Good food, good drinks. Just tried out the app this week, and everything was ready as soon as I drove there. Comparing to other breakfast places, and it looks like they are paying attention to what their competition is doing.
Coffee is great here but I really come back for the great service! I also really like their breakfast brioche sandwich. Whenever I need an extra something on the morning, I swing by to Peets and grab some coffee and a sandwich!
The staff at this Peet's location are all very friendly. The indoor setup is similar to other locations, but here you can relax and enjoy your latte outdoors at a table under a sun umbrella.
Peet's is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots. The have the best caramel macchiato I've ever had. My go to!
Met a colleague for a morning tea. We got there at a good time because there was absolutely no line. I love all the shops and stores in Bressi Ranch. Very convenient to my house in La Costa
Friendly and quick staff. Within less than 2 minutes from ordering I had my drink. I usually have to wait longer at the other well known coffee shop. Thank you for the prompt service and tasty coffee
I'm from NJ and visiting family in Carlsbad, CA. Because of the 3 hour time difference I'm up at about 4:30 every morning. So I love that Pete's is open at 5:30 every morning during the week and 6am on weekends. I love their coffee and the service is fast and friendly.
Most employees I run into at others stores, weather it's coffee shops or whatever, they are Debbie downers lol. But This pete's coffee location specifically is really good with not being a downer and still having that enjoyable experience with friendly employees and of course , delicious coffee ☕. Quick turn around and cheap prices at the moment make it more enticing. Highly recommended for anyone that's a pete's or coffee fan to grab some from here. Espresso and latte's are really good! No long lines either 👍
Great place to get a Triple Cappuccino. Forget about it. ☕😎🤌🏽 The patio is relaxing. The staff is always friendly.
A really awesome place to sit and sip and eat. Great location, Trader Joe's across the street, many shopping choices in the well thought out Bressi Ranch shopping community. Beautiful flowers abound. On a sunny day, man O man. Forget about it. Check it out.😎
Peet's Coffee in Bressi Ranch Carlsbad, CA is my favorite place to meet a friend for a Coffee Klatsch! My gurlfriend and I enjoy sipping a quality, freshly brewed cup of coffee prepared by their friendly baristas. We sit outside with my puppy under one of their shaded tables. Such a relaxing setting. I meet at Peet's for a happy DAY, not happy hour! 🙂
My first time at a Peet's. They handle the virus situation very safely. The outdoor area is very nice. I brought an Almond croissant home for my wife and me to share. Nice outing.
Loved this place. Erin our barista was very helpful and gave great suggestions on coffee. The coffee in my opinion is better than Starbucks! Quiet area in the heart of the shopping center.
I love Peet’s! Great coffee that is miles above the competition. The staff at Peet’s is always friendly and happy to serve their customers. Five stars easily!
This place brewed the perfect shot of espresso. The crème the flavor, everything. It has been about 20 years since I have had a shot that perfect. Please keep the art alive and keep up your standards and thank you.
This is a very popular Peet’s coffee in Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad. It can get busy, especially on the weekends, but there’s a good reason for that. The coffee is excellent and the outdoor patio right next to a park is fabulous. Every time we give our dog a dog wash at the Petco nearby, we walk over here and treat ourselves to a hot drink and walk our dog in the park. Bressi Ranch is just a wonderful place to walk around. This is a great location and the staff is hard-working and courteous. This is our preferred coffee shop to meet friends for a visit.
I don't give 5 stars to every Peet's. Almost all the friendly staff here will actively chat about how they're constantly learning to make a better coffee. It's rare that you find the coffee shop, of any kind, where the employees seem to care about the product they sell on this level. I've not been disappointed with the coffee once in the 4-5 years I've been coming here.
The manager at Peet's Bressi is great. He is always smiling and courteous. He makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Thus his staff follows suit and also make you feel appreciated. Never had a bad coffee, or food item. If there has ever been a problem, there is always an employee that will take care of it for you.
I love all Peet’s but this one is my favorite because of the friendly feel. Lots of neighbors chatting with each other and the staff. Employees here have an upbeat positive attitude and are always welcoming. And of course the coffee is great.
On a drizzly day, my wife and I enjoyed a coffee date at Peet's Coffee, located in Carlsbad. The lighting was warm with smooth R&B playing in the background. This created an inviting ambience. Many people were enjoying the coffee shop, either working on laptops or talking with friends. Peet's served a delightful bold cup of coffee. The shop was neat and clean. I look forward to another coffee date at Peet's Coffee.
A nice place to grab a cup of coffee with a friendly staff and jovial atmosphere. Place was packed but I got in and out quick. Coffee and apricot Danish were both excellent. Wish they had more Peet's stores.
I had been wanting to get a drink from Peets for a while now, but hadn't been near one. I found myself near this one today. It was great. My Latte was near perfect, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I'd happily return to this location again.
This Peet's Coffee is always enjoyable. The coffee ☕️ is delicious and the staff is efficient.

