Hi, I want to congratulate this place because it's the best in Campeche's historic center! I don't have any pictures, but it has a unique flavor without disrespecting traditional cuisine. We're from Mérida, but we're absolutely delighted with the taste.
Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly, attentive & explained what everything on the menu was. The negritos & the lime soup was delicious with affordable prices. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
A place with many years of experience, under the portals of San Martin, where you can eat delicious food. The baked and torteados tamales are a delight.
Our taxi recommended us this place when we arrived in Campeche It was right next to our hotel . It is definitely a good option. The food is great, hearty and very affordable !there were only locals eating at this place . Too bad that they don’t serve breakfast . The service is very friendly. We were very touched by one of the waiter who helped us out to book 2 taxis for our families the next day . He went as far as to check that we both arrived at our locations .
The lime soup and negrito pierna were both DELICIOUS. This is not where you come to stick to your diet. The tamale was like no tamale I had ever had before, very unique.
Here you can eat where and what the locals eat. Very good and traditional Mexican food for a fair price. Try the Agua Fresca - it was awesome! 😊
Excellent food and good prices. My wife's lime soup was full of turkey and my panuchos were delicious. I would rather avoid the empanadas.. All of the tables are full of local people and also a lot of drivers queuing for takeout. We highly recommend!

One of the best places to dine in Campeche City, serving traditional dishes with authentic Campeche flavor. Try the panuchos, turkey soup, and the unmissable ham sandwich. Don't miss their horchata with grape ice—a true delight, especially refreshing in the city's heat. Reasonable prices and fast service.
Very delicious and cheap. I ordered the sincronizados, panuchos and negritos sencillo which are vegetarian. And vegan if you order it without cheese

A good place for dinner, though a bit tricky to get to because it's so close to the city center. I recommend the limeade; it's delicious.
A classic diner near the city center. The service is good and there's parking available. Prices are reasonable, the broths with offal are flavorful and have a good amount of meat. The panuchos are tasty, but I recommend the negritos more for their bean flavor. They accept cards. Recommended.
This place is quite nice. The food was good and the atmosphere is rustic. The tables are all in front on the sidewalk. The owner was very eager to please with our ordering and brought a couple of small samples of the different kinds of soup. Menudo here is not a soup. It's a stew of turkey, turkey hearts, liver and giblets. You can have just the stew or in a bowl of Limon or consomé soup. A couple of other turkey options including Tamales. The flan was excellent. Overall a great experience and we'll try to fit in another visit. Agua frescas are home made and really worth trying.
Service can be improved
Real local taste! Come with patience and attitude for a slow service, but very tasty. Definitely will come again.
Good place for a quick lunch, try tranca surtida
They open at 10:00 am The masa colada tamale lacked a good flavor. Peaceful place. It's good for a morning coffee.
