We recently spent two weeks in Italy and can count our meals at Antica Osteria as the two best of our trip. The atmosphere is cozy and neighborhood feel is welcoming. The service was impeccable and friendly; not stuffy at all. I'm still swooning over the fried zucchini blossoms, swordfish appetizer and pasta dishes. Very nice wine list and good prices.

This was a hidden gem we were delighted to find by accident. There is free public parking (on via Risorgimento) if the spots closer to the restaurant are taken. We had spaghetti with white truffles (from Umbria I was told), Onion soup and pan fried fish on a cream sauce of mushrooms and potatoes. Food was simply excellent and service was as amazing.

I will tell you my experience with my wife. We arrived at the place at 21, we received the menu after 24 minutes sitting drinking water, while the other customers (who spoke Italian) were being well attended at all time. The waiter, despite giving preference to the locals, when he finally served us, he was very polite and friendly. After finally getting the menu and ordering our dishes. In a matter of another 10 minutes they brought us bread in the very dry case and another 15 minutes two small bowls with buratta the chef's style that, I don't know if because I was already purple with hunger, but it was very good. In short, from the other reviews I saw here, I found it overrated. Spare ribs (nothing special), 5/10 Lasagna with shrimps 8,5/10 Risotto parmegiano 8/10 Handcraft Beer 9/10 Ambience 8/10 Very clean place and rly cozy outside tables. Just be careful to get to the place. They are very tight streets (two hands) like all Como / Bellagio city’s.

The food is mediocre, nothing special, I don't think is worth the price. The atmosphere was a bit depressing, we were the only people in the whole place. The service is good. Fun fact, we saw an UFO on the way back to the car, so perhaps is a hot spot for UFOs sightseeing!

I was with my wife and 2 children and first they invited to a garden table. After 5 minutes of waiting we go inside to wash our hands and they said that is full and they can not serve us. Really bad experience !
