Avis sur Patina 250 Buffalo
Great first time experience for myself and my family. Visited my younger siblings who go to university upstate for my birthday and found Patina 250! We were only able to make lunch but would’ve loved to try their dinner menu. We walked through the Westin entrance and rounded the corner to the entrance of Patina. We were immediately greeted and sat at a nice round table by the window. It offered a nice view of the beautiful kitchen as well. They knew we were celebrating a birthday and had a custom made card at the table. Our server was very sweet and polite. She was attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious as well. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and Patina house rolls for appetizers. The bread was absolutely fresh and delicious. It came with a side of their maple butter. For lunch, we ordered the sea bass, lobster roll, steak frites, poke bowl, and the squid ink torchietti. For desserts I ordered the tiramisu. My family ordered the daily selection of ice cream and the matcha cheesecake. Our server even took care of my dessert as a birthday gift. Gratuity was already included as our party was a size of six. I still tipped a bit extra as she was so kind. When I were to visit my siblings again, I’ll be sure to get a room in the Westin next time so I can visit the restaurant too!
Went to Patina 250 for date night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time eating dinner there. Our server was very nice. Every part of our meal was served to us very timely. We did not feel rushed. The atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. The only entrance into the restaurant is in the westin hotel, just so you're prepared.
Patina 250 does it again.. Every time I’ve been here they know my meal choice out of the park. Service comes with a smile. From the Colombe coffee they serve to the desert menu, I will be back and you should go too.
Steak was top tier. Server had everything out very timely.
Such an amazing experience here, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Great food suggestions, drink pairings, and a lovely card and complimentary champagne for my anniversary! Highly recommend this place.
I had a wonderful time at my birthday brunch!! The food was delicious and the service attentive without interrupting. I'm not sure when I'll be back in town, but I want to come back already!! My favorite was the stuffed French toast. This is an actual, untouched photo that I took. It was even more delicious than it looked!
If Notre Dame football were a brunch, it’d be served at Patina 250—timeless, high-powered, and executed with championship precision. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was walking into Notre Dame Stadium on game day: classy, electric, and ready for something special. I started with a whiskey—smooth, bold, and full of depth, just like CJ Carr under center. Each sip had the confidence of a 3rd and long conversion in the fourth quarter. Then came the Bottomless Mimosa, which set the pace like a well-called opening drive—bright, crisp, and impossible to put down. Then came the playmakers. The Pastrami & Hash was the kind of dish you build an offense around—thick-cut, smoky pastrami layered over perfectly crispy hash. Every bite was packed with flavor, like a power run behind a dominant O-line. It had grit, balance, and left nothing on the plate—Brian Kelly would’ve called it “assignment correct.” But the real Heisman moment? Brioche French Toast. Pillowy-soft, golden on the outside, and subtly sweet. It had the finesse of a 50-yard pass to the corner of the end zone. Topped with syrup and powdered sugar, it was a sweet victory on every level—Rudy-level feel-good. Patina 250 isn’t just another brunch spot. It’s Notre Dame-level greatness. The attention to detail, the bold flavors, and the flawless execution reminded me of those unforgettable Saturdays in South Bend. This is food made with heart, passion, and just the right amount of swagger. Like Marcus Freeman building a powerhouse, Patina 250 is crafting something special—one dish at a time. So if you're a Fighting Irish fan—or just someone who appreciates excellence—this is your spot. Halos all around. 🥃🍳🍞🏈☘️
Seating was quick on a Friday evening 8pm. Waitress Ruth was kind and welcoming. Quickly to refill drinks. Three chefs at the open kitchen were in sync with each other. Great to watch them create the dishes and team work with smiles. Dinner was exquisite. We shared the rolls, blended butter was a perfect start. Baby gem salad well tossed with just the right amount of dressing throughout. Rigatoni was superb. Has a little spice kick which we loved.
Relaxing Lunch Experience I had a lovely lunch at Patina 250. The restaurant had a calm and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a relaxing midday break. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was excellent. It's a great spot for a leisurely lunch with friends or colleagues. Patina 250's Grilled Chicken Bowl is a must-try! The flavors were incredibly vibrant and fresh. I loved the variety of textures, from the crisp romaine to the creamy hummus and feta. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy, and the lemon vinaigrette tied everything together beautifully. It's a healthy and satisfying lunch option. The presentation was also lovely. A great experience overall!
