Avis sur Donut Hut Burbank
Best donut shop in Burbank. And maybe the best donut shop in Los Angeles. Nothing fancy just a 24-hour donut stand with fresh donuts Around the Clock. You can tell that they use quality ingredients as well and take pride in their baking. It's right in the Magnolia shopping district and there's little benches outside where you can sit also. Also the donuts are super cheap - like a dollar each.
Best doughnuts in Burbank hands down. If you pick up a dozen for the office your coworkers will love you. Open 24 hours. Have never been disappointed.
If you love doughnuts, you must try this store. They have all kinds. Red velvet is my favorite. Beware they only take cash. Get a dozen or two for the office, they are open 24/7. Cute big doughnuts to serve as birthday cakes are available but call first.
Wow, I mean, this place actually really opened my eyes about American donuts. I don't usually like donuts because they're usually overly sweet and greasy with a thick layer of very sweet stuff on or it them too. Donut Hut's donuts are light and don't leave your mouth and fingers covered in grease. I got some donut holes and I couldn't stop! Brought a bunch to work and everyone loved it too.
Very good donuts, blueberry jelly-filled especially yummy. Nice folks. Fyi, only outside seating.
Happened to stumble upon this place while trying to find a breakfast stop. Hands down the most freshest donuts I have ever had and so,so,so many choices to choose from. We took a dozen home since we drove from Ventura County they still tasted great when we arrived home. I will be driving back for these amazing donuts!!!!
We usually go to Dad's but they were closed so we tried this place. Best decision of my life! The blueberry doughnut is incredible and the crumb is excellent. My wife loved her's as well. The guy that served us was very friendly also. This is our new spot!
This little spot was great. Good selection and super friendly. Husband and wife I believe, with a lot of regulars from what I noticed. Reasonably priced and quick service.
Quick Summary No frills, coffee shop with solid food. CASH only and bring your mask! Food- 5 stars Was looking for some food before our Burbank flight and glad we found this place (didn't have many options as we had an early morning flight). Ordered the croissant sandwich with ham and cheese and it was solid. Bread was soft and buttery and loaded with ham and cheese. It took about 15 minutes for them to prepare Bottom Line Solid food, great value, and always open. Great breakfast spot for whenever we have an early Burbank flight
Been going here for over 30 yrs ! U can sit and watch them make the donuts threw the glass. Then get the Warm fresh ready ones ! .
We are from out of town leaving to go home. We were driving by n seen this little gem. We flipped a B and stopped. So glad we did. We got a jalapeño & cheese croissant, a ham, bacon cheese n egg croissant and donuts of course. Everything was delicious 😋 the guy who helped us was very nice. We'll stop here again when we come back to the area.
Absolutely delicious donuts run by passionate entrepreneurs. When informed that they had already sold out of chocolate old fashioned, I wistfully remarked that they were the second shop I had been to that had sold out. So the owner made me one on the spot. Thank you for bringing joy into the world!
Corner donut shop. A table outside. Good, fresh donuts, croissants, coffee, etc. Consistent quality and reasonable costs. Usually busy.
Got there around 8:30 AM. Soft, fresh donuts. Thai ice tea is standard, but good (obviously). Didn't realize it was cash only. I only had a few bucks and they took that and said I could pay them the rest whenever I come back again. I didn't do that lol (I gathered change and another customer helped pay). I appreciated the trust and earnestness though! Super lovely.
We arrived at 10pm and there are warm fresh donuts!! I love the fact the man behind the counter is recommending us fresh donuts on the shelf instead of selling us old donuts. I will definitely come back.
Great selection, unique store front and delicious donuts. It is cash only but, not sure why there are some complaining about that when you have one fantastic donut. Which begs the question why is there complaints about the taste/grease? I didn't experience this. One of the best donuts in SoCal. IMHOP! Go early and get the selection and you will not be disappointed! Glazed coconut did not disappoint! It will be a return stop when in Burbank!
