The staff was excellent every individual who went by our booth asked us if we needed anything, more coffee, food, asked if I was finished and remove my empty plate from in front of me, and none were our waitress the entire staff enjoys working there and it shows give the owner a lot of credit for making it this way
Good was fresh, authentic and delicious. Atmosphere was fabulous- quiet enough to enjoy the company but enough background music to create a positive vibe. Service was excellent as well!
First time there. The four of us had lunch there today. Very impressed with it. Our server ,Ashley was awesome. Food was delicious. The portions are huge. Brought have of ours home. Will be back for sure.
My husband and I will definitely visit this restaurant again but for dinner, the dinner menu just looks so good. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great. But next time we will dress more dressy casual because it did feel as if we were underdressed for the atmosphere.
I would give Zoe’s 10 stars if I could. The food is delicious. Staff & atmosphere also great. I’d eat here daily if I could. I don’t know what to recommend… everything is fantastic. You will not be disappointed.
Food was delicious and a large portion. Ended up bringing half of it home.
My sister in law and I go to zoe's on fridays. The food is good but even better is the service. Our waiter is Wes and he is the best. Always friendly. Answers any questions we have and comes back to the table to see if we need anything. He works hard keeping up with all the tables he is servicing. Great job Wes.
Always good food and great service... Shout out to Christia for the awesome service!!
We had a great experience here. They were able to quickly seat our group of 9, and easily accommodated 3 children and an allergy need. The food was delicious and served quickly.
Great food and portions are large. Service was excellent and place is very clean. This place never disappoints.
Me and my wife enjoyed the food on Valentine's Day thank you
Food is always great! Love the fishfry! Value is pretty good.
Waitress was very nice! Portions are huge but you are allowed to get less (ie pancakes come in stacks of 3 but get any number you want!). Definitely try the lemon ricotta cakes! They were phenomenal! Breakfast cocktails were also a rave! Try the orange snoozius with vanilla vodka, cream and orange juice!
I love their hash and eggs breakfast. The service is great. Friendly and efficient. The meal was served at an easy comfortable pace. The restaurant is bright and spacious. Although crowded, conversation at our table was good due to the acoustics. One of my favorite places.
First time here. Family reunion. Had brunch on the patio. Overall VERY nice place. I would recommend.
Great food. Wonderful servers. We had 2 and 1 trainee. Even though we had a large party of 15. They took excellent care of us. Made sure drinks were always filled, food came out all cooked to order and hot.
Definitely would go back if we were local. everything our group ordered was delicious. Good portions, a few dishes were light on the amount of protein though
For a Saturday morning in August, seating a sarcastic table of 9 from Massachusetts, we were all very impressed. The service staff were fresh and clean, the water and coffee never empty, and the dining room was bustling with happy full faces and conversation. We left with boxes and memories to take back to new england. Thank you. We will be back next year!
Visited here with my family after a long day of sight seeing and driving. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. My kids were so excited for the breakfast options, and the hummus was to die for. No one batted an eye when my toddler was tired and grumpy. Wish we lived closer and we would be regulars here.
This place is so delicious, best place around 😋 everyone is amazing n hard working .nothing is ever messy , they have there staff trained very well , owners are amazing, they don't mess around..keep up with the great service
Great atmosphere and consistent food. Tim’s service and attention to detail is phenomenal.
The best restaurant experience I have had in years, from seeing the storefront on a whim across the street to the time I left. It was so neat and clean, at a glance I thought they were closed. Inside was filled but not crowded, good space. Staff were all delightful, kind, pleasant, and beyond professional. Service was swift, the employees seemed genuinely happy. The rosemary lamb chop souvlaki breakfast was beyond amazing. Their house special, lamb is a favorite of mine but frequently it is overcooked. I ordered my lamb rare, and this was the first time in years it was actually cooked to my specification, but it was more than that. From the first bite it was akin to Disney's Ratatouille; the lamb was perfectly cooked, melting rare but the grill marks had the taste of char, the smoke was tastable in the best of ways but the meat was still rare, tender, and perfect. Upon reflection, I can say it was the best lamb I have had in my life, a delightful birthday surprise. I am amazed and cannot recommend Zoé highly enough, perfect for a small family meal, intimate date or special occasion, or just a wonderful place to get quality food and service from delightful staff!
