The restaurant is in Alameda, which is a very populous neighborhood in Cali. Despite its unassuming appearance, they have the best ceviche in town. Locals come from all over the city to have it. You can tell by the other restaurants with similar names that Pedro Jr is the original and has been a staple of Pacific food for many years. I tried the cazuela and it was very good too.
Este es un sitio muy popular en Cali. La comida es deliciosa. Plan perfecto de fin de semana: visitar la Galería Alameda y comer aquí. Puede haber una fila larga en hora punta.
Es un excelente lugar para probar la comida del pacífico colombiano. Teníamos miedo de que el lugar solo fuera viral en redes sociales sin ser realmente bueno. No es el caso. Definitivamente, el sabor no tiene comparación, el tamaño de sus platos es generoso, auténtica comida del pacifico, la carta es muy variada y dependerá de las preferencias pero lo más recomendable sería el ceviche y las cazuelas. Si va en fin de semana, el lugar está bastante transitado, por lo que el servicio puede demorar un poco. El ambiente es cerrado, estéticamente no es el mejor de la zona pero eso pasa a segundo plano cuando disfrutas del plato.
Estos platos son una auténtica celebración de la cocina costeña y una muestra de cómo el sabor, la frescura y la sazón pueden transformar una comida en una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el primer vistazo, se nota el esmero en la presentación y en la selección de ingredientes que evocan lo mejor del mar y de la tradición caribeña colombiana. El primer plato destaca por su cremosidad y generosidad de ingredientes. La mezcla de mayonesa, cebolla morada y aguacate crea una textura suave, acompañada de notas frescas y especiadas que equilibran perfectamente el sabor del marisco, probablemente camarón o pescado. El mejor ceviche de camarones y cazuela de mariscos que he comido. La frescura de los mariscos se nota inmediatamente, la sazón es incomparable y la atención es muy buena. Fuimos 3 días seguidos a almorzar allí. Super recomendado!
Mi lugar favorito para comer mar , atienden hasta tarde , si me ocupo trabajando puedo almorzar aquí fácilmente 5 pm , tiempo de entrega 8 minutos o menos , comida fresca y con todo el power del pacifico

My wife wanted to have some ceviche and my brother in law knew this place, I have to say that I tried some and it was awesome, It was so good that we returned the next day and got some for take out. First night were attended by Sir Pedro Jr himself. When I return to Cali, I will surely return for some more Ceviche 😎👍👍👍👍
You have to try this restaurant. Amazing food and fantastic service. The owner himself came.a few times and asked if everything was fine. I wanted a fish that they didn't have by the time we arrived, since it was late. He went and got one just for me in no time. On top of that, it was the best sierra I've ever had. Dorada was also 10/10. Considerjng it was the biggest sierra I've ever had, the prices are more than reasonable. Expected to pay at least 25% more than I had to. This is my place of seafood now in Cali. Will be back many times.

The food was really good although they did try to charge us way more for the market price, because we are Americans although my Colombian friend fixed it. Service was great.

Try a pitcher (jarra) of lemonade if it's a hot day. An informal, open atmosphere with an army of waiters/waitresses who shuffle around taking and delivering orders ensuring quick service. Frequently very crowded, especially on weekends, food quality can vary, depending on specific dishes. Our visits were on "bad" days but you may have better results.