I came here only because they were the nearest open donut shop. And I'm so glad I found the place! It was past 1, and I still was given a warm fresh donut. So hot and fresh it started melting the glaze off the other donuts. There are a few tables to sit outside, but not many. Staff was friendly. And for the size of the place, they had a good variety! I was able to find 5 diff flavors of one of my favorite types of donuts, which rarely happens (I don't speak donut so I can't recall the name of the type) will definitely come here next time I crave donuts. Update: went back. The donuts I like are cruellers. Update: try the blueberry filled ones!
Quick service, large variety of donuts (including some very large ones). Price and taste make this place an excellent breakfast stop in the mornings. Not cons but be aware: Very Limited Seating Cash Only (ATM on site)
The first time my sister and I have ever come to this place and it is absolutely fantastic! The donuts are very fresh, we got the mini Donuts, but all of them look so delicious. We also got the ham and cheese croissants. The ham and cheese is baked into the croissant, and the croissants is huge! Our bellies are very satisfied LOL also the girl working at the front was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely come back!
OMG I was driving in the area and had passed a few donut shops, giving me a craving, so I searched for one with a great rating. I'm so glad I found this little stand! I asked the guy about the selection, and he said that everything was made within the last two hours except for the jelly, which were just coming out of the fryer. That sounds amazing, I said! He said that if I was going to eat them right away he'd fill them for me, otherwise they had to cool 10 minutes so that the filling wouldn't cook. I'll eat 'em now! I said, and ordered a raspberry jelly and a lemon. OMG And the raspberry jelly was real fruit! I haven’t had that in decades. So! Good! I highly recommend these folks.
This place is easily the best donut shop I’ve been to. I go at about 11PM and they have warm fresh donuts. Price is great and these guys really know how to make an incredible donut.
Just delicious, fresh donuts. Polite window service, even when they're very busy (which is often). And lots to choose from. I like that they have old fashioned flavors plus some unique twists. They also make great hot chocolate. A lively local favorite joint!
They don’t need my five stars but we got three donuts. A glazed, white frosted with sprinkles and a pink frosted and they were warm and fresh. Possibly in my Moo two donuts of all time. Probably number 1.
The donuts are pricy, more than twice of what I'm used to paying. They're worth it. You truly get what you pay for. They accept custom orders, too.
This is my favorites donut shop. The donuts here are always fresh and delicious!
They make the fluffiest, most yummy donuts! Come here for a late night fix. I got a warm cinnamon roll and it was generously doused in icing, fell apart in my mouth and tasted like heaven. Paired with fresh coffee, it was perfection. Heads up, they do cash only. A true old Burbank treasure.
I’ve been to all the popular donut shops in LA (Randy’s , SKS, Sidecar, etc) and I this one easily makes the list of top donut shops for me. The gentleman working there was extremely friendly, it has a variety of flavors, and the taste exceeded expectations 🤤
Awesome shop with great donuts and super nice staff! We took a class field trip here and they were so kind and patient when dealing with 20+ first graders!
Small parking lot behind the shop was easy to access. The service is friendly! You order at the window facing the street, so you’re on the sidewalk as you wait and pay for your food. I recommend the cinnamon roll and the strawberry twisted donut they have!
Stopped by in the early morning around 4am to grab a dozen doughnuts. (21.00) It was worth every penny. The doughnuts melt in your mouth. The owner was a delight as well. I recommend if you are in the area to check the place out. It's a different doughnut experience.
I come here at dumb hours in the night and always leave happy. My household LOVES anything that comes from here but their crullers, cinnamon rolls, anything blueberry, and raspberry bear claw thingies are LIFE. The people who own this are amazing and the workers are always so kind and attentive. Definitely a local staple.
Just love donuts! Real great selection of beautiful and tasty almost old school (& I mean that in a good way!) So you won't be finding the cardamom, fleur de sel, ingredients- you- need- to- look-up kinds. That being said, why have I never had a blueberry fritter before? Wish I had more time in Burbank - curious about the red velvet, orange French... spend some time at the front window!
