Although the food was just ok the service was top notch. Benjamin went above and beyond providing excellent service. I would come there again requesting him aa my server.

The Flank Steak is the best beef I had in Cancun. I asked Edwin, my waiter, and he explained it to me that it’s marinated and prepared not with coil, but with wood. It explains the special taste and smell.

The flank steak was fantastic. The smoky taste was amazing, and every bite was absolutely satisfying. The staff (our server was Edwin) were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

Got at the doors at 545pm to beat the crowds. At first I thought it would take a while to be seated but to my surprise the reception moved everyone along quite fast and we were seated. Party of 3. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. We all enjoyed excellent ribeyes along with our favourite drink. Would definitely do this again.

The best restaurant on the resort by far it was a fantastic place to eat. The food was amazing watching the chefs cook in the background was amazing to watch watching the food come out and all the different. The variety of food was lovely. Manuel was our server tonight and he was absolutely the best! He had serving suggestions and a smile the entire night and we really loved the quick prompt friendly service he gave, the food was also nothing short of amazing but the atmosphere really brought it to a 5 star review. We had the Cesar salad, French onion soup, beef tenderloin, and ribeye. Prepared so so amazing!!! Great recommendations from Manuel!!!!

The last night of our trip, we decided to try this steak house. I’m VERY glad we did ! I got the Flank steak…& was a little bit nervous of my decision !?! But, I gotta tell ya…IT WAS DELICIOUS !! Compliments to the chef 👩🏾‍🍳 !!! Atmosphere was good, service was good, & the food was tasty. 😋 Best cheesecake in the area ! 😁🤩

My girlfriend was thoroughly impressed by this à la carte restaurant at this beautiful resort. The Petit Filet was moist and tender and a definate must try if you're a fan of rare-cooked thick slices of quality beef. Try it with green peppercorn sauce. Their beef comes from Canada, BTW. The New York strip steak is also a popular choice, and probably the largest portion they serve. The Ceasar salad and onion soup appetizers are very well executed, and the desserts were also decent! This darkly lit dining room is well decorated and has open windows towards the kitchen where they cook the steaks over open flames. Just don't sit under the hanging knives unless you like living on the edge ;-)

It was great food. My steak was very delicious. I got the large Filet. Our group of 6 only waited 30 minutes to get seated.

4/5 overall. It was very tasty but not 5 star tasty! Service was exceptional as always, our waiter was amazing and the chef personally came and made sure everything was ok with my kids food since they have allergies. Very diligent and professional! Ahi tuna carpaccio was really good!

Great place to eat at the Royalton, however; I recommend paying for a bottle of wine to skip the wait list which is usually over an hour as this place is extremely popular. Upgrading to a bottle of wine also gets you access to speciality cuts

We had a great dinning experience at this steakhouse. Yes, reservations highly recommended, because most of the time they are fully booked. Servers here were fun and friendly . We definitely received great services during dining. We ordered three different kind of beef , including brisket, ribeye, steak, and new strip, all were very tasty, especially when paired with the red wine and pepper sauces. Remember to ask for the HOT pepper sauce if you like spicy. I mean, this is not America spicy. This is Mexican spicy. The hot sauce was made with fresh jalapeños. It was delicious. For appetizer, we had the corn soup and the corn fritz. Also the crabcake. The only one I was unhappy with was the crabcake. There was no crab meat inside the cake at all, nor tasted craby. It was a googy paste inside and fried. I wasn’t sure if it was just how they make the crabcake or is it because I just compare all the crabcake to the Maryland Crabcake, so far nothing even is comparable with Maryland crabcake. Our overall experience was satisfactory and do recommend @WineDinenVacay

After five days, we finally got a table at 6 pm. The hall was quite dark and loud, so if given the option, I’d choose to sit outside. We ordered the chorizo as an appetizer and then the three of us shared the big grill mix, tenderloin, rib eye, and flank steak. Also ordered a cauliflower steak. I really liked the cauliflower. The steaks were fine for resort food, but obviously not as good as if you grilled them at home. Service was attentive. Finished with a cheesecake and it was great.

The decoration is elegant. There is always a line at this restaurant. If you don't have a reservation, you might be able to get in there around 9pm. The indoor area has AC but it is not cold but also not too hot. Food was ok. The appetizer dish was small, enough for one person. Do not order crab cake because it is not a crab cake. Corn chowder soup was good. The grilled fish was better than the steak. The steak was a thin cut without seasoning. On that day, I saw only one chef grilling everything for every table. So we waited for the main dishes at least 30 minutes after we finished our appetizer. The next table ordered the dessert and there was a little show with fire which was kind of cool.

We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a table. Our server was attentive, but our steaks were served well-done when I ordered it medium. It was not worth the wait.

I almost never send back or refuse to finish my food, but wow - this place was terrible. How is it possible, that the one dedicated “steak” place here has the worst steak? Undercooked, poor and slow service, and just plain weird tasting. Nice decoration, though.

We had our dinner today there (royalton splash) The waiter (alexndro) was really impolite and rude, i waited my family and then he asked me twice where are they? Then i asked him to start with soup until they here and he said order should be done all together!! Then when we order a first time, we wanted to add another order and he said (Oh i told you the order should be done one time?!!) He was really impolite, and he brought the dishes in the table in very unprofessional way Her just ruined our experience I hope that reach to manager

After being turned away the first night due to not being in the Diamond club and not able to make reservations, we have it a second try. We were squeezed into a table and my wife ended up sharing the corner of the table with her sister. We were told of we wanted a different table we would need to go to the back of the line... The food was so so, but nothing that will be missed. If you are looking for a great Steak House experience, this is not it.

Steak wasn’t bad but it had a lot of fat and a lot of salt to the point where it was hard to eat. It’s so hot in here that everyone is literally dripping sweat. Doesn’t help that the door is left open on top of there being no air conditioning. Crab cakes are the best starter on the menu. I wouldn’t recommend the rib eye, it is way too thin.

Upon entering, we were met with an overpowering odor of sewage. The kitchen appeared disturbingly chaotic, resembling a crime scene, black walls, black ceiling, sweat and blood everywhere. After ordering a single glass of champagne and waiting five minutes without service, we got up and walked out.
