Avis sur Blue Lotus Vietnamese Cuisine Carson
I've been going here for a few years and I love the food. The Pho and the Bun are my favorites. The spring rolls are also excellent. The prices are great and the service is wonderful. A good Vietnamese food restaurant!
This place is pretty good with affordable price. They have a lot of food selection that you will be confused to get but if you like chicken, you might want to try their chicken cooked with tomatoe and if you like dried noodles, you can order the pan fried chow mein. Something different to try. The only thing that i kinda dont like is when you're ordering to go, it takes sooo long before your order could be ready. Hope this helps. Thanks.
Love the food and good price
Food was extremely good and service was fantastic. I definitely will go again!!
Great services for a large group. Great food, very large servings, very good prices and we enjoyed the meals. Staffs were very prompt. We would recommend this restaurant.
Great family atmosphere and amazing food. This pho beats what’s served in San Gabriel valley in LA. It’s great value for the meals.
I liked the service. The food was delicious. Definitely recommended. Did I say I liked the service? The workers were very friendly and they are a reason I am most likely going back.
Delicious, authentic affordable Vietnamese food! A great selection of smoothies , soups, boba, stir fries and more- Jamie broke down the menu to us, she was a big help to our entre selections! Very enjoyable time
Great food . Fast service. Very pleasant place to be at .
Fast service, good pho
YES! are you looking for Pho/Pha ( never really know how to pronounce it) 🤔.... but this place has some of the best out there. The menu is packed together with different varieties and made to order dishes. The service is great and fast. Good prices keep me coming back.
Great service! They give a great portion of food and most importantly the food is really tasty. Also they have some unique dishes to try out. I recommend this restaurant (:
Delicious.... My favorite place for a nice bowl of pho. Everything they make is delicious. Now keep in mind it takes them a while to bring the food out but it's worth it.