Found one of my new favorite doughnut places! Tucked away by the Vons in Sun City, this place has a huge array of doughnuts, which can smell before even walking in the door. They have everything on display and have way more then basic doughnuts, they also have pretty reasonable priced deals as well. The lady who runs the shop is super friendly, and had some great recommendations! Check this place you won’t regret it!
Needed a donut and Google said donut hut! Thank you Google for connecting me to this place. Even at 6pm on a Sunday they had lots of donuts to choose from. The staff were friendly and parking was easy. This is a cash only spot so come prepared. They have an ATM. Got 5 donuts and donut holes for $8 and change. Will be coming back as this place was great.
This spot is a gem. 24hrs.. walk up window. Fresh donuts all day ! Very simple set up. Cash only. Tables to the side , so you can see donuts being made while you eat your donuts you just bought. An atm machine in case you need cash. And a little parking lot to get you going real quick. The donuts here are amazing. The glaze ones are legendary of course. But they have some great flavors to choose from . This one particular night in the video I had the fresh cinnamon donut. So good. GO TO THIS PLACE! The guys here are so cool and easy going. I’ve even had it where I was short 5$ and they just said pay us back. And of course I did ! 10 out of 5.
Almost got in a car accident after doing a double take while driving by. I pulled a u-turn as quickly as I could I stopped to check this place out. I wasn't disappointed, my wife judges all donut locations based on her favorite the glazed twist. So even though we got delicious Thai tea glazed donuts with black sesame seeds and a "raspberry butterfly" she loved her glazed twist and says it's the best she's had in a while. Which means the worst part about this shop is it's far away from my house the next time she wants this specific donut.
I've been spreading the news by word of mouth for years now, but let me put metaphorical pen to paper to let you all know that these are the best donuts in town. This little shack is always stuffed to the brim with donuts, and I've never had one that seemed stale. Even at the strangest times of day, there will be a person or two ordering, so they seem to move product fast enough that nothing gets a change to get old. Even though there's frequently a line of one or two people, the wait has never been more than a few minutes for me, and I don't mind waiting at all. If anything, it gives me time to look in the window and decide what I want to treat myself to today. A word to the wise: this place is cash only, so visit an ATM first or you'll have to pay a fee to use the one on site. Pictured: "How many donuts can I get for $20?"
Our favorite little donut shop. Always delicious and always open. The staff is excellent. One day their atm was having issues and they let me raincheck the $. And YES, I returned a couple days later to pay what I owed. Myself and the community is impressed at their hospitality and quality! Thank you :)
This is a takeout donut place. They're donuts are not overly sweet and are baked fresh throughout the day. I took some to my office in Oxnard and one of the employees recognized the box and said she drives many miles just to get donuts at this location. They even have blueberry donuts, which I understand is rare. The prices are super reasonable, the donuts are fresh and not overly sweet and I can't recommend this place enough.
Local guide here. This shop has some of the freshest donuts around. I ended up with a dozen yummy donuts yesterday. I have a 9-year-old, and they had donut holes, which are his favorite with milk. I highly recommend this place for yummy fresh donuts.
This place is bomb.com. I don’t even like donuts that much but these are amazing.
Family run donut shop. The danishes are excellent. Apple fritter fried to perfection. They carefully boxed my 3 danishes so they would not stick together. They take digital payments (credit cards) and they gave my dog a donut hole so i had him perfom tricks. The owners were filled with joy and depend on regular customers. Picking up a dozen donuts for the office is always nice. Parking is easy.
Old school 24/7 donut joint. The kind of place where you find fresh hot donuts with the icing still hot and gooey at 1am. 🤣
Best donuts ever! They are constantly making them as evidenced by lots of racks with donuts you can see. You can also see a guy making them fresh in the window. So great that they are 24 hours! We went there for the first time and gobbled down donuts in the parking lot and couldn't believe how good they were and went back to the window to buy more.
Their donuts are always fresh and delicious. Service is extremely friendly and the lady even threw in free bonus donut and donut holes for my niece. Super sweet. Super good.