One of my favorite coffee places. Staff is amazing and I am always happy with food and drink!
The iced coffee (Americano) is refreshing. My wife e joys their iced latte with almond milk. Atmosphere is relatively quiet with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are pleasant and patient. Only inconvenience is the parking...depending on the time of day.
Great place. Good food, excellent coffee, and comfortable seating/tables.
I love our local Bressi Peets. Easy parking either in front or in back of store. Right across from Trader Joe’s! Excellent to pick up before shopping. The best brewed black iced tea! Staff is so friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and organized. Inside and outside shared patio seating!
Good coffee, and excellent service. Friendly atmosphere two. A nice patio to enjoy your coffee on. Now, if they would only offer Major Dickason’s blend as their house brew, not the decaf version. That would be perfect! 😁

Fresh hot coffee with a choice of different brews. Very accommodating staff. Breakfast pastries not as good as my previous visits. Had to return my cranberry scone. More like a buscuit or muffin than a scone. They encouraged me to select another at no charge. They wanted to know if I was not satisfied with my purchase and to make it right if I wasn't. Good PR move. I'll be back.
I never knew Peet's was an actual coffee shop. Coming from the Midwest, the only contact I had with Peet's was the terrible coffee available at grocery stores. I was surprised at how good their coffee was for a large chain. Would go here over a Starbucks.
Oh my goodness! The black tie, made with cold brew was amazing! Best iced coffee drink I've ever tasted! Something about the cold brew process removes the acidity from iced coffee - a big plus with me! 4 stars rather than 5 just because the service was relatively slow. But it was worth the wait.
Great Americano and other flavors of coffee .. better than the BUCKS .! Go for it

A little slice of chaos on a Saturday morning, with crowding from the recently woken, active wear laden bikers and runners and anyone else after their caffeine fix. Friendly if overwhelmed staff and relatively quick turn once you get to order.
I would say this place is ok. I came recently after not having been in a while. Prices are up and quality and service is not what I remember. Parking is very bad as it is right by Trader Joe’s.
Bring your own syrup and your own hot sauce. Peets doesn’t have either. This morning I ordered chicken and waffle. I asked for syrup they don’t have any. I had to stop someplace else and buy Syrup . The other morning I stopped and purchased a breakfast burrito. I asked for hot sauce. They don’t have any. If you’re going to make ethnic food you have to include all the condiments to go with it. Do you want french fries without ketchup? Come on Peet’s do better!!!
My first time having a drink here. I had a duty Chai and the service I received was good. I had to used the restroom, and oh boy it needs so cleaning. Then I came outside to enjoy my drink and the trash outside was overflowing 😵💫🥴