My fav Vietnamese restaurant hands down in this area. Nice and clean service and all dishes I've ordered has always been very delicious. I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp, crisp chow mein, fried rice, pho combination, vermicelli dish, and most of all the crispy squid! Only complaint I have is they always skimp you out on whip cream topping when you order Thai tea!!!
Best Vietnamese I have had so far. Phos are great and large. Other plates are great too. Hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Place is very popular so be prepared to wait unless you arrive early or late. Kind of noisy (it is always full)
I went here once and it was phenomenal! From the minute that me and my daughter had come into the restaurant, they seated us right away. We ordered PHO with i believe some kind of steak or beef. We were so happy it was all fresh and brought to us right away. We also had their chai iced teas and they were delicious as well. I dont go here that often since I do live up in the high desert but whenever I am around I try to at least stop by to get some PHO. Blue Lotus you slay me!
Good food great service . Had a pleasant dinner here many times
I ordered Chicken PHO and went to use the rest room when I came back it was ready for me:-) fast Service, accommodating staff and the food was delicious. My family and I were very happy with the food we ordered. We also tried their durian smootie and it was really good.
I love eating here. My family and I frequently visit this restaurant as it has become one of our local favorites. The Pho is delicious as well as their spring rolls. Definitely try the Vietnamese Eggrolls and the Combination Crispy Chow Mein. It can get a little crowded at times but the food is worth it.
Excellent food, great service, and always a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with my family. This is nearly a weekly go to for us. Best Vietnamese restaurant in Carson, HANDS DOWN.
My favorite ramen spot in Carson area. Usually eat here twice a month. Never have I been disappointed. I will certainly be back for more. Staff are always friendly & quick to correct any errors if any with the food. Beef pho for life
Definitely our group will be back. Great menu choices and excellent food at affordable prices. Thanks to the owner for that very warm welcome.
I freaking love this joint. They're rich, savory and flavorful phó are the best in town. There menu and choices of variety is pretty wide. There customer service is always great. When you get a chance to come by at Carson. Come by this joint and you'll thank me later. The atmosphere is very mellow. Although, it could get pretty packed for dinner time and you might have to wait in line. ...but waiting is usually no later than ten minutes and the employees are always happy to assist you. Wait might be long but its all well worth the wait.
Such good food and amazing service. Atmosphere is very authentic.
the food was really good. service was good and fast. They have really good Pho. this place probably has some of the best Calamari I've had in a long time. 2 thumbs up update: Fast kitchen service still but at least 6 times after the initial visit they dont come back and check on you. Have to get their attention for more water and to get the check.
Place was really nice. Really good food and the portions were bigger than most vietnamese places I've been to. So if you like to eat (like me ) or just worry if you're going to get full when trying a new place (also like me). Then This is definitely the place to be. Also the servers there were really polite checked on my party not too much and not too little. And we didn't have to wait long for our food, it was surprisingly fast.
Amazing food. Bright lighting and crowded tables, amazing food, excellent servers
It's A simple restaraunt to go on a date too and relax
Wow… the food is pho-king amazing!!! Probably one of the best Pho I’ve tried. I was gonna take a photo, but I destroyed it asap 😭
Our first time here yesterday, a friend brought us, and we liked it so much we came back today. We enjoy the vegetarian options, especially the vegetable chow fun. Service was fast and friendly too.
Everything was exceptional, from the ample parking lot to great customer service, to savory food & plentiful portions.
Great Vietnamese staple in Carson. Great outdoor seating, fully enclosed and covered. Very spacious. Allowed us to bring my Two wheeled stand up electric kick scooter into the outdoor area. Very accommodating. Good food, fast service. I love the house special. Right on Carson Street so can be a little loud even though the outdoor areas enclosed.
Been here a few times now and decided to give them a proper review. It's been since before the pandemic started and came her last night. I ordered #69 Rice plate which comes with shrimp paste in bean curd sheet fried up real crispy, baked egg, bbq-pork chop over rice, and served with a sweet fish sauce which makes it just the right enhancement for flavor. Wifey got their brisket pho & our daughter chowfun with different kinds of meats. Everything was delicious and a close comparison to Pho Fula in La Habra. The place is clean, organized, have great service that's friendly and makes you feel at home. The chef came out and made sure everything was great with a sense of humor. We'll be back to try other things on their menu.
I always make sure to have lunch here whenever I am in the area for grocery shopping. They serve the best calamari and grilled pork bbq in a spring roll or vermicelli bowl or over rice and egg plate. Don't forget to order their yang chao fried rice too if you are dining in a group. Plenty of parking too.
Good food but different than I am used to no lemongrass dishes. Most dishes are made without heat spices. There are soups instead of Phò. You won’t find salted lemonade, avocado or jackfruit smoothies. With that said they do have an extensive menu which is very tasty.
Love this place 😋 My favorite #90
I ordered the #16 Seafood noodle soup which was very delicious. Great portion size too. I also decided to the try egg rolls which were really good as well.

The food was amazing and the staff so friendly and nice. There were sooo many options on the menu to choose from, I will be visiting again.

Get the calamari. Outstanding service. Quality pho. A very clean and calm place to have a bowl after a night of drinking. *hangover cure*
Got a pork bahn MI and it was sooooo good. had little crispy lechon chicharron bits mixed in with the regular pork meat for a tasty extra crunch!
This restaurant is very nice place to bring your date for lunch or dinner the is very good and the staff are very friendly

