Fantastic stay at Lakeview Cannobio. The staff is very sweet, the view is indeed amazing. We have also liked the playgrounds for kids and the fact that it is quite a small camping place but with many comodities (laundry spot, little beach, bar/restaurant, mini supermarket...). The only thing to note is that the road right below has a lot of traffic - can be disturbing when you are sensitive to noise. Overall a great stay!

The staff are fantastic and our daughter loved the interactions. The food at the restaurant was great and the terrace and view was incredible! The playground at the restaurant and the one at the private beach was also our a favorite. We will definitely be back! Thank you Wolfgang and the rest of the Lakeview team! Went there with my fiancé and the view was the first thing that hit us. We enjoyed it a lot. After that we noticed that the people were super kind. This got confirmed while we were there again and again. While the views were beautiful, the spots were quite small. This was no problem for us because there were only two of us and we had a small car. However, if you have a bigger family it might be too small. The terrace was very affordable but very good. I would definitely recommend going here.

Fabulous location right on the lake with the most amazing views. We requested a pitch near the lake and got one so close I could sit in our gazebo and watch the kids playing on the beach. There is a road close by but it was quiet at night. The staff are all so friendly and the owners have clearly put a lot of investment into the campsite. They really have thought of everything. The toilets were clean with toilet paper and soap. The washing up area even had detergent and cloths. The location of the site is perfect, a stones throw from Cannobio and on a beautiful unspoiled area of Lake Maggiore. We had a dire weather forecast for the few days we were there but it was sunny and warm. The clouds and storms appear to stick to the mountains leaving the lake calm. Highly recommend this campsite and really hope to return one day!

Beautiful camping place with private beach, equipped with chairs. Very very friendly staff, gave us a very familial vibe. Toilets and shower very clean! Loved it. (Tip: bring bikes or something else To be mobile, walking is not really possible on the road)

the location of this campsite is just fantastic. Each spot offers a great view on the Lago Maggiore. They also have a private beach which can be easily accessed via a very short walk using an underpass. the bathrooms are kept very clean all the times, wifi works very well! It also has a very quiet atmosphere, as camp spots are more spacious and not so near to each other. This campsite is very much recommended!

Absolute relaxation! We stayed in an apartment for a week and enjoyed every minute. The staff is very nice and helpful with every request. The food tastes very good and the prices are very reasonable for today's times. Cannobio is only 5 minutes away by car. The two highlights are the very quiet private beach and the 180 degree lake view you have from the whole campsite. It is clearly noticeable that the new owners are constantly modernising and are open to all ideas and comments for the future. It was one of our best holidays and we will definitely come back.

Booked to visit here in a weeks time, only to be told upon payment of the small entrance- 2.3m wide! We are a 7.5m (allowed, & on their website as stated) but 2.4m wide. After spending much time searching and sourcing what might be a beautiful campsite- we will never know! Told the site to put this restriction on their website- no reply. A refund was given. Now onto finding a site that does say any size restrictions before paying. Thanks for your swift response- your communication I cannot fault, and would in fact reiterate it was very good. However I just want to point out to those who read review before booking- to make sure they are under 2.3m wide- as this is not on your website!

We are staying at this site at the minute. It has gorgeous views - no argument. Facilities are clean. Bar and food is spot on. But - the pitch sizes are ridiculously small and the road below which isn’t in view of the pics on the website is so loud that it’s unreal. Noisy bikes screaming past at 5.00am and 23:00. Awful. Due to the location you are in the shade late into the evening too which for me is really disappointing but not the fault of the campsite obviously. It’s impossible to walk the main road into Cannobio as no paths. So you have to take the scramble / walk / hike. So as lovely as the lake view is, if you’re after peace and tranquility give this place a miss. I’ll be glad to pack up and go. Price for two nights - 101 euro two nights which I feel is expensive . 16 euro for the dog.

Very small, not level pitches. Yes, nice view, but the road next to it gives you a very noisy night. I don’t understand all the good reviews here. Also their pizza was very mediocre. The sanitary is good 🙏