From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was exceptional. Our server made sure we had a great encounter. The servings were large, tasted great, and well worth going again.
Had a nice brunch here today. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The croissant French toast with strawberries was really yummy and the coffee was pretty good, though I still dream of the lemon ricotta pancakes I had from here a couple of years ago. I think that the prices are reasonable for what you get. I wish that they took reservations, just because I'm the planner type, but we came at 230 on a Sunday and there was no wait.
I had the turkey sandwich on sourdough and wow it was amazing.
My family and I stopped for lunch. I’m vegan, so I had a black bean burger. It was absolutely delicious! My family all enjoyed their meals as well. Highly recommend!
After 2 yrs in buffalo on an AML business trip , I have to say Buffalo totally & completely sucks! That said , Zoe a is probably the very best restaurant or top 10 in all of buffalo! Incredible Gyro meat, salads , desserts, soups ...the big guy, owner runs the place extremely well..always striving on food quality and service ,no matter how cold it is and how many inches of snow fell ....if near buffalo again , we will go to Zoe s !!
Went with a friend. We got 2 appetizers, a salad, and a fish dish and had SO many leftovers!! Dolmathes and Greek salad were delicious but sadly the hummus didn't have too much taste and the grouper had so much cream sauce on it that it overwhelmed the fish. Next time I'd ask for the sauce on the side if possible. PS...if you're a feta lover then the Greek salad is for you. They give about half a block on each salad!! ❤️❤️
Note to All - The portion sizes are huge so order accordingly. This should be everyone’s favorite brunch spot , a wholesome menu with breakfast and lunch items , great brunch drinks and the standard ones too and some of the most generous portions I’ve seen at a restaurant. We ordered a mix of Entrees and Breakfast menu and all turned out great but we had to take most of them home 🏡 as we ordered more than we needed 😉 Zoe’s Paninis- The stuffing was very good and generous and always opt for the sweet potato fries , they are so good Healthy Veggie Omelets- Fluffy and had generous filling of cheese and veggies Brioche French Toast - Soft bread and the syrup was really nice too Spanakopita - you can’t go wrong with a filling pastry with cheese and spinach , very well made ! Chicken Souvlaki- the chicken was incredibly well grilled and marinated Genoa Pasta - the perfect pesto sauce pasta in a long time All the Drinks were made well , service was on point too ! Definitely going back soon for more good food !
Wonderful service! Me and my friends stopped in for dinner. Our server Katie, recommended the chicken Zoe sandwich. Friendly wait staff, quick service, will be back!!!
Delicious Mediterranean food. The chef Gui is the best in the area for tasteful and fine food. He always has a special dish every time we go there. All the specials are his own creation. He came to our table to check if everything was delicious. The restaurant is small but with great selection of wines and drinks. The menu has something for all tastes.
My food was made by the Sue Chef Kahlil and it was absolutely one of the best pastas I've had in a very long time. Well done
A little bit of a wait, but honestly they move so quickly that it hardly seemed that long of a wait at all. Clearly their reputation of great food and service is demonstrated from having a constant crowd. I think this may been the fastest and accurate service I have ever received with my meal and that's including a few fast food joints I have been to as well. The meal was fantastic and reasonably priced for the amount I received. Had to take a doggie bag home and so did the company I was with too. Overall, I was very impressed with service and quality of food. Most importantly, they kept my coffee mug filled at all times without me asking which is a huge plus in my book. Will be back again soon. Great place to do brunch with friends.
Zoe’s is our family’s go-to spot, but what makes it extra special is our waiter, Donny. He’s absolutely wonderful ~ warm, attentive, and he always makes our girls feel so welcome. They look forward to seeing him every weekend! The food is consistently great, the staff is friendly, and Donny truly makes the experience feel like home.
Have been here before and had great food! The BLT on Italian bread was delicious and I've been thinking about it ever since!