Simply AMAZING…had been trying different flavors every time, all have been out of this world delish! Stopper by when old fashion glaze cakes were coming out…OH GOSH…unbelievably super delish, can’t even begin to describe such an experience, a warm cake soft and covered with perfect amount of warm glaze…whew…hope you get to have such special treat. Service is always great, very friendly and helpful, I always sto by in the eves and never an issue.
I’ve been to this place three times for donuts. Every single time I go, I am greeted with warmth and a smile, on occasion, they will give me a free fresh doughnut, and I don’t even need to comment on the quality of the donuts. They’re the best I’ve ever eaten.
Close to the Burbank Airport and quite delicious. When I land from out of state, and I need my California donut fix STAT, and they are nearby to help out. There is something about a SoCal mom & pop donut shop that just does 'em right. I had a cinnamon crumb raised donut this last time. Highly recommend.
So glad Krispy Kreme line was sooo long that I left and found this awesome place ! Excellent customer service and large variety of classics. Fresh and good flavor. The apple fritter didn’t make it to the picture because I devoured it on the way home. Will definitely be back . Oh, the coffee was good too.
FANTASTIC donuts! By way of reference point/comparison, FAR better than Voodoo in Portland. We showed up at 1am on a Thursday, and they were still baking them fresh. All four donuts we tried were super fresh and delicious. Large selection. Great service. Highly recommend.
Looks ordinary, tastes extraordinary. Absolutely killer donuts, got the Pistachio almond raise, Maple bacon raise, and jelly donut. Each one was great, light fluffy and perfect sweet. The jelly was specifically amazing, probably my favorite jelly I have ever had. Great service as well, will definitely return!
Delicious donuts alert! Delicious Don alert! Delicious donut alert! I was charging my car nearby in Burbank and walked over to this cool little donut shop. Delicious donuts, friendly owner, and a cool retro vibe. Make this a yummy spot to stop at. Don’t know what donut day was all about, I tried asking the owner, but he didn’t seem to know either. Hahahaha
The best donuts and service!!!absolutely amazing 😍 so good smell and taste 💟💟💟
I stopped by this Donut shop last night to get a quick snack. I parked on the street right next to this donut stand since they didn't have any guest here. They also have a small private parking lot here as well. I tooked a look at what they had first on display but didn't see a plain glazed donut so I asked the lady working if she has any. She said she does and I went with just that. They do charge a credit card fee here so if you have cash, I say pay with cash and the donut isn't that expensive. I ate my glazed donut outside, they have some seats and table for you to sit down and eat your donut there if you want to. I thought my glazed donut was fresh and soft so it was good to me.
Phenomenal donuts, even better service! I stopped in a morning before work with my dog for a half dozen donuts. The owners couldn't have been nicer! They gave my pup a sweet treat and lots of unexpected attention. It was a great addition to my morning. Thank you, Donut Hut! PS, the blueberry cake donuts are next level.
so for months and years I always drove by this vintage looking booth on the corner of Keystone and Magnolia in Burbank and there would always be people waiting to order. AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT AND MORNINGS... finally I stopped and investigated and I have to say that this donut shop is AMAZING! EVERYTHING is fresh and so delicious! HINT: Red velvet and blueberry donuts are supreme winners!
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting John, and he made my day by treating me to some of the tastiest donuts I've ever had! They were absolutely delicious—definitely the best I've tasted. A sweet gesture that made my experience even better. Thanks, John!
I drove by this gem my first time at IKEA. After looking it up, I was determined to go next time I was out in Burbank. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The large doughnut I believe is called a chocolate chip roll. It has chocolate and cinnamon (I think) inside and it’s delicious. The other two doughnuts I got were also amazing (devils food chocolate sprinkles and crumb cake). There was a great selection still after 12. I got all 3 things for 5.75 which blew my mind because one of my fav apple fritters elsewhere costs that much per fritter. Don’t forget to bring cash. The woman in front of me had no idea it was cash only and was a bit miffed. 100% recommend and will be back when I am in the area.

