1 1/2 minute read: My wife got two California Pizza Kitchen Gift cards, from her job. This afternoon we went there to try them out. They’re located in Burbank right off the 5 North Freeway. Right across where IKEAS’ original site was. The place has a busy ambiance. Waiters & Waitresses scurrying around, Happy Customers chatting, Pizza Cooks Cooking, and Bar Tenders TENDING. The menus is very well thought out and whatever you pick, they will prepare it fresh. Se had Shrimp Scampi and a pizza with the works, a Sangria Margarita and. Cucumber ‘something or other.’ It was very very good. We enjoyed the visit immensely. BTW, we were greeted by a very polite young man and our Waitress (LUCIA) was attentive, polite, very helpful and had a Gr8 smile. You’ll recognize her by her infectious smile, when you see the photos I took. There are several CPK all over. But if in BURBANK, go say HI to Lucia. Tell Lucia, “the old Guy with the missing front “tooff”, sent us😎👍🏽

I have been working in restaurants half of my life now. So days like today I am so glad I was off to enjoy dinner with my wife. We chose CPK to try out their Valentine’s Day meal for two. We arrived at around 7:30 and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait unless we wanted to eat at the bar. We had to make a movie so we chose to sit at the bar and we were very happy we did. From where we sat, we could see how busy the place was as order after order left the to-go area to our right. Our server Katrina, I don’t think I saw her stop moving once (other than to take orders or to refill drinks). Regardless of how tired she must have been, her service was fast and friendly. The staff handling the to-go area were also quite friendly and very helpful helping us pick out dessert. For our appetizer, we chose the Bianco Flatbread. It was crisp and very tasty. For our entrees, my wife ordered the original bbq chopped chicken salad. She absolutely loved it, she said it was “perfect!” I chose the Santa Fe Power Bowl and I have to say I truly enjoyed it. Although the butter cake did destroy our diet, I have to say it was worth it and we are thankful for the servers recommending it. So, thank you CPK and, most of all, Katrina. I hope they know how much of an asset you are. We will be back soon.

We finally got a chance to eat here without having a 30 minute wait. Located across from the old Ikea in burbank, I had a gift card to use and it was a lovely day for some eats. We ordered the steak and the chicken picata and were definitely satisfied. Would we come back? Yes! Server was super nice and the manager that approved an old coupon was super cool by allowing the small discount to be added to our bill.

Have visited multiple times. Ordered catering and the food and service was good. My order was ready and hot. Would diffinetly order again. Ordered the tequila pasta and mushroom pizza both were delicious.

California Pizza Kitchen is a great quick choice! The dishes are simple but very tasty, and everything I’ve tried tastes fresh and delicious. Great flavors and quality ingredients make it a consistently satisfying meal.

Everything was tasty and delicious. Staff are really friendly. Portions are big and prices are reasonable.

Everything was good. The Thai salad had a slightly funny taste, but I think it was the grilled chicken (maybe the grill needed extra cleaning). I would go back.

The pizza I ordered was cooked too long, and the crust was dry, and it tasted bitter. The shrimp appetizer was better, nice sauce and the shrimp tasted pleasent. I was there for take out, so I ordered a cocktail that was well prepared, and old-fashioned. Bartender was overworked as she had many drinks to mix and no help. I had not gone to Cal. Pizza in years since I had a bad experience before. It seems they're still working on the rough edges.

Had an ok time at the Burbank CPK, we went at 7PM on Thursday we sat at the bar as usual and the wait staff and kitchen just seemed very under staffed, they were running around and the tables were only a 25% full but they were in dash mode, seemed very under staffed and so the service was very underwhelming, poor Brenda was running around a lot catering to a lot of guests so it was hard to keep full glasses! Pizza was very good and I would rate the chef as very highly, manager needs some work tho!

My wife and I stopped by this California Pizza Kitchen for dinner last night with her brother. We got seated quick and our server was Dillon. My wife got the Salmon plank, her brother got The Works pizza and I got the lettuce wrap with chicken and shrimp. We all love our food but the service was very slow with our server. He was not attentive to us on refills or bread and I had to walk up to him to get his attention at the bar area after being ignored while he attended other tables.

My family and I ordered stuff for pick up. It took longer than normal to receive the order which is okay. But the major problem was the horrific food poisoning I got from the order. I personally had cheese pizza and some milk. I'm not sure how long the milk was in with the order before our car ride home. But something tasted extremely off. Just the tiny amount I had around 8pm caused me to have the worst cramping of my life. I couldn't sleep at all, in fact, I was living in the restroom from this until 3am with my fiancé trying to help with my fever and due to other health things, I couldn't take any medicine to help ease any of this severe suffering. This location made me so sick, I had to cancel all my appointments for the following day and I truly only got over the poisoning earlier today. I've never been this sick in my entire life and this experience is quite concerning. I don't trust coming back to this location. Something within the order wasn't handled properly at all.