9/13/25 My close friend chose Zoe's for her birthday dinner which is great since I'd been craving Zoe's Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. They did not disappoint! My friend had the Chicken Souvlaki. The meals were delicious and quite generous. I appreciate our nice & patient server, Raychelle, for making our dining experience a delightful one.
Amazing place for great Greek food! The atmosphere is very comfortable and in the warmer months there is an outdoor patio. The service was prompt and very affable.
Best place I've gone to eat in a very long time and I will definitely be back. I had the pork chop with the hot pepper fig sauce and it was truly to die for. I also had an espresso martini with bourbon and Kahlua and it took was amazing. You must, must, must eat here.
Came here on a whim on a Sunday during lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Food was exquisite, service excellent, prices fair. Ordered the lamb chops (highly recommend, some of the best I've ever had) along with a beefteki salad which was also amazing
We have been coming here for a while now, I only go to get the chicken or beef souvlaki. They have upgraded on the lettuce choice they use and that has made this an even better healthier option. Everything is always delicious whenever we go! Definitely will be going back!
Update to my previous review. My visit to Zoe' today was exceptional. The service was delivered by Erica and she is a superstar. Erica was prompt, efficient, friendly and highly professional. I can't say enough about how what a stellar job she did. I hope that Zoe' delivers some additional recognition her way, she is deserving. Everything was perfect, clean, organized and fresh. The food was made to my exact request. I truly could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Zoe' ownership and staff... you knocked it out of the park; especially Erica!! You can guarantee that I will be back, and with friends.
Went there tonight with my young daughter. Our waitress was outstanding (Carla). Came with two waters, could tell or knew time was a bit limited, had made sure everything was great, and had us in and out with the food coming out really quick (and it was good as always). Thank you! Will be back - great job, Carla (and kitchen staff).
Don’t waste your time going to Rachels or Pita gourmet. If you want a real chicken souvlaki, eat at Zoes! Best chicken souvlaki I have ever had. (I’ve had almost everyone’s, it’s my favorite food) friendly staff and kickass owner. Highly recommended.
It was my sister's 80th birthday Everything was wonderful. The service was Excellent, the Food was Delicious and the prices where fair. Very good experience all around!
I have to say, our dinner at Zoé was one of the best nights out we’ve had in a long time. Everything just felt right from the moment we walked in. The staff was warm and welcoming in a way that didn’t feel forced it honestly felt like they were happy we were there. The food was incredible. You can tell it’s made with care, not rushed or thrown together. Every dish was full of flavor, and we kept sharing plates because no one wanted to miss out on anything. One thing that really stood out was the service. Our server was great, but what made the night even better was when the manager, Weston, came over to check on us. He didn’t just do a quick hello he genuinely made sure we were enjoying everything and that our experience was perfect. That kind of attention is rare and really appreciated. The atmosphere was cozy but still had that elevated, special night out vibe. We never felt rushed, and everything just flowed. By the time we left, we were already talking about when we’d come back. Zoé is the kind of place you recommend to everyone you know. If you haven’t been yet, go you won’t be disappointed.
Zoe’s Greek Restaurant is a true gem where every visit feels like a special occasion. The food is outstanding—each dish bursting with authentic flavors and crafted with evident care and expertise. From the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the sumptuous main courses, every bite delights the palate. The service is exemplary, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Adding to the charm is Alex, the master chef and owner, whose warm and personable nature makes guests feel right at home. His passion for Greek cuisine shines through both on the plate and in his welcoming presence. For anyone seeking delicious food paired with top-notch service in a vibrant, inviting atmosphere, Zoe’s Greek Restaurant is a must-visit!
My wife and I try to get out on a "date" once in a while and leave the kids with their grandparents. This time we chose Zoé as our restaurant choice. I can't believe we've never been here before. It was the perfect atmosphere for a date night. The staff was friendly, service was very fast, and last but not least the food was fantastic! We will definitely be returning for our next date
We came two hours before closing. It was very quiet, pleasant. Katie was training with Didi, and did an excellent job! Very friendly and hospitable. The place was very well kept, neat, clean, nice décor. Will be back. Highly recommend the chicken Alfredo.