We decided to come here last minute the morning of Monday 02/10/25 as a way to celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary for our marriage along with our two boys. Karen our waitress (ironic name given the circumstances) was phenomenal. Firstly the free valet parking was a nice touch and a great coincidence for the occasion. As I arrived earlier I noted that the cheery hostess took my coat and put it away and handed me a redemption ticket (very nice). As I got seated Karen came over and introduced herself, placing a hand drawn happy anniversary card for us on the table which was great! After I explained the situation to her Karen was gracious enough to play along and I had her take the jewelry I bought my wife and tuck it away so she could bring it out later when I signaled. As my wife arrived with our boys I noted the exceptional kids menu set for my oldest and the awesome coloring activities they had including the premium crayola crayons they provided as well. We haven’t even gotten to order the food and this place already blew us away. We ordered the food and all of it was to DIE for! Karen comped our Champagne for us, put on a great show for delivering the jewelry and even the desert at the end came with a nice little sparkler stick trick. Throughout the night she was wholly attentive and aware of our needs even while managing the other tables. The food was absolutely 5-Star quality and the decision to put the chefs names on the menu was an appreciated touch. Clearly this restaurant knows what its vision is and what experience it aims to provide and they execute it on a whole nother level. 15/10 we will be back! Thank you again especially to Karen! Please give that lady a much deserved kudos and a raise! -The Vorhis Family
Absolutely fantastic first experience at Patina 250. Cannot say enough good things about our server John who took exceptional care of us and made some really good recommendations. Smaller upscale restaurant that is not pretentious or overly priced. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to come back!
The Sunday brunch here was totally awesome! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our food came out fast, and it was delicious. The Croque Madame was a game-changer—the bread was crispy, and the sauce was amazing. The Eggs Benedict was also top-notch. If you're looking for a great brunch spot, this is the place.
I’ve driven by Patina 250 more times than I can count. To be honest, I didn’t even recognize that the restaurant was in the building. First of all, the building, hotel, and restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It’s modern and very clean. The service staff was very attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The food was outstanding! I ordered the chef’s special Seafood Pasta,, which was reasonably priced. Having tasted some of the other dishes at the table, they were all presented well and delicious. We’ll definitely be back, not only for the food, but also for the ambience and service.
Wanted to try a new place. We were walk it's, which was no problem. But we were seated in the bar dinning area. Next time I am making reservations. Food is so dang delicous, I am at a loss for words. I would rate it a 6. My only slight complaint was my filet was very rare, ordered medium. Besides this, we tried multiple items, Buffalo Cauliflower, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Baby Carrots, Citrus & Beet Salad, Filet's dinners & Squash Ravioli's!!!! Every single item was Devine & Delicious!! There was no salt or pepper on the table, the reason? The food speaks for itself, every item has its own special flavor & it is not needed. My advice, booked your reservation, for your special night. You will not be disappointed or dissatisfied. I would recommend every item i mentioned!! Even though my filet was a little rare, they rectified the situation immediately. I will be back & can't wait to try something new!!
What a meal. The wife and I started with the octopus. This was the best octopus we have ever had. It was tender and very delicious. It was so good we ordered another one after our entrée. My wife had the duck. It was well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The sweet potato puree it was served on was a perfect pairing. I had the lobster risotto. The risotto was perfectly prepared. I only wish there was a bit more lobster and not chopped up, I would have preferred some bigger slices. The waiter, John, was very nice. My only complaint about the whole experience was the lack of attention from our waiter. In my opinion, he had too many tables to be more attentive to each. My wife and I had our appetizer before we had our cocktails. The desserts were a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Overall, Patina 250 impressed me as a whole. This is a perfect restaurant for anniversaries, birthdays, or special events.
Visited during Restaurant Week. The service was excellent our waiter was very attentive. Food was very good Brussels sprouts were a little overcooked and removed from the bill. Buffalo cauliflower was the best I’ve ever had !! The gemelli mushroom pasta dish was good but the spinach pasta itself was a little bland. The chocolate cake was a nice way to end the meal. Overall I would go back.
This restaurant is located inside of Westin Hotel. Interior decor is quite pleasant with very inviting ambiance. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. A little overpriced for the quantity but overall was worth a short trip to downtown Buffalo. We tried braised short rib and Scottish salmon. Recommend both dishes.
We were there for brunch with a group of friends. Not busy but we couldn't be seated until all 6 were there. Hostesses were a bit gruff. Sevice was slow but our waitress was great. 4 of us ordered eggs benedict which I LOVE but not here. Eggs were over done and not enough hollandaise sauce. Very disappointing
Went for brunch on a Sunday as a 2 top under Mary with my friend. My friend and I both agree the service was excellent! Sam F served and was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food on the other hand is the worst brunch I've every had for the price point. The burger was super salty, fries were mushy when asked for crispy, and the eggs Benedict lacked flavor.
Pretty good for room service but a bit pricey compared to the overall food quality. The buffalo cauliflower was excellent and the pasta was very good even though it was a bit salty. The fingerling potatoes were flavorless as were the Brussel sprouts. The pierogis were just plain bland and overcooked. Our rolls were hard like when you put bread in the microwave
