Really good service. Food was great. Was pretty quiet when we were there, but im not complaining. They have an appetizer that is a roll of sourdough sliced into connected sections. I think there was a bit of olive oil, for sure pesto, then mozzarella cheese with some balsamic on top. So delicious!! I'd go back just for that item. Gotta burn off all the calories first!!!
Best burger IN THE WORLD! There’s literally no better burger in the whole gods blue earth and I swear. My husband and I order here once a month and just can’t get enough. It’s a ginormous burger (we split it and I can only eat half of my half), juicyyyyyy, with yummyyyyy arugula, grilled bell peppers and perfect buns. The brick fries are well seasoned and the cheese on top is chefs kiss. If you’re dining in, you MUST order the smoked bacon drink. Just go here, you won’t regret it.
It was a Monday night so it was quiet. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We had the cornbread appetizer and Caesar salad. For our entrees, we had the scallop risotto and the very large 1lb burger.
I found my go to spot for when I am visiting for work. Atmosphere is spot on, service was exceptional and the food was incredible. I ordered the 1lb burger, which was delicious, no I could not finish it all. The fries were unique and had a delightful crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. They have a very good bourbon selection, even though prices were a bit on the higher side (California). $38.00 for 2 ounces of EH Taylor Barrel Proof. Upscale atmosphere that is still comfortable and approachable for all!
My family and I first visited this place 7-9 years ago and have enjoyed it ever since, and we have recently came back for valentine’s dinner. modern ambience and excellent service made for a great dining experience. The dinner presentation was superb. The medium steak was juicy, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked. The poke with glazed sauce was outstanding, and the handmade bread was delightful. Don’t forget to remind the hosts if it’s a guest’s birthday for a free dessert.
We shared a wonderful pre Christmas dinner with family and friends. The food was fantastic, our server was good until he was pulled away for a large party near the end of our meal. The wine choices were good and the desserts were special. The music selection was a bit loud. It was pop music which made it hard to hear and didn't give the right atmosphere in my opinion.
Definitely a 5-stars restaurant! We came to celebrate my birthday at lunchtime. The service was very pleasant. We ordered a New York Steak and Filet Mignons. High quality meat and absolutely delicious. We also ordered appetizers (Pesto-cheesey bread and short rib flatbread), which were big enough to share and also were very good. The environment is nice and cozy. We really enjoyed it and most certainly will come back again.
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Campbell. If you're looking for delicious, high end dining, look no further. I had the bone in ribeye and it was bomb. They can stand to have more gluten free, soy free items (especially appetizers) but I was happy with the selection nonetheless.
Went here for valentine's day dinner. The ambience was good. It was upscale and not too loud or noisy even though it was a big place. The food is pretty expensive, but it's $$$ sign restaurant and we know that before going in. All the items we had were really good, felt like quality ingredients were used. I usually don't like Mac n cheese, but I loved theirs. It was pretty lighty and had a crusty layer. Sauteed mushrooms was good as a side. Pesto bread was hot and yumm. The sticky chicken and rice was great. My boyfriend had a rum cocktail and said it was really good and strong!
Easy and inviting atmosphere. Good quality & fresh ingredients. The wedge salad is one of the best I've had at any restaurant. Their beef stroganoff was good, but a little bland. They can season it a bit more IMHO. Excellent bar menu, although I believe $19 for a glass of chardonnay is a bit much. Service was reasonably fast and very friendly. All in all grade "A" experience, but not quite A+.
My wife and I had an appointment in Campbell, and we were looking for a place to have a late lunch. We chanced upon the establishment beside Willard Hicks, but they had just closed for the afternoon. Fortunately Willard Hicks remains open throughout the day, so we decided to go in; we were already hungry. Upon entering, you get this old world vibe, the interior was cozy, the tall windows made it bright yet the atmosphere was relaxed; perfect for that late lunch or early dinner. To make a long story short, the service was good, and the food was great. My wife ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl, and I got the Now This Is A Steak Burger (yup, that’s the name on the menu). It’s a one pound beef patty with arugula, crispy onions, and bacon; but what sets it apart from other restaurant burgers is the addition of lightly roasted bell peppers instead of the usual slices of tomatoes. The massive burger comes with huge house cut fries, and small servings of ketchup and aioli on the side; perfect complement to the meal. I didn’t attempt to eat the burger by hand because I knew I would make a mess. I know, some of you burger purists may be rolling your eyes, but it was just as well. After all, it was “steak burger.” With knife and fork in hand, I dug in and it was burger bliss. I’m always on the lookout for great burgers, and I may have just found a new list topper! The poke bowl was scrumptious, that well-balanced umami freshness perks you up with each nibble. Although we didn’t order drinks, I think a nice, cold dark beer would go well with the burger; and for the poke bowl a nice riesling or a gewurztraminer perhaps. I look forward to our next visit. The menu items are varied and the preparations look quite inviting. Parking is easy during early afternoon hours. There’s both street parking and a free parking building nearby. This should be the case for all commercial areas, make it easy for customers to come and park free! Pretty sure this makes any area attractive to people. Lots of shops along Campbell Ave., nice to take a short walk after a great meal. I will likely update this to five stars when we come back and try the other menu items.