I recently stopped into Zoe’s for breakfast and had a very good overall experience. The highlight of the visit was our server, Ashley, who was absolutely excellent. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The food itself was decent—nothing to really complain about, though I did find it a little expensive for what it was. That said, everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was nice. While I know the location definitely plays into the pricing, it was still a very enjoyable breakfast overall. I would definitely go back again, especially knowing the service is as good as it gets.
If you're in East Amherst, Zoe is the place to go. If in Buffalo, Kostas...Both places get a five star rating from me. You won't find authentic greek in the area that compares to either of these places. Presentation and portions are on point. The chicken for the souvlaki is pure heaven. No corners cut. Pictured is the premium cut pork chop in cherry pepper fig jam. Sweet with a slight kick. Breaded, pan seared, and oven finished. Crispy outside and tender inside. The mashed potatoes were house made, and fresh vegetables. Also came with salad and pita. Could have opted for soup. 10/10. Thank you Westin!
Laurie, my server, was extremely helpful, timely and professional. Zoe, which means LIFE in Greek, definitely gave life to the dishes I ate! I was debating between the Zoe Grouper and the Salmon, but Laurie suggested the Pesto Grouper so I tried it, and it was purely decadent and enjoyable to the last bite! Fried perfectly with a creamy pesto sauce served with chunky and creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly made zucchini, eggplant and yellow squash as a side dish! The drink was a perfect touch and so tasty I had to order a second. Definitely happy I decided to treat myself and try this restaurant and I plan to return soon!
Went here for dinner tonight with my girlfriend and the food was great and with generous portions! I would definitely come back here again. The menu has a wide variety of selections and they also do breakfast here as well. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes Mediterranean food.

Fantastic food, patient staff, good deals. They have never gotten our order wrong, and always are polite.
Mom and I enjoy coming here because we know we will get good food and good service. Most recent time today our waitress was a little lackluster but maybe was bracing for the mothers day storm. Mom and I enjoy going at off times like 4 pm before the major rush. Full menu available, generous portions and always tasty. I love being seated in the side room it is so pretty. Even though neither of us lives close, its worth the trip out. One note is they could use another 1 or 2 restrooms added- as dinner service picked up so did the restroom queue.
Great service. The fettuccine alfredo was too much garlic for my taste. Enourmous portions!
We were in the area and looking for a place to stop for breakfast. Initially, this restaurant looked like a casual place from the outside. When we walked in, it was a lot more fancy than expected. Beautiful decor and a bar. I felt a bit underdressed for the atmosphere, being that we were in there for breakfast. The host was friendly, our waitress Ashley was very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. The gentleman who was cleaning off tables always made sure to keep my coffee topped off. He was also very pleasant. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with rye toast and homefries. My husband ordered the chicken souvlaki breakfast. We both felt that the food was bland. My toast seemed kind of stale. However, the portions were huge. I was impressed enough with the customer service that I'd come back again and try their dinner. (I'll remember to wear something more casual rather than jeans). I do recommend this restaurant.
Had a great couples Valentine brunch. Erica was on top of her game and the food and drinks were superb. Comfortable atmosphere once we were reseated to the indoor dining room.
Food is delicious and portion sizes are big! I have been here twice for bunch! A little pricey though

Very good chicken souvlaki salad, lots of chicken underneath the lettuce, very tender. Prices have gone up a bit lately but it seems everything is getting more expensive.
The food here has overwhelming portions and quality of food is neglected. The portions are enough for several days but nothing tastes good enough to take it home.

My wife and I ate here for the first time on Saturday night. The atmosphere was nice and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. I ordered the steak and eggs and she the chicken Souvlaki salad. My steak was cooked too fast on high heat and was burned on the outside and medium rare in the middle (I asked for medium). I asked for my home fries to be well done, but they too, had patches of being burnt. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Her salad was large in portion but she said that the chicken didn't have much flavor. I would give it another try to see if the food was better prepared.
We were placed in an area where the seats were so hard. The food was so so and it was too expensive for the quality. Service was just ok. Because of where we were seated I had to search for staff to get an extra to go container. I will not return.
