I was looking for a good Mediterranean food spot and luckily this was close by. I tried their chicken kebab plate with half shawarma and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The hummus and eggplant mash were also good, but the garlic sauce was the best. Overall it was a very satisfying and filling lunch. The plate of chicken was huge with lots of chicken which I appreciated and at a fair price for what you get. I’d definitely eat here again and try their other menu items.
Excellent food and friendly service. Freshly made Falafel and Salad with yummy stubborn soda completes a fine meal here. We got the vegetarian options and Sat outside to enjoy our lunch.
FurnSaj is REALLY good - I have been to many different Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants and this place is one of my favorites. It is more expensive than some other similar places, but I think that’s due to the location - considering it’s right next to Erewhon and right near Calabasas, it’s bound to be pricier. But the great thing about it is the food is of really good quality! They literally don’t miss…no matter what type of meat you get, everything is consistently good. The seasonings are perfect!! It is so flavorful!! Everything comes out super fast and the portions are MASSIVE! In reality, you can order one plate and split it between two people for lunch (which would make the price much more reasonable) - I would highly recommend doing half and half plate of the lamb gyro and the soujouk meat. Get a side of the hummus, warm pita bread and some fattoush salad, and you have yourself an awesome meal! I have yet to try the other things on their menu like the pizzas, flatbreads and smoothies, but based off other reviews, it seems like these items would be great options as well. As I said, it’s hard to go wrong with your order here! If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean or Middle-Eastern food in this area, look no further than FurnSaj! 😁
The mixed olive or spicy tomato pizza were nice. For more, follow our instagram @gemislist
Always good food with great staff helping with your order. Have gone a few more times since my first review and I still really like this place. My new go to order is the salad bowls. Gotta try them!
One of the best Mediterranean Rest % Bakery. Panna Maraviloosa is the best dessert one can ever have. Beirut Avacado Shake is also good. Their French fries has a flavourful seasoning which makes them more yummier. Astha is my new love ❤️ 4.9/5.
We were surprised to discover some new Lebanese dishes. They offer plenty of vegan choices which is wonderful. Portions are huge so don’t order too much. I am just sad I didn’t taste the dessert. Their jallabb drink is so delicious.
Furnsaj is the best Lebanese restaurant! This is a mostly vegetarian Cocktail mix Mana'ish (Lebanese flatbread pizza) made with a variety of toppings including olive mix, Impossible Lahme b'ajine, cheese, soujouk, spicy tomatoes, and so much flavor! To enjoy the sweetness of life, try this Ashta, a traditional Lebanese dessert topped with a generous portion of strawberries, bananas, almonds, pistachios, & drizzled with honey! Jallib is a drink made of dates & rose water.🌹Everything is so delicious 😋 I felt like I was in heaven with all the good people, music in Arabic, and fresh, delicious food.
Excellent middle eastern food, lots of options, very fresh and authentic. The plates are huge! Its the kind of place you think about 2 days later and want to go again.
The food from here is amazing, so flavourful and well prepared. I love the falafel, chicken and beef shawarma, and the zatar and cheese Mana'Ish. The lamb gyro wrap was also delicious. The hummus is some of the best I've had locally, so smooth.
Hands down best Arab food in the area! The Sujook pizza is to die for. Gyro wrap is fabulous and they have a huge drink selection!

i eat here way more than i should but its just too good to avoid. i typically get an assortment of the savory pastries, square meat pies, cheese pocket and beef sambuse are my favorite. I also really enjoy the cheese and sojuk sausage pizza, as well as the lahmejun. Its family owned and the staff are super friendly and attentive.
Drove 30 minutes to get dinner for my son and his best friend (they're adults but my son was working and they don't get to visit often). Dinner was excellent as always.
FurnSaj in Calabasses is a great middle eastern restaurant to try. I would return when I the area again. I had the za'atar lebne manaeesh. It was so delicious. 😋😋 My husband also enjoyed his cheese manaeesh. I recommend this restaurant if you like middle eastern cuisine or just enjoy trying new food.
Wow .. what an amazing restaurant!!! Food is delicious, generous and served with love. Feels like i am back home. Can't recommend them enough! ❤️🤤
Unfortunately they are closing at 6,. Kindly correct your website information I drove 30m to see the lights were out.:))

I recently visited a Mediterranean restaurant and had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful — I especially enjoyed wrap. Everything was well-seasoned and served promptly. Portions were generous for the price. Whether you’re craving something light or hearty, this place has a solid menu. I’d definitely come back!
The place is set up as a counter order and not a full service place. They do have indoor and nice outdoor seating area. We got the he combo plate 1/2 beef and chicken. With salad and rice as the side dishes. I am from Chicago area and we have great mediterranean places! Meat flavor was ok, very light flavor, we also felt the meat was too er cooked and on the dry side. Rice had little flavor and salad was fine. One nice thing is that they offer gluten free wraps! Food taste 3 out of 5 Food quality 3.5 out of 5 Service 4 out of 5 It’s not a bad place, I just much better quality and more flavorful mediterranean food. It’s worth a shot, but if you used to super high-quality Mediterranean food, you might walk away, feeling a little disappointed.

Took my wife for Arabian pizza (shawarma). The food was delicious and plenty — pretty much perfectly cooked (although it _does_ innovate, so if you're looking for the sauce, you might need to make a special request). Now, when I say "plenty," remember that I'm a guy who "loves his stomach." Price may feel about 5-10% over value, but when you calculate carefully, it's only about 1-3% over value. Especially since you're likely to spend a lot of money to find a better place (e.g. a plane ticket to Aqaba). Service was absolute top-notch: almost made us feel like we owned the place, were back at home, or at least were regular favorite patrons. Atmosphere was close, cozy, modern, and homely - almost like a hotel.

I don’t usually write reviews and as I ate and bit into another undercooked hand pie I still wasn’t going to leave a review but after I found what I can only assume is an animal hair baked into the dough. I decided to write something. I got three hand pies one vegan potato and two beef. All three of them were under cooked- one of which had a small hair inside. The patties were tasty but would not go back and risk either things again.

The falafel is not what it used to be. They've changed the recipe or something. Shawerma is better than before.
raw, spoiled, rotten food. the customer service was terrible. they refused to refund us and said they have a serious no refund policy (which isn't written anywhere). they offered to remake my food but i refused because my friends beef was spoiled which only told me that they aren't using fresh ingredients. Definitely expired food. i took one bite of my food and tasted raw dough that had hint of bitterness that was just a sign that if i continued, i would get food poisoning. everything was dirty inside (like the lemonade dispenser). my soda also had weird black stuff in it. paid $20 for bad food and horrible service. not the right place to get mediterranean food.