I ordered the $5.10 Americano on a brilliant SoCal morning, and no food because NOTHING is gluten free. My husband’s regular drip was much more satisfying and was actually terrific. My Americano was filled to the rim, watery crap that I threw away after a few sips. Outside is nice but loads of pigeons alongside the musical stylings of Cher and similar. Sigh! Regular drip is good, but that was the only bright spot.
Despite their wonderful latte's and service, we've lowered our review for our favorite Peet's because they have stopped selling those great almond croissants we have enjoyed for the past couple of years. Apparently they have "changed" their bakery supplier! The new offerings look really unappealing, so we will now have to just bring our own pastries from "Bread & Cie", the best authentic European style bakery in S.D. Whoever makes decisions about bakery goods at all the cafe's in the County - Starbucks, Peet's, Nordstrom Ebar, Coffee Bean, Pannikin, have such a limited (or purely profit driven) understanding that great coffee means great pastries go together! The garbage they all serve would make any Italian or French cafe or bar owner hysterical!
Switched from being a regular Starbucks to Peet's fairly recently. Overall Peet's has been much better. However, I do have 2 complaints that bring it down 2 stars (at least at this location). I prefer iced coffees, but the straws here have literally ruined the experience for me at times. This location uses paper straws that are so flimsy that not only do they dissolve into your drink after 10 minutes, they break in half when put into the lid. I understand that the change to paper straws was to be more environmentally conscious, but there are more reliable materials to make environmentally-friendly straws. There are recyclable ones that look and feel like traditional plastic, but there are also pasta straws that hold up very well and are biodegradable. The second complaint is that Peet's charges for milk alternatives. It's 2024, are we really charging extra for dairy alternatives that are the rule rather the exception in California? An improvement to either of these issues would raise my overall score by a star each.

The straws they have, become unusable in under 30 min. Asking for no straw in the app doesn't give you the sipping lid. Not sure if they even carry those.

Earlier this week I was in Anaheim and ordered a perfectly delicious turkey chorizo burrito. It was tasty. Hot. Not too much bread. So I ordered it again today in Carlsbad and how disappointing! Too much bread. Too dry. Very little filling. So sad…
When we inquired as to why the Dubai matcha was not very "matcha flavored" he just said "Well, it's just chocolate milk with a bit of matcha flavored foam." So, $8 chocolate milk? Not only unacceptable, but admitting to it was kind of insulting. After stirring it up to blend on the matcha a bit it still just tasted like milk. We asked if more matcha foam could be added and he said, unenthusiastically, 'yeah, give me a minute" then rolled his eyes at his coworker (try and hide your disdain for customers a bit better). Please extend my sincere apologies to the man we inconvenienced. We'll try better next time to just shut up and enjoy our pricey cup of milk.

No Cash! I get paid in cash and have no access to banking or credit. This store discriminates against those in poverty who are trying to treat themselves to a nice coffee when possible. Peet’s only caters to affluent customers in this region. This store shamed me and humiliated me and refused me service because I only have cash. Shame on this establishment.
very very bad customer service. extremely unacceptable!!! At this particular location. We came with my family to buy some tea. The lady working here completely ignored us when we were at the register waiting patiently to buy a package of coffee and a cup of tea. And instead checked out the lady who walked in after us. She checked her out. I undestand we are not important and can take our business else where. I find this UNACCEPTANLE I don't know if she is tired or having a bad day but we were left with a very bad customer service , where they are very rude and disregard you. I got a bad impression of this coffee shop. My last experience here was not any better. We bought a packaged jasmine tea. A free cup of tea that comes with it was not offered at this location ( where as at others we usually get a free cup with our purchase). Were charged for a jasmin tea cup. We did not argue with the workers decision and left. Now i think we will be avoiding this location all together!!!!!
Walked in today 12/14/25 for 2 Horchata cold brews. What i got was 2 coffees that taste like milk and water. No cinnamon whatsoever. Normally they are on point I don't know what happened today. Wife didn't even bother finishing it.

Mobile orders beware!!!! I ordered my drink online from Peet's website, but when I got there, someone had taken it. I understand the risk that we take when we order online and it's not the employees fault! I couldn't wait for it to be made again, so I asked for a refund but they said they can't refund online orders so they gave me their customer service number. I believe their mobile order software is flawed if they're unable to refund me in the store. Calling customer service is inconvenient and I don't need the $7 that bad (the universe is teaching me a very valuable lesson, to stop ordering $7 drinks every morning). This one star review is specifically for the flawed mobile order system and does not reflect the customer service in the store, or the quality of coffee.