It was a great experience. Had lunch here with my sister, brother-in-law and my nephews. We all loved the food. The staff were so nice and polite. We walked in a little after lunch time, to avoid wait time, they accommodated us quickly, they asked us if we wanted outdoor patio seating where we could enjoy the sun or inside. We ended up sitting inside but close by the door of the patio. I enjoyed the burger and steak which was cooked perfectly. They did somehow forget one of our orders in which they escalated it but still came out a little later. Our server and manager came over and apologized about the confusion. Nonetheless, everything was resolved. I would go back here again and would like to experience it during the evening. 🤙🏾😊👍🏾
Update: Pros: spacious, super polite and attentive server (Xaviar), good selection of food, tasty food, dessert was big, mushroom appetizer was simple but yummy. Cons: too noisy for a $$$ restaurant, too much sauce on the salad and on the food. parking was not easy 3 Stars: Pros: attentive servers, nice environment, soft and yummy back ribs, big portions Cons: Caesar salad was too spicy, with not much cheese. Hamburger was filled with bell peppers, rather than different veggies that usually goes with burger, only 4-5 pieces of fries in each plate! my husband's burger was supposed to be medium-well, but it was pink inside.
Ate here with my aunt, sister, and brother-in-law on a Friday night. My BIL recommended the place after having dinner here a handful of times. PROS: * Food was very good. I recommend the savory mushrooms and Mac and cheese for sides. For my entree I had the pasta and pork spare rib dish, and it really hit the spot. The meat was rich and tasty and the cheese they used in the pasta was A+. * Nice TVs in the bar to look over at -- a Warriors game was appreciably aired. CONS: * The side fries we had were coated with a bit too much Cajun powder that it made my throat itchy. * Music a bit too loud to comfortably have a conversation with my party. In fact I think it was so loud our waiter gave us the wrong side (we ordered a baked potato and got mashed potatoes instead). No big deal on the error though. I'd come back again! Food was tasty, just wish it didn't sound like a night club.
It was not my first time here. We've been here a dozen times or more. Sat at the bar during happy hour. Ordered a gin martini. The drinks were good. And then ordered a chopped salad. Which was not good. Croutons were soggy, lettuce was wilted, and dressing had no flavor. Also, they don't have tonic water in a bottle it all comes out of the gun. Buy some Fever Tree tonic water. I thought only dive bars use tonic water out of the gun.
Six of us went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Drinks took a long time. I ordered NY Strip medium well. That was so hard that I had to literally use force. Showed it to the server who tried to reason it away saying that it was because I ordered medium well! I changed the order to a filet which was excellent, but I was eating it while others were having their desserts. Spent $440 for not a good experience. We had similar not so good experience in the Morgan Hill location two years ago.
We got lunch here! We enjoyed the Caesar salad and short rib pasta but the portions were pretty small. The Caesar was small and deconstructed which I’m not a fan of. I expected more pasta for the price as well. Service was very slow despite most of the tables being empty, but maybe that’s because there was a private party in the back. The space is nice, warm and welcoming and the staff is friendly. Just not sure it’s worth it for the price for lunch.
Classic American fare on the pricier side in downtown Campbell with a nice ambiance. We had a large dinner party and were lucky to get the private room. Our waiter was nice although we wished that they had come by more frequently. They ran out of one beer that we first ordered, but when we ordered another one, they came back and told us they were out as well. We ended up getting Guinness in the end. Food was good but in my opinion not worth the price. The calamari steak , pesto cheesy bread, street tacos and pork chops were all very good, but the baby back ribs were overcooked and way too dry. The burger is impressively huge, with 1 pound of steak meat in the middle! Crème brûlée was good as well. The waiter promised free dessert because they ran out of two types of beer that we ordered, but in the end they still charged us for the dessert. Overall an average dining experience.
Went New Year’s Eve 1/31/25 - 6:15 pm The service is slow and the waitress not really trying . We spent $400 and split bill - one card is charged $300 and $174.00?? .my husbands $60.00 filet is small and got his potato toppings all wrong . We got 4 glasses of wine . The scallops/ Risotto was very good. This chain needs to Give Attentive service for spending that much and act like they care about their customers- sorry really disappointed. The one is Morgan Hill has lack of service as well .
My daughter made a reservation to celebrate my birthday I was so excited having my daughter celebrating my birthday. what are big disappointment, server was not attentive to us, we asked for drinks it took him awhile to get one glass of wine and one iced tea we ordered our appetizer we got it like a 25 minutes later we finish it the server never come to check on us to see if we were ready to order our main course till we ask for him 30 minutes passed already to take our order after our appetizer, we got our food he did not checked on us if everything was good until we were about to finish he was passing by and asked us if everything was fine. And then he said all right I'll get your free dessert for your birthday, making it sound like if that was the main purpose for us to dine there, he got me an old chocolate chip cookie as hard as a rock we did not eat it and he never asked if it was okay or not, we ordered an adicional dessert to make it up the of the bad taste on our mouth. We noticed he had other tables where he was aware of them taking care of all other customers except for us. "thank you for your response. The information you are asking for is in the image of the receipt I have attached. I would love to try again someday and give your restaurant another chance." I sent from an email several days ago I never got a response 😕 😐
