It was amazing from the staff to the every item we had the pleasure to taste, we loved it all!
The exceptional service and ambiance created a highly positive dining experience. The food was spectacular, and I am grateful for the attentive and considerate service provided during my first visit.
My wife and I visited the restaurant for the first time on April 8th for dinner celebrating our wedding anniversary. We're from Puerto Rico but had lived in Florida for several years. While visiting Puerto Rico, we were hoping for an excellent restaurant, in every sense, with great food and, very importantly, great service. We weren't wrong. This restaurant and its entire staff are A+! The hostess, Naya, greeted us in such a pleasant and respectful manner that it truly made a great first impression. Our waitress, Carolina, is excellent—very friendly, respectful, and focused on customer service. She not only answered our questions but also gave us great suggestions. The bartender/mixologist, Zuri, is one of the best I've ever met. Besides being very friendly, he's an artisan who creates beautiful and excellent drinks. The food is excellent, delicious, great presentation. Something else that stood out was how they work as a team, ensuring excellent service at all times. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on our next visit to Puerto Rico. Our respect and congratulations to everyone! See you next time.
Great Hamachi starter ... The dirty Martini was on the mark. This is a great place for a business dinner or a romantic date here in the center of Caguas. I had the Duck and it was awesome.... Even had dessert with a homemade coconut ice cream. The chefs have a great fusion menu, with vibrating flavors ... Worth every penny ! Service was great!✅
OH MY GOD! The full was to die for. So delicious! The atmosphere was beautiful 🤩 the service was top notch! I will be going here every time I’m in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Love ❤️ Love ❤️ Love ❤️ yum 😋
We visited this restaurant for the first time on 4/26/25. We had previously been to a restaurant called Funche, which had the same chef—and all we can say is wow! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the chef came to our table. We’re definitely coming back.
By far one of our top dining experiences! Home made flavorful dishes beautifuly presented with a twist for carribean cooking. The owners/Chef and staff were simply amazing and loved the vibe. Definitely coming back. From one Chef (my husband) to another, thumbs up 👍👍
One of the best places to eat in Caguas. It is reservations only but its worth it. Parking is great. Service was on point. The food was great from start to finish. Overall this places gets 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend and would come back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Father’s Day Experience Yesterday, for Father’s Day, my wife surprised me with dinner at Restaurante Cazuela in Caguas, and it was a spectacular experience from start to finish. From the valet parking to the dining room service, everything was impeccable. The staff was very attentive, professional, and friendly, even though the dining room was filled to capacity. The food was exquisite, especially highlight the Beef Wellington, which was perfectly cooked and the cocktail "Sueños Perdidos" was truly delightful. You can see the care in every detail. I definitely recommend it and would return soon. Thank you for making this evening such a special celebration!
We loved it! The service Jonathan gave us was excellent. The food was great! We had arancini lobster and it was good, not my favorite of all we ate but is was good. I asked for a Rib Eye and it came out perfectly cooked and tender. The chuleton was so tasty! The fried rice was so good, with asparagus, brussel sprouts, mushrooms... amazing! The mamposteao was perfect, moist and flavorful, just like its supposed to be. For dessert, we ordered budin and it exceeded my expectations. I didnt expect it to be much, because its such a basic dessert, but our waiter insisted on it. He did not lie... It was the best budin i've ever tasted in a restaurant. We had a bottle of wine which elevated our cost per person, but the prices of the food are fair for the portions, quality and service you get. Overall i am very pleased with everything i ate. Looking forward to going back another day.
The dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. If I could, I would gladly award it a sixth star. The journey began with the exceptional funche appetizer with octopus, a culinary marvel. The main courses, rabbit with longaniza risotto and duck, were expertly prepared, showcasing impeccable seasoning that elevated the flavors to new heights. And then there was the dessert, the pumpkin crebule, a masterpiece that redefined indulgence. A special thanks to Angelie, our outstanding waitress, whose excellent service and expert recommendations added to the delight. My heartfelt congratulations to the chef for creating such a memorable meal. We had an absolutely wonderful time.
Wao! I was expecting something good but they exceed my expectations. Delicious food! Great presentation! Good service! The price is 100% justified!
First visit with high expectations and didn’t disappoint. Small but cozy place. Start with the “piononos with ox tail” for appetizer and was amazingly good the sauce with manchego cheese take it to another level. Then all of our orders were spectacular!! specially the “funche” that my wife love it to the point I have to order and additional side for her, definitely the star of the night. To close, order the dessert trio of chocolate cake with chocolate crème brûlée and chocolate ice cream!!! Wow!!
I went to eat with my parents, who recommended the place. Every plate we ordered was excellent! I cannot say I had anything that was not incredibly delicious, and we had appetizers, main course and dessert. The service was great. I am sure I will eat here again when I return to the island. I posted a picture of the menu, but the dishes offered change or may run out when you visit.
Incredible food. Fine dining X criollo. The duck was no joke absolutely perfectly cooked. Everything was amazing. Such a nice restaurant too. Head chef has an impressive back story!
Restaurant is pretty small but the service is good and the food is very delicious. I had tacos rodaballo ($14) and a rodaballo fish as a main course ($43). Main course is definitely pricey as the portion isn’t that big.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cazuela in Caguas; it was an experience to remember! The restaurant offers Puerto Rican cuisine with a creative and gourmet twist, which is both unique and delightful. The ambiance is impressive, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had an exceptional dinner. They even helped us celebrate my significant other's birthday, making our evening extra special. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, combining traditional Puerto Rican flavors with innovative twists that left our taste buds wanting more. It was evident that a lot of thought and care went into every plate. Without a doubt, I will be returning to Cazuela many times in the future. It's a fantastic spot for special occasions or simply to enjoy a high-quality meal. Highly recommended!
