I know every McDonald’s has that “industrial plastic furniture we can hose down between guests” aesthetic, but this place took it to a whole new correctional-facility level. The vibe wasn’t fast food so much as minimum security intake. I half-expected someone to start fermenting toilet wine in the restroom or hand me an orange jumpsuit with my order number. From the outside, the building looks like a bunker—less “Golden Arches,” more “defensible perimeter.” Inside, human interaction has been fully deprecated. You order from glowing computer terminals so you don’t have to speak to anyone, and your food appears in a strange little liminal pocket at the back of the building, a non-Euclidean zone you can’t even see from the front. It’s like your fries are being extradited. Remember when McDonald’s was fun? Playlands. Fiberglass trees. Happy Meals. Hot apple pies that could melt skin. This is not that McDonald’s. This McDonald’s feels like it was designed by someone whose favorite movie is THX 1138. The food wasn’t bad, exactly—just unevenly heated, as if different components experienced different timelines. And then there’s the 2025 pricing reality, where a combo meal costs roughly what a sit-down restaurant charges for something served on an actual plate. Yes, there’s still a value menu, but it’s aggressively punitive: small fries, small drink, no upgrades. Dream smaller, citizen. Overall impression: efficient, sterile, faintly carceral. This has got to be one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to. Everytime I go through the drive thru they always mess up my order. I just went an hour ago and they messed up every burger on my order and I asked for light mayo on my mchicken and they put a dot on it which feels like they did it on purpose out of spite. They also park me every single time even if I only order one item. I highly recommend driving a little farther for better service, don’t waste your time here.

First time in a long time going to a McDonald's. I was very disappointed when I walked in and it was 90% self-service. Severely self serve kiosks, with one employee to help if you didnt want to use the kiosk. Had to wait too long just get a couple of sodas that we added to our order. Too expensive for what you get. No personality. Bring back the McDonald's I enjoyed as a kid.

Quite easily the worst service. After using the self kiosk inside, I waited at least 20 minutes to even see a worker. The hash browns were over-cooked and tasted of rancid cooking oil. Too bad because I like their value menu.

Ordered a 5$ meal deal. Buy one get one free. I asked for two McDoubles, and a coke. They charged me 6.36 which was about right considering but I got my meal deal at 5$, and a small coke. When I opened it, it only had one burger inside. I called and the manager said, no, we don’t have that deal. I told him, it’s on his menu, and I looked it up while we were taking. Sure enough there it was. He lied, and said this is a franchise, they’re all like that. I know that’s false, because I go the the banning location once a week and get that deal. Anyways, bad customer service. Screwed up my order and refused to correct it. JP Morgan doesn’t let people play with my money. So, needless to say I’ll be getting reimbursed. Lesson is not to lie to customer, or they will get their food for free!

I gave them my drive through code from the app and they charged my card on file before I was done ordering and able to apply my coupon. They didn't ask which way I wanted to pay and didn't offer a receipt. When I pulled up to the first window the guy let me sit there and finally said "can I help you, you're just sitting there". Yeah, I'm sitting here because you charged my card without asking and didn't offer a receipt. Some people use the code for the points and you should not assume they are paying with the card on file.

So just right now I had enter the left side hand drive thru ordering station and had the guy ask would you be using your code, so I gave him my free large fry points number and then told him I wanted a kids meal 6 piece then from there I try to order another item and I heard nothing on the other end, so I waited to hear for him to get back on the mic and then two cars on the right side had went by which I got frustrated after the second car because it was like 3-4 min passing at the point so I started to say hello hello anyone there and nothing so I was going to back up but there was a car behind me, blocking me from going backwards so I waited the car behind me then had moved over from the right side because it was open and saw me waiting way too long on the left side so then when I was about to go back in reverse and leave the guy got back on the mic finally, he had ask hello how can I help and I was like huh and he’s like can I help you and then I was like you were taking my order and then just stopped and then he replied oh ya and then started to say the order which was nothing I ordered so I had to tell him I’m the person with the points for the large fry and then I said a kids 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal so he’s like ok anything else so I had told him can I get two more kids 6 piece chicken nugget happy meals the same way as the first happy meal then he replied huh so I told him slowly and repeated 2 more extra happy meals the same way as the first happy meal and at this points it’s been 10 min since I started my order and now three cars have went thru the other side with the girl on the mic on that side helping so he ended up saying huh and confused and said ok so just one more happy meal right and that’s when I told him no I said two more and then it wasn’t going anywhere so I just told him I will just go inside and order because you can’t even take simple ordering and I’m annoyed at this point my kids and wife are too, so I went in reverse and went inside when to ask to talk to a manager this nice kid who was working the lobby had got her for me and when she approached me I had told her hey who’s working your drive thru because they can’t even do their job right and had me waiting and didn’t even have anything right plus never even said sorry for having you wait for awhile , she had said I’m so sorry and then if u want I can have him come up and apologize and then come up front and take my order, instantly I thought to myself why would I want him to take my order again if he couldn’t even get it right he first time so I told her no I will order off the kiosk, knowing it will take sooner then waiting more. The manager really doesn’t know how to manger the floor and they were running around everywhere back and forth with ppl waiting forever in the lobby for there food what upset me was her reply she should of took my order right there and redeemed my points code for my large fry that I lost when he took it done in the beginning when I ordered in the drive-through. But then I waited and payed my $40 for my order and she just gave it to me and didn’t say nothing no sorry about that or have a nice night. I hope that the store manager has a meeting with them and my order was around 7:15pm today which is 1-19-2025. I live here next to the McDonald on the Morongo Rez and won’t be coming back and driving to the one in banning due to continue back service over and over again. But one thing I can say good about this store is there’s is a white older woman who is the manager that wasn’t there this time but she makes the store go really good and has amazing customer service, wish she was in today to help instead so I wouldn’t of lost my points.
