If you like seafood, don't hesitate. The restaurant is not in the front of the sea but the waiters are very nice, the food tasty and the wine local and good. Don't forget to try the "drunked cake" for the dessert.

The food absolutely deserves 5 stars. Although, the service and atmosphere completely detracted from the overall dining experience. Very typical Ligurian dishes that are well prepared. Seafood was fresh and tasty. However, the service was rough. The lady responsible for the table service was so cold, it made for an unpleasant vibe. Wish I could give a higher rating since just about everything I ate was delicious. But the service was that off putting. Quite expensive.

During our holiday we visited Da Paolo twice. This review summarises both visits. First of all, it should be emphasised that the food is very good and therefore a visit to Da Paolo is worthwhile on its own! But it should also be emphasised at this point that good food alone does not make a great restaurant visit! Especially if you are listed in the Michelin Guide. First visit: very good food, courteous and professional service. All in all, a successful evening. Rating: 5/5. Second visit: good food, overloaded and unprofessional service team. All in all, a disappointment. Rating: 1/5. Details: The second course (primi after aperetiv) has been forgotten. The waitress did not apologise, but simply said that the course could be taken off the bill. One of the main courses was the wrong dish. Without being asked, the bill was brought to us by a waitress who did not speak english. It was therefore not possible for us to give any feedback at that stage. At a price of 160 € for two for a dinner (although the second course has been forgotten), this is a very disrespectful behavior to his guests. We hope that Da Paolo takes this feedback serious in order to remain one of the best restaurants in Camogli, even among the tourists.

Don't waste your time and money. I was there to have some nice grilled fish and it was desapointing. The waiters are not professional. And what they want is that you eat fast to set the table as fast as possible. I went there with my wife and a couple frendas and 3 kids. We had 2 fishes on the salt that we divide for 4 adults and... Was terrible. The person that was making the plats has no ideia how to do it. From one fish with 700gr I think me and my wife could eat 100gr each one. The plate was horrible, just the fish fillet and 2 small and poor potatoes. The bread that we payed 9euros per basket was old and before we could eat it the waiter took it out from the table. The French fried potatoes from the kids was frozen and tasting old and burned oil. The wine list is poor. The price you will pay you not belive. I live in Switzerland where everything is very expensive but this one can be 3 times more expensive than Switzerland. I just don't understand how can they be in the Guia Michelin. Don't wast your time.

A nightmare ! Outrageous ! You will pay 80 euros for a fish (for 2), they will serve you only 1 potato (not even peeled...) as a side dish. I didn't expect much but they give you the feeling that everything is a scam (a 100 euros bill with no starter, and no dessert). They dont care about the client, you are just a wallet for them...

Very disappointing. After a lovely week in Camogli we decided to dine at Paolo on our last night. Indifferent and overly formal staff. A joyless experience and very overpriced. As for the food .... We had much better in Cucu and other restaurants in Camogli at half the price. Don't be fooled by the mention of Michelin on the door. There are no stars!!
