Dropped my phone on the street a few blocks away. Minutes later I get an e-mail about it. Someone working at the restaurant grabbed it off the street and held onto it for me. I got my phone back including the $100 bill I keep behind the case. I tried to give him a reward for finding him and he absolutely refused. The NICEST people work at this restaurant and the food is great too. I've had the chicken teriyaki, Thai pancakes, spicy salmon roll, yaki soba noodles, gyoza, etc. and never been disappointed. Eat here!

The food is cheap and amazing!! This is the best sushi/sashimi i've had and great quality. It melts in your mouth. The food comes out so quickly! Its so nice and clean inside. The people are friendly and welcoming. Definitely will eat there again when i'm back in NY!!

I love the shrimp fried rice at this location. It was amazing and one of the best dishes I've had compared to other Japanese restaurants. I also tried the chicken terriakyi which was great as well. I wish there was a wider variety of drinks, however overall Tomo is a great spot.

Got a sweet tooth for fried icecream, want some scallion pancakes, or some sushi. Very good. Only place I know of that makes fried icecream. I give it a 4 because it's a tad expensive but most of all... they stopped making my favorite dish, Mango Girl! Mango girl = shrimp with mango slices drizzled with sweet n sour sauce over white rice. Simple but it hit the spot. Maybe if more folks ask for it they'll bring it back.

I have to recommend the Bumble Bee roll nothing like I've seen at any other place I loved it.. pricing but for its location and good service a good choice to dine in.

Slow service, I had to ask for a person to come several times. It was 4 people and they automatically include 18% tip.. they say it’s automatic and they ask to play through Zelle. (The Zelle is also extra cost) And they have audacity to have suggested tip below. Sleezy I don’t know something is off. Lots of sus.

I have ordered there for many years and it was great. But recently for the FIRST time in my life I have been served slightly rotten fish in a tuna roll and needless to say I can never go back to tomo. Guys: quality control!

Calamari was alarming- large rings of imitation something with the consistency of plastic, a rubber taste, and stretchy exterior covered in breadcrumbs. Will never trust this restaurant again

Unprofessional and unwelcoming. I went to dine in at this establishment, only to be rudely sat by a woman in the front, who I assume was a manager as well as cashier, and then completely ignored for over 10 minutes. There was no excuse for that since the restaurant was completely empty, aside from a delivery guy picking up food. This not how you treat people coming to support your business. I have never experienced that before and will never step foot in this travesty of a restaurant again.

Overpriced for a low quality sushi restaurant. Portions are half the size compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. Rude and careless owner. I had an issue with my order and they refused to make it right. Disappointing because I live in the area and had been here a handful of times before. However, I was ripped off and brought it to their attention and they said "too bad". I will not come back here again. Really bad management and service.

The food is decent but not worth the support of a restaurant who has a female manager/cashier who is rude, not courteous, unfriendly, and disrespectful. During these times when people are trying to support local businesses, there is no excuse to support a business with a manager yelling at customers during pickup orders for inquiring why the price on the menu doesn’t reflect what’s being charged. This restaurant charges an up charge when paying with your debit/credit card and pretends as if the prices on the actual menu only apply if you’re paying cash, in which they call a “discounted price”

Went there for lunch but was charged for a dinner entree. Both are supposed to come with a miso soup or salad. Didn't receive either of them. When I questioned the bill where I was clearly charged more than I should've been, she told me she charged me the dinner price because i didn't say "lunch". It was 12:35pm. I said I ordered from the lunch menu and it's in the specified lunch hours. (The menu says their lunch is from 12pm-3pm.) She said "well you didn't say 'lunch' so you got the dinner entree. It was just so crazy and upsetting, to say the least. Will never go back.

She took my order charged my card and ended the call...all great to this point. 2 min later I get a call from a different person that tells me they are busy and won't deliver since it's far (they deliverd my address just 3 days ago). When I mentioned that she didn't care. Now I'm stuck, since they charged my card and I don't have enough bal. To order from a different place. When I mentioned that fact, she couldn't care less. This was my last time ordering from them. When Covid hit hard, they were asking to support the small restaurants... I wonder what would they say the next time they will need help from their patrons...good luck with that