Great place, service, ambience and service.
Delicious! I need to come back again. Highly recommended. Probably the best option you will find on Caguas.
Is a relaxing ambience. Drinks , Wine List and Food have a nice variety, Our server Edwin was very helpful and attentive in all moment will return!
First time, and the food amazing, and the service as well.
It is inside of a Hospital (weird) but as soon as you entered the atmosphere change completely. The food was delicious. Chuletón de cerdo, arroz mamposteo, tostones, appetizers, deserts, the Cosmopolitans. Great place to have a great dinner experience.
Great place, great time.
Everything was just perfect.
Excellent Puerto Rican food with modern flair. Pechuga Del Mar (pictured) was outta this world.
Creative and delicious dinner. My family had grilled octopus, rabbit, Australian wagyu and filet mignon. Pumpkin pastry with ice cream so unique and enjoyable. Do not expect a rushed meal and it is costly. Great for a memorable evening.
Just to say I had an amazing experience. Our waitress Amy, was on point. She was very knowledgeable an her attention to detail made my visit extraordinary!
is located in the lobby of the private hospital building, but is amazing
This place is hidden gem in Caguas PR! The quality and taste of the food is amazing. Noelia was our waitress and she explained each dish in detail and made great recommendations to make our dinner unforgettable. This is our third time in this restaurant and we are definitely coming back!
This is the second time I visit this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is awesome. The place is small but very quaint. There is art for sale on the walls but you have to ask if you like it since it looks as part of the decoration. The place is run by a local couple. She is the manager of the floor and he is the chef. He was formally educated as a chef outside PR. My wife and liked the place so much that for our second visit we brought some of our friends. They also liked it so much that we are already talking of going back. Everything we have tried we could have again but will keep trying different things in future visits because since everything have been so good we have not been able to come with our favorite plate.
Food and service have always been great. Atmosphere is a bit too loud to my taste, over illuminated and indiscreet (which kills that relaxing sense of intimacy I often look for when dining out). I hope that management soon will give it the design overhaul that such great food and service deserves!
Walitza and Astrid were incredible delivering our drinks and everything on time!!
We were introduced to the restaurant by our beautiful cousin. It was an amazing experience. The chef/owner is very creative. The food had a unique taste like no other. The service was perfect. Highly recommended. Reservation is a must. Enjoy!
First time eating at this rest in the Caguas area. Excellent food. Chef is well known in Puerto Rico. Customer service is excellent too. Only recc is to improve the wine and coctails offering. Wines not the best quality and the good wines werent available. Will return for sure
Food was delicious as well as the cocktails. The menu has something for everyone so is a good choice for picky eaters.
Amazing service and food. Beef Wellington was in point!!! Drinks were on top of the hill... 100% recomended!!!
Delicious food, fantastic service, ample wine and cocktail selection. Recommended!
The best salmon I've had in years. A patient, accommodating server who handled my clumsy attempts at speaking Spanish with grace and good humor. The rellenos were delicious.
Superb food with an exquisite puertorican flavor. Very professional personnel with an interest in being complacent with customers. Strongly recommended.
The food/price ratio is objectively reasonable. I tried the ensalada funche, bacalao tempura, pulpo al carbón, croquetas de mamposeao, gnocchi de apio, risotto de longaniza, crème brûlée de maíz y key lime pie deconstruido. Everything was presented, done, and tasted to well above-average standards. We will come back to Funche anytime I am around the area.
Food was excellent. Great atomosphere. Music was nice. Great location.
Our waitress wally was exceptional!! Excellent recommendations and service The food was delicious..Had a special request for a private space to share with our relative with cancer and chemotherapy and they provided an exceptional space… Will repeat soon!!
Went for a quick lunch, was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the ambiance. Had the salmon with the "majado" from the lunch menu.
Fantastic menu with choices for all. I found the food a little over the salt but with many awesome flavors. The fried Capitan was great. The cheese empanadas, avocado and tomato as well as the truffle fries were a great hit.
We came to Puerto Rico from Cincinnati few days ago and came to this place. Chef Juan Nieves is a great guy, he explained all the dishes with patience and he cooked us couple great steaks. He generously sent us fried Plantain as well. I highly recommend Funche Resturant.
Great food!!! Dessert was amazing!!! Good cocktails, but I've had better.
Food was okay, plates weren’t well balanced. Ordered the Mechada, it was a bowl of Demi glaze with a mechada. The meat was good but the amount of rice to liquid was absurd. Menu doesn’t mention that it’s covered in ham. Ordered a white rice, they brought me rice with bacon. I was told that they made their own tomato sauce for the pasta but it was really more of a pink sauce. Everything tasted well but some of the plates feel unbalanced. Cocktails and mock-tails were good. Appetizers could have been slightly more generous for the price. They have an appetizer called Buñuelos but they aren’t so, they are alcapuria balls. Location feels off, the bathroom is not in the restaurant but in the building which is shared with the hospital patients.
The food was not tasty at all it did not had any seasoning . The polenta (funche) was sweet. Service was inattentive . Very expensive
The food was good but the service was terrible. The waitress had no experience and was not even attentive to our needs.
"Cafeteria" level food with premium prices. Service was lackluster. It took almost an hour for food to arrive. Was expecting fine quality dinning but even the fork, knives and glassware was cheap, not for a restaurant of this kind. Not recommended.