Wow! Ok we are here visiting from Australia and these donuts were absolutely unreal. Like nothing I have ever had in Australia. So I thought ok maybe LA donuts are just next level like that but no, we went to two other well known and lived donut shops in LA and they did not compare to the ones I got from donut hut. These are really special. I got an apple fritter and vanilla crueller and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve thought about them every day since. We have another quick stop in LA before we go home in a few weeks and I’m plan to come right back here. The textures were just so impeccably executed. Perfect crisp and crunch on the apple fritter with the softest melty inside. Very well balanced cinnamon flavour and sweetness, lots of apple chunks. The crueller was ridiculous. It literally just melted away in your mouth and had the perfect flavour profile. Truly impressive. 1000/10.
If you’re looking for a gourmet, $12 artisanal donut topped with gold-leafed hibiscus and a side of pretension, The Donut Hut on Magnolia is absolutely not for you. But if you want a donut that actually tastes like a donut should, welcome to the holy grail of Burbank. This place is a beautiful time capsule with a neon sign that has likely seen more late-night Burbank drama than a casting director’s office. It’s a 24-hour walk-up window, which is dangerous information to have if you possess even an ounce of poor impulse control at 1 AM. The apple fritter here is basically a local celebrity—it’s roughly the size of a hubcap, crunchy in all the right places, and should probably be its own food group. Their glazed donuts are so light and airy they might actually float away if you don't eat them fast enough (that’s my excuse, anyway). The family running it is lovely, the coffee is exactly what you need, and the prices don't require you to take out a second mortgage. It’s cheap, it’s sugary, and it’s open 24/7. What more do you want?
Hidden gem - Looks unremarkable passing by, but has AMAZING donuts and a huge selection always. The cinnamon bun, old fashioned, and blueberry are great donuts. If you go, you'll see it has a steady stream of locals popping by.
It’s like eating tiny bits of heavenly clouds. Oh so fluffy donuts. Even cranky old fashioned donuts can’t help but be delightful.
Not only are the donuts incredible, but so is the customer service! Michelle was the guardian angel of my credit card when it was lost, and thanks to her I found it safely. She went above and beyond to make sure it made its way back to me, and I am eternally grateful. Thank you Michelle <3
My absolute favorite donut spot. The donuts are soft and delicious, the Thai iced tea is phenomenal, and the croissants are huge. If you haven't been there before I implore you to check them out.
Los Angeles has a lot of mom & pop donut places, but this is my favorite. You can't go wrong with a glazed donut (and if you do go wrong then its not a good donut place). Have been here tons of times and they always have lots of choices in donuts. (they do sell out of cronuts and other such popular ones though) I dont know what their hours are because anytime I come here day or night they seem to be open. I'm sure they are not 24 hours though. lol. The staff is always friendly. Good neighborhood walk up stand. They have a SMALL parking lot but there is always street parking too. Never have had a problem.

Apple fritters! Old fashioned! Cake style with coconut. These are the favorites in my home and Donut Hut makes them best. Forget the franchise stores. Fair prices overall. Cash only. It used to be that if I happened to show up as the fresh doughnuts were being laid out, I could buy some day-old ones at a discount which made me happy! Not anymore. So I don't go as often now.
Good coffee! Friendly staff. Love that it’s open 24-hours. Donut selection is good, but some were definitely sitting out longer than others, and weren’t great. However, a solid stop for your midnight craving and pick-me-up!
This place is amazing. We always get glaze Donuts and they are always yummy. Lately we have been getting cold Donuts but still good.
One of the nicest and cutest little donut shops around. They make GIANT donuts bigger than the ones at Disney, for less. Only thing is they are typically cash only which I understand because it's a donut shop but I wish it was better advertised. Twice we've gone and totally forgotten about the cats only policy but they've been super kind and helpful. There is also an atm next door.
Excellent service and great variety. Never met a donut here I don’t like. I highly recommend the apple fritter and tiger tail. One star from perfect because I have often seen one of the cooks not wearing gloves.
