I had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Cannobia. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and offered a complimentary glass of bubbles, which set the tone for a special evening. The homemade dishes were truly excellent — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, just like an Italian trattoria should be. A special mention goes to our Cuban waitress, who provided exceptional service throughout the night. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely at home. This place fills up quickly, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. It’s absolutely worth it — great food, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back!

Atmospheric restaurant at end of small lane. It is very popular for good reason so make sure to book. Food was delicious and well presented. The walnut Ravioli was full of flavour and the fish delicate and tasty. The staff were attentive and helpful. The best meal of trip so far and priced very reasonably for the quality.

A lovely Tuesday evening in early September having dinner. Table booked in advance. Service and atmosphere perfect, a warm evening sat outside. Food was excellent, antipasto della casa starter followed by pasta, a carafe of house red wine and tiramisu. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Wednesday evenings, otherwise we would have returned.

The most amazingly delicious food. My partner and I had 3 dishes and all 3 were perfection! The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive and the setting was gorgeous. If you can get a table in the lane way facing the lake it’s a beautiful view.

We passed by the restaurant and asked if there was still a table available for two. It was outside, but the weather was good enough. The dishes were very good. The staff was friendly and helpfull, nice place in Cannobio tot have dinner but a reservation upfront is a good idea.

One of my favourite restaurants in Lago Maggiore. This time I went there with my dad to celebrate our last dinner before going back home. The food and the wine is excellent. The value for money is great and the stuff is very fun and welcoming, especially the waiter. Can’t wait to eat there again.

Tasty and fine Raviolis (Cheese & Walnuts) + (lemon). Pizzas are also fine. Many options for vegetarian. We ordered vegetarian foods. Friendly staffs and helpful with good proficiency in English and German.

We visited this restaurant as a result of all the glowing references and I can only confirm and add to them. The homemade raviloli, stuffed with fish from the Lake were superb. The house wine very acceptable. The real revelation, however, was the service - genuinely friendly, charming staff, who were very young, but equally capable. Little touches, like the manager mentioning our name when we left, helped make the experience memorable. The only thing that could have been better was the weather, which meant we couldn't eat outside; we felt like that would have made the experience even better. This was (apples-to-apples) the cheapest and by far the best meal we had in our 2 1/2 days in Cannobio and we will definitely be back. Firm recommendation from me.

Excellent restaurant in an excellent ambience. The service is very caring and pasta they serve is self- made. Not without a reason is it rated so high. Reserve a day or two before you go otherwise you might not get a table.

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Cannobio! We came here for lunch and were absolutely happy with the broad range of wine, the lovely recommendations from the waiter and the delicious food. We can recommend the homemade pasta and the tiramisu!

You find the cozy restaurant in a little side-street. There are just a couple of places to eat outside - but there are more places inside. We enjoyed our dinner by having the self-made ravioli and tortellini. The prices are typical for a restaurant close to the lake.

Preis Leistung top! Bedienung außerordentlich freundlich!

Wir waren zum Abendessen da und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Pizza hat gut geschmeckt, ebenso Prosciutto mit Melone. Die Lage ist im Vergleich zum Trubel die Promenade weiter runter sehr angenehm. Die Preise sind angemessen und eher moderat. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, etwas abseits des Touristenstroms. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und die Toiletten sauber. Nur das Essen fand ich nicht überzeugend. TK-Pizza im Gastro-Ofen erhitzt, entspricht leider nicht meiner Vorstellung von italienischem Essen. Trotzdem insgesamt nett, v.a. für Getränke und das Ambiente.

From my point of view, for the price which you are paying here, you get a very small portion of the food (We had Ravioli). The taste is not bad, but it is not a kind of a restaurant which I would like to go there again.

Sat for 20 minutes no one served us. Walked in to get a menu, they gave us one and then no one came to take our order, then I thought I would go inside to order, they said to go outside and wait for someone to take your order. Went outside and waited for another 10 minutes… still nothing. Went inside and asked again and they just stared at me. Horrible service.
