We had lunch yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we sat by the patio which is overlooking the ocean. The warm bread and marinara dipping sauce were so good. Both pastas that we ordered were very flavorful. The Pappardelle Sausage Funghi Tartufati had a lot of sausage and porccini mushrooms. The Linguine Alla Genovese Di Mare had bay scallops, huge shrimp, and creamy brandy pesto sauce. Our server is nice and friendly. We will be back.

It is one of the best ocean view Italian restaurants. With both inside an outside seating, you will feel right at home. They have a wonderful wine section. Some night you can enjoy live entertainment.

Great happy hour, like really great, then turned to dinner service. More of a 4.5 stars overall as shrimp were a bit(barely) over cooked and diver scallops were a bit smaller than what the cost would have meant. Taste however was grateful scallops shrimp pasta carpaccio and all. Pappardelle and lobster ravioli highly recommended.

It's like being in Italy on the Mediterranean. You sit there looking over Hwy 101 at the ocean, sipping your chianti and enjoying a bruschetta. We got there when they opened at noon, and there were trays of freshly made pasta and dough for bread and pizzas. The cooks were tearing down beef primal and prepping for the dinner hour. While we ate, the musical entertainment arrived to start setting up. Great little place, limited parking, great ambiance and view, full bar, lots of wines, and really great fresh Italian food.

Omg…If you like Italian food you will love Cicciotti’s! You may be tempted, but Don’t get full off the delicious bread and Italian salsa. This is one of our very favorite places to eat in San Diego for the last 8 years. The hand make the huge pasta noodles, pappardelle. Amazing food and the service is always great. It seems like the servers enjoy working here! They have a full bar and live music many nights. Rich and delicious right by the water!

Food was excellent. So was the service. Restaurant nicely decorated &playing football game for those interested. Located across from a beach, although we arrived at nighttime so couldnt benefit from what imagine must be a GORGEOUS setting. Busy for a Sunday evening which always a great sign. Our waiter Irvin was super nice & attentive. Had coffee, hot chocolate, fried zucchini, fried calamari, gnocchi, linguini w crab & shrimp, cannoli, tiramisu, & pistachio gelato. All was delicious!! Came w free bread amd sauce ti dip in which was delish! HIGHLY reccomend! Oh! And they have $1.50/oyster happy hour EVERY day 4-6pm! Parking in back & across the st. Looked like many fans and locals...always a good sign! Esp on a Sun evening!

Looking forward to trying this place again, preferably at sunset. Came here with a reservation with my friend for dinner around 8pm. It wasn't packed and didn't realize they closed in an hour or more. Service was good, we were tucked away in the corner but our server was nice and friendly. Would come back to try new items at sunset. We also got regular bar drinks for our pre dinner that we ordered. The food was delicious, the lasagna was dense and flavorful. I ended uo not finishing it fully, so I could bring some for lunch the next day. And the bread and tomato was also tasty.

I took my friend here for her birthday, she had the an all vegetable lasagna which was very tasty. I have linguine with clams in a far Diablo sauce, this dish was not good at all, it wasn’t spicy, the clams were tiny and it just had a weird taste. We both ordered soda water and were each charged $3 for water with carbonation. I’ve never ever been charged for this. What a rip off! The bread was pretty good and came with chunky unflavored tomatoes which I guess was supposed to be like a bruschetta. All in all this was my third time to this location and last.

Found this place at a perfect location with an amazing view. You can literally watch sunset from anywhere you sit here. The menu is extensive and gives you a lot of options to explore, We got the Ravioli , grilled chicken, Pizza and seafood pasta. Ravioli was really good, cooked perfectly and nice sauce as well. I didnt really like the pizza , there was no taste, the sauce lacked flavor and the cheese was just cold and dry, felt like eating a stale pizza. The pasta was really nice , bare minimum sauce though but boasted the smoked salmon flavor. Grilled chicken again felt stale, was like a rubber, hard to cut and chew as well. The service is impeccable, they take care of your dining experience. All in all, a good spot for a dinner with some amazing view. I wish the food could be a notch up better.

You can’t beat dinner by the beach! Sunset views too. Sadly the food has almost zero Italian authenticity in flavor and generally bland. Staff were great though. I wanted to love this place… we tried this location instead of Amalfi’s. No comparison at all.

Service was FANTASTIC. The drinks were noticeably watered down. The pasta was sticky and not up to par. The flavor of the chicken was good, however it was chewy. I have been here before and something clearly has changed for the worse . Sure seems like they were taking shortcuts.

Ordered through GrubHub and I was sent the wrong food. They tried to blame the driver however the receipt was for the correct food it was just the wrong food in the bag. Then after I reordered I finally got the correct food (now over 2 hours later) and two bites into my chicken parm I had a nasty long red hair in my food. Absolute garbage. Don't waste your time or your money with this place.

Quite possibly the most disgusting spaghetti I've ever tasted. How do you get spaghetti wrong??!!! Basically mush over-cooked noodles in paste. Stomach ache was nearly instantaneous. Horrible.