Just moved here from Michigan and being Greek myself opted to give this restaurant a try. The saganaki is not flame grilled at the table but I’m guessing put under a broiler and brought out to the table. It got hard within a few minutes if sitting at the table. Food was okay. We shared the sample Greek plate. I think we have some of the best Greek food in the country in Detroit so maybe I’m biased but the food we just ok. Service was 💯 though!! Greeted immediately upon walking in and our waitress was great!
We came here for lunch last weekend. I ordered the Steak and Eggs, and my wife ordered the chicken gyro. I ordered the steak as medium well, and it came out essentially burnt to a crisp. I order steak (medium well) and eggs at several restaurants in the area and sadly this was the worst and most expensive. My wife’s gyro (also overpriced) only tasted good because it was smothered in tzatziki. The chicken alone was dry and bland. It’s unfortunate because I used to love coming to this restaurant - we probably won’t come back for a while.
Food and service very good but prices are really high especially for salad. And very wowed that they place all the lettuce on top of everything else

Thought we would find a great old school Greek restaurant. Food was overpriced even with large portions. Cob salad was not tasty and the extra salad ended up $30.50. I returned it once but it came back the same. Stuffed pepper sandwich was mediocre. Bread was way too big. Fries had to be frozen, not real Greek cuisine. No beer on tap. Would not recommend.
Once upon a time this was a great restaurant. That time has passed. Super expensive, poor service, average food. Cost vs quality just isn't there. Also, we had an issue. Lemme run it by you quickly. Breakfast potatoes came out cold, so we sent them back and they came back nice and hot. The issue is that one big chunk of potato had a nasty black rotten spot on it. Half of said potato was being chewed when we saw how rotten it was. An appetite killer. The manager came over, said she'd take the cost of the potatoes off. We didn't bother arguing. Just won't be coming back
Hummus is bland and chunky, sad that a Greek restaurant can’t even make hummas better than grocery store hummas.. better off putting out store bought hummas for customers. Chicken is also so bland and DRY! Save your money people.
How is an open chicken souvlaki & quart of soup to go $42??? When I called to order at 4:45 pm, I was placed on hold for for 5 mins & told it will take 40 mins…for a salad & soup??!! When I asked for Kalamata olives on the salad, I was told it comes with 1 olive and any more would be extra. I was also charged for a tiny container of tszaki that I assumed came with the salad as it does at every other Greek restaurant. Over rated and over priced. I will definitely be going elsewhere in the future.
I ordered Eggs Benedits Salmon which comes with avocado. The avocado was rotten. I showed the waitress and she did offer to take my plate back, but I just never send my food back to the kitchen. No compensation or offer to bring avocados to me.
On Wednesday I ordered a to go order. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The girl who took my order was clueless and ended up calling me back because they didn’t have a croissant so I asked to put in a bagel instead. She put me on hold to ask if they had them. I got there to pick up my order and the girl asked if a had 2 eggs and meat. I said no. The same girl who I talked to on the phone jumped in and said it was cheaper to do it the way she did. I got home and I had a bagel wrapped by itself 2 burnt eggs with cheese on them, dried up home fries, and 3 hard sausage patties. I paid $22 for this and couldn’t even eat it and it was NOT what I ordered. Today, Friday, I decided to try again because I love it there. I got exactly what I ordered with no additional call back and for $17. Make that make sense? $5 to not eat it. Consistency is important in the restaurant industry.

My husband and I came in to eat and I asked to substitute fruit instead of home fries for my meal I ordered and all I received was melon and berries. For the price of this meal you would expect a better fruit medley. My husband ordered the chicken souvlaki and the chicken was very dry. This was our first time here and definitely our last
Although we had have eaten at Zoe’s before and were well satisfied our most recent experience was terrible. We had ordered two omelets and when we were served, they were missing some ingredients we requested. We told them we were not satisfied and wanted our money back which they did. What was upsetting was when we left the manager called us on our phone and yelled at us to never come back again. This was both inappropriate and unprofessional for any restaurant. So beware if you have an issue with your order
HORRIBLE experience!!! Waitress with southern accent rushed us to the point that we just left!!!!!! She told us she had “4 other tables to wait on and she was in a hurry “ the nerve of her that’s not my problem!!! Also she stated she’s the only one working which wasn’t the truth because we seen other waitresses!!!! Needless to say we got up PAID for the drink that we ordered and didn’t even touch!!!!! Asked to speak to a manager was told they were busy counting!!! I hv never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant!!!!!! To top it off the hostess took my husbands walker as if it wasn’t good enough to be in their restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!
