I’d asked for moon cheese. When I said I wanted it, she warned, “It’ll be sour.” As if I didn’t know what lemon was for. Then, the bigger issue: the ramen. The noodles were plies away from fully cooked—raw in the center, the kind of bite that makes your jaw do push-ups. When I said that, she flat-out confirmed, “Yeah, it’s undercooked…” then immediately backpedaled: “But that’s how it’s supposed to be.” No apology, no offer to fix it—just altitude of arrogance. I asked for it to be removed from my bill. She resisted. Eventually I said, “Fine—take it off. I’m done.” Checked out early, asked to pay only for what was acceptable—end of story. This isn’t earned irreverence. It’s careless contempt. A ramen place should serve food not philosophy. If you want ramen done right—and staff with basic courtesy—skip Ten-Ichi.
