The knowledge and attention to intolerances is also appreciated. The only thing that could be improved: a written wine list, rather than just verbally illustrated.

A beautiful chalet in the mountains. It's a lovely place that not only offers mountain specialties but also offers excellent, sophisticated dishes with a focus on vegan and vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. A special mention for the vegan rice pudding dessert, truly excellent! I'll also leave some photos of the dishes we ordered, including the platter and the chalet mascot.

Very nice warm inside, mountain hut style, wooden tables, everything very clean and tidy. Menu based on mountain dishes, polenta concia that we didn't like much, polenta gnocchi and more. Normal portions. Homemade desserts, good. A bit exaggerated prices, but in many places in Zegna it is like that.

A lunch with ups and downs, I'm not sure if it was due to the unusual day (August 15th) or if the food is always the same, for better or for worse. The cold cuts platter was good, nothing to complain about; the ravioli del plin were neither good nor bad, a bit far from the ravioli del plin I've eaten in Monferrato. The polenta gnocchi were bland, and the fondue, which could have helped, was far too delicate. The mushroom risotto, on the other hand, was a real disaster: the rice was uneven, not cooked properly, and the mushrooms... well, they reminded me a lot of the frozen ones from the supermarket, tasteless. The main courses, however, were good: the braised beef was very tender, as was the venison, and the polenta concia was very good. The wine list is certainly impressive, considering the prices; perhaps a few more options under €20 wouldn't hurt. One last thought: it's true that the price list stated that the mushroom risotto would cost €17, but trust me, €10 would already have been too much. Perhaps, in addition to thinking about raising the price, it would have been useful to also raise the standard in the kitchen 🙂 .