Souvaki chicken was bland, apparently not marinated. 2 people in our party had same dish, same experience. when we told server she sent a manager. He came and in my opinion he wasn't very concerned. he took one souvaki off the bill (2 people had it and didn't eat it) as another member of our group tried to say something he just looked at her and walked away.
Our party was sat, served, bill split up at ordering and then at the end of the meal the manager told us they could not split the bill. Managers response to it was not to find a solution but to say, let me get you your check so that you can be on your way, we can't split the bill. Great meal, horrible experience.
Too high priced for eggs Benedict The muffin was like something that was a off brand from Save a lot and left out to dry The very small coffee cup did have great coffee was expensive. When I was honest with the staff they took offense. I have to admit they have a lot of personal working which would explain the higher prices. Probably good for lunch and dinner but if you want breakfast you would be better served elsewhere….
If you have a gluten allergy, do not eat here. I clearly informed the server that I have a gluten allergy and was assured — confidently — that the chicken dish was gluten free. It arrived breaded. I took bites before realizing it absolutely was not safe. This is not a small mistake. For someone with an allergy, this is a serious failure. When the manager came over, he seemed visibly relieved that my allergy wasn’t “deathly” rather than concerned that a customer had just been served gluten after explicitly asking. That response alone was alarming. Even worse, he never returned to check on the replacement dish or follow up in any meaningful way. The service continued to deteriorate. The waitress dropped my fork after taking away the gluten-contaminated plate and never replaced it. I waited and eventually had to get my own fork from another table. The replacement meal was just as disappointing. The “Greek salad” was a mound of plain lettuce with sparse onion, a few tomatoes, and an olive or two. The feta was finely grated and nothing like authentic Greek feta — it tasted cheap and low quality. The entire meal felt careless and cafeteria-level. My husband and I both had stomach aches for the rest of the day. This isn’t just about bland food. It’s about food safety, dismissiveness around allergies, and a lack of basic service standards. That combination is unacceptable. We will not be returning — and I strongly caution others with dietary restrictions to think twice before dining here.
** Additional comment due to the false response from the owner. To be clear not one person from our party raised their voice, nor did anyone use any profanity. One person was attempting to resolve the descrepancy respectfully, but after an hour and half, other people did request their bills, to which they were met with hostility and aggressive comments. There was no clear communication and unfortunately the owner is in a state of denial of the disgusting customer service that was displayed. The food was tasty and they had an excellent menu. The food portions are massive. The service was horrendous! We were a large group, (24) with kids, who were in town for an event. We called ahead to ensure they would take a group our size, To which they replied that they could accommodate us, and host large groups regularly. This was not the case! We arrived and they took our orders by family ( which was great) but then during our entree told us they only allow for 6 bills, so we would have to figure it out. This was an impossible task to accomplish at that point in the evening. The server was rude, disorganized and less than helpful. The manager was not receptive to the feedback regarding the late notice of “bill limits” and made disrespectful comments towards our group. The owner was verbally aggressive towards our group and caused a massive scene by slamming doors and yelling, when they discovered that they did the 6 bills incorrectly. It took them over 1 hour to correct the bills and we sat and waited as patiently as we could. They never offered a refill of water or an apology for the wait. They continued to make excuses for their inability to provide the information up front and handle a large group. I am all for supporting small, local businesses, but this is one that you should avoid. The lack of customer care and the treatment of our group was one that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. The owners are mean and nasty. Avoid at all Costs!!
Nice apps and big portions on the entree’s. Service was quick. Grilled steak was tough and flavourless especially given the fact that it’s $40 usd for this entree Waiting for the bill it went downhill from there. Errors took 45 minutes to correct and the owner was the most miserable person I have ever met. I understand now that 7pm on a Saturday night and the place was near empty.
