Good taste, we like their tacos, delicious. Comfort services and provides free water manytimes. In my opinion, It's best restaurants in the hotel zone.
The food was lovely. We loved the ambiance. You could overlook the lagoon and watch all the boats as they left the dock or came back in. The music was nice too and the wait staff are very attentive. They also speak English and Spanish which is great if your Spanish isn't fluent.
Very cozy restaurant with sunset harbor view terrace. Food was very delicious and fancy. We had Fruit Dimare and Chicken pastas, they served quite big portions, right enough to get full. Seafood was very fresh and well made. Ice-cream was a little bit simpler than we expected. Everything was made very fast. Reasonable prices.
Loved this place! It was after lunch and me and my daughter just wanted to try it out as it looks cool and we requested to be seated by the side overlooking the lagoon. The servers were amazing and attentive to our needs. Very helpful with recommendations. And when we tried their food - DELICIOUS AND TASTY! Price is reasonable, portions are great. Their supervisor was also very helpful making sure we are doing great and our needs are met. Their bathrooms are well kept and clean. And at the end of a great meal, they surprised me with a cake (with sparklers!) and singing as I am actually celebrating my birthday (they asked at the front). What a kind and thoughtful gesture I will never forget. We will return on their Eat All You Can on Wednesday!
Nice midrange casual lunch in a location with character. Staff very happy to have us...great service from all! I enjoyed the many tasty alcohol-free beverage options and the wife approved of the cocktails. We split the Molcajete and glad we did...too much food for one...also got the Carmel shrimp tostata...highly recommend!
My family and I enjoyed eating at Las Hijas de la Tostada in Cancun in June 2024. The views to the Lagoon are great from the open concept colourful restaurant. We saw an aligator just cruising the lagoon and chilling. The tostadas de camarón and Atún were incredible. The attention from the waiters was also very good.
Absolutely recommend! I wish we had found this place earlier, because we would’ve visited more! We first visited for drinks, which was absolutely amazing! I got the pomelita - which was delicious. Then, we came back the next day and got lunch. The staff remembered us actually, and Derrick was the most helpful person! Gave multiple excellent recommendations (such as the different water refreshers - which is an absolute must have! They are so refreshing!) that ended up being absolutely delicious. I ordered the Mezcal pasta which was absolutely delicious, perfectly al dente and the salmon and shrimp were perfectly cooked. My friend’s tuna dish was recommended to us and it was absolutely amazing and cooked so well. She doesn’t even normally like tuna but loved the dish. You also get free chips and salsa as you wait for your food (which comes out very fast)! Just an absolutely amazing experience and an amazing view as you eat. The restaurant is also decorated very cutely and Derrick even helped us take photos for us. So, great atmosphere, great service, great food!
If you’re in Cancun, you definitely have to check this place out! I kept passing by it until one day finally got the chance to try it. One of the best tostadas I’ve tasted as they’re loaded with flavour. It’s literally a mountain of fresh ingredients on top of a tostada! The rest of their menu looks delightful but I’ve yet to try it all. The staff and service is exceptional! The waiter checked on me regularly and even brought over bug spray without me even asking as he noticed mosquitoes around. I gave my compliments to the manager who evidently leads his team with excellence—thank you! (My photos are from different days as I had to return and show my friend the great experience I had) I’ll definitely be back soon! :)
Really liked it. The drinks were absolutely amazing. They were all suggested to us and were on point. They have a wide variety of cocktails, wine and beer, so there's something for everyone. We had mostly tostadas and tacos as we were there for a light lunch, and they were all very good. The aguachile was spicy! The place is very beautiful and beachy decorated, with a lovely view of the Nichupté lagoon. Service was good and friendly, bathrooms were clean. Lots of stairs for going in, I don't think it's wheelchair-friendly.
Excellent tacos and Sopa de Mariscos here! Our server Ramiro is friendly and attentive. We will return for the all you can seafood buffet on Wednesdays for $399 (Mexican pesos) per person.

We enjoyed the tostadas at this restaurant . I ordered the cooked shrimp tostadas (Camarón Tostadas Frias), which were tasty. It was nice to have a light meal full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The service was friendly. Also liked the open air setting above a pretty lagoon. We saw a mosquito fly by but thankfully were not stung.
The food was absolutely amazing — everything we tried was delicious and full of flavor! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and very understanding of customer requests, which made the experience even better. The only downside was that the seating comfort could be improved, and there were a few mosquitoes around. If that area gets cleaned up, the place would be simply perfect!
Came here March 2025. Service, location and atmosphere is top notch. Most servers speak english. Ordered the molcajete, and guacamole nachos. Guac was a bit bland but the rest was pretty good. My margarita had lots of booze you can taste it. Hopefully I can try the ceviche next time I visit and give it a better score.
The food is really good, and I felt so welcomed by all the people there. However when comes to pay the bill, no courtesy to ask for the tip, just deducted 100 peso without the receipt, I really don’t mind to tip for their good services, just don’t feel good about this at all.
I’ve been coming here for years and have always found it to be a reliable spot. On my most recent visit, I ordered two tostadas: the Lacanjá and the Octopus. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t live up to my usual expectations. The Lacanjá tostada tasted fine, but the server mentioned it would be spicy due to the Serrano peppers. However, there was no noticeable heat—no spice at all, which was a letdown considering the description. The Octopus tostada was the real disappointment. It was extremely rubbery—honestly inedible. It had the texture of a tire, which made it impossible to enjoy. On the bright side, the service was excellent. The staff removed the uneaten tostada from the check without any issue and even offered to replace it. I appreciated that, though I declined a replacement as I didn’t want to take another risk. After the fact, I noticed another review also mentioning the poor quality of the octopus, so I’d strongly recommend avoiding it here. Overall, while the service remains top-notch, the food this time—especially the octopus—was a miss. Hopefully, it was just an off day.
The food is "ok" by western standards. None of the creativity and zest I've come to expect from Mexican cuisine. It is a "tourist eatery." A 'Denny's with a view' for those adverse to spice or strong flavor profiles. The staff us accommodating and polite, but you won't miss is when you leave.
I wanted to try something other than Mexican and came across this spot close to where I was staying. The spot was super cute and we were served by a nice waitress. For drinks I ordered the red wine which I enjoyed. When it came to the meal I had trouble figuring out what I wanted. I ended up ordering a burger. The waitress came out and said they can make the burger into sliders because the bread was more fresh which I understood. When the food came out it looked tasty but it was not so good. I didn't like the tatse and the fries were way too salty. My friend enjoyed her coconut shrimp. It did smell good. The cost was affordable but the food was not so great. My experience was rather mediocre.

Good menu selection, and cozy environment; terrible experience with food salty as hell, a rusted screw head was found in one of the plates; the manager on duty had no empathy, the waiter and cook were apologetic but how no idea about what to say. The screw came from a handle in the kitchen, no one had any idea if food safety or standards. If you are looking for a out of the ordinary experience and ruin your family's dinner go there you don't need a reservation, I promise you'll be literally regretful. We still paid a check for $110.00+ and the waiter made a face for a decent tip.