Good donuts, not greasy. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they tend to run out of specific types of donuts. (Seems to always be the ones I'm craving) But, they are always nice and polite, the line usually isn't long and the donuts I do take home never last long.
WRITING THIS AS SOMEONE WHO GOES ONCE EVERY TWO OR SO WEEKS: They offer an exquisite amount of donuts with lovely flavors. I live only a block away so I go often after school or in the mornings before classes. The donuts are usually pretty nice and flavorful without an oily or fried aftertaste. SOMETIMES they give you an extra donut or a few extra donut holes and it always makes my day. Now that I think about it, they're probably from the day before, but STILL they never taste stale even after being left on the wall for a day. My only grave issue are the occasional bugs I see through the window. One time (it was a hot winter day) my brother and I walked out to Donut Hut an we saw hundreds of BEES flying around the corners of the window eating the sugar off of them. It was absolutely terrifying, but the donuts themselves were fine lol. Highly recommend the Cruller, the Cronut, the Maple bar (FAVORITE YUM), and the Bear Claw. I don't strongly recommend the bagel, but it's not bad.
The donuts are okay. The jelly in the jelly filled tasted like chemicals. The old fashion chocolate tasted like someone dropped toothpaste in it. The guy employee at the window was rude to my wife and kept trying to rush her through the order and ended missing a few donuts she ordered. We won't get donuts here ever again.
Best donuts ever. I just wish they had a bacon maple bar, but that's out of the ordinary. These guys just make the best donuts though. If you want to make sure you get some fresh ones get there around 7 am. If you're up late (around 11:30-12:30) you're guaranteed to get fresh donuts. Don't hesitate on going here. Just go. You won't regret it.
This place is alright. The donuts I had where really fresh and it was late at night. I prefer donuts that are on the bready side. The donuts here are decently substancial on that front and they’re tender, but the dough is really lacking salt so there’s kind of a hollowness to the flavor that doesn’t help balance out the sweetness of the toppings. What could’ve been an excellent donut became cloyingly sweet and pretty unpalatable. The thing is, to a lot of people I just described the perfect donut. The chocolate glaze was reasonably chocolaty. The cronut was a little rough though. It was somehow entirely saturated in glaze. I mean sweet throughout, like a sponge.
Surprised on the rating this place has. First time coming here, ordered two different donuts and a coffee. The donuts were both stale. super disappointed. I came at 5:30am maybe that could be why, but still not a place I would go out of my way to get.
Something happened to the quality of the ingredients. The donuts used to be most, soft and "airy", now the consistency is like cake. Go back to your original recipe, something changed.
Don't believe that this place is open late. I waited outside for a half an hour to serve me while workers just walked right past me. Good food but doesn't make up for the lack of service

This place used to be good. Recently came for donuts and they looked like they were made fresh but the flavor tasted like grease. I've never had a donut where I threw it away because it tasted like grease but that's exactly what happened here. My uncle and I went because we love donuts, and we used to love this place, cause the flavor was good, donuts were made fresh, and the price is good. But recently they've just gone down hill. The donut my uncle had was hard as a rock. He couldn't even bite into it. Even after warming it up it was still gross and un edible because he said it was flavorless. So sad. This place was so good just a before.
"24/7" shop that isn't actually open 24/7. Went to try this on a Sunday morning around 10am, and it was closed. I even checked their website before going to make sure they weren't closed. They can't be bothered to update their website when they're closed. Wouldn't trust them to do anything else right.
They never have anything in stock and I'm sick of driving 20 mins just for them to either be sold out or randomly closed for 9 hours
One of there best selling donuts is the CroNut. Many times I’ve drove 30 mins or longer to come buy some and they have been sold out. I called many times before coming and get no answer. The one time I did get someone on the phone I asked can I place an order they told me NO. I’ve come at 9pm, 11pm, 1am, and 7am and each time no Cronuts available and the reasoning is they didn’t make them yet! It’s exhausting dealing with the inconsistency in customer service.