The pho is definitely tasty. The broth is made just right. Noodle nice and chewy, not too hard or soft. I always judge a restaurant by how good their pho is. Will be going back now to try their other items. :)
Food is always delicious. I always get the #1. Service is always mediocre. The workers need to definitely be more friendly. Other than that this place is my Go-to Pho restaurant.
Don't know why it gave 1 star? Probably accidentally pressed, anyways this place is decent, food, ambiance and overall experience is relatively satisfactory
This is a nice family style restaurant that serves noodles and soups. The staff is so - so friendly, as most of them don't speak English. The food is made to order and is very tasty. Alot of families come in for lunch, supper, and after church. It's a good place to have a business lunch with colleagues as well. I reccommend the Blue Lotus 100%!!
I love to eat here, but food taste is not consistent lately. 😏
Food is always well prepared and tastes good. Pho is their main offering and definitely awesome especially with a choice of meat toppings at extra price. Boba drinks are make just right not too sweet and not too watery, the Boba is also properly cooked and tender not too chewy.
One of my go to place if I am craving pho. They do pretty good here. The broth is flavorful, very generous topping and portions. The service is warm and welcoming.
I like this place but I think they need to work on customer service. I understand its always busy always a full house. Food is delicious. I like to eat there but I end up getting it for take out instead cause of the crowd
The food was pretty good, they messed up a bit on the order and had to correct them at checkout to not get over charged. I wouldn't recommend getting and extra side of beef balls, as they will give you one beef ball and cut it into four. It wasn't a large one either.
It was good, not incredible. I've been eating Bun Thit Nuong for 30+ yrs so I'm a little picky. Had a couple bone chips mixed in, not a deal breaker but annoying. Meat wasn't bursting with flavor, and veggies were scarce. Veggies are cheap, load it up! Fish sauce was very good. Hot sauce bottle on table had a ring of dried goo around the top which is annoying as well.
This a good place if you want to try out any Vietnamese food from the pho soup to any of the rice 🍚 dishes as they call it everything is tasty. The service is not the greatest, but it will do. Prices are affordable and it is a nice quiet place.
Their prices are affordable and reasonable. I like the taste of their food. The service is not slow. Saw a lot of people from the nearby hospital having lunch there. Food not heavy. The rice with protein topping choices are good. The noodle soup are okay, too. I enjoy ordering Boba smoothies here when I am in the area.
I love this place. Pho is delicious, Calamari is so good and crispy to perfection.
The plates were big portions, I think it's worth the price they charge for each & it does taste good. I got the Pho with brisket, tripe & tendon & it was a lot of those in the bowl for $10.95 XL. The spring rolls we're a decent size too, then they cut it in half with the peanut sauce, sooo good. I also ordered their Thai tea with boba but it's not blended, it's with ice, it's alright. The service was excellent! By the time we left the place, it was packed.
Food is tasty pretty fast service on food coming out. Was my 2nd time eating there this year with the family. Kids like it. No kids menu. But you can share the food but not the soda drinks. The milk coffee/tea is good. Number 69, 6, 70, 59, 103or113 where good.
This place has improved tremendously. The crispy vegetable egg rolls is a must. The Pho has gotten better. I will go back and try other tems. Oh yeah, definitely get the green mussels.

My go to place for Pho and Vietnamese food in general. Food is great, with good sized portions. The pricing is on point.

Some of the ladies that work there are a bit rude (no customer service) but other than that food is good.. Pho soup is very flavorful and fresh
I have no issues with the quality and selection of the food. However they have increased the prices again which is a big disappointment. Compared to other pho restaurants, the difference is around $2.00. With many restaurants maintaining their price and others even lowering it to help customers in this Covid crisis, Blue Lotus chose to increase theirs. Not going there for now.
Food is good service needs to be improved alot, some of the servers have the attitude of why are you here? Unless your Asian or white they don't give you the same quality service. Money and business are the same color. But it's worth it for the food.
The chicken sandwiches were excellent. but the egg rolls, not so. They looked and tasted like they were •reheated• in the deep fryer: gummy, amorphous filling in a crisp, slightly overdone wrap. I've given up on their pho. Excellent, were it not for the imbalanced cinnamon, which makes it a bowl of cinnamon broth with excellent noodles and beef.
We eat recently to the Blue Lotus Vietnamese , and the food is okay, however the service is poor, rudeness, they talking each other and doesn’t pay attention to the customer needs, and looks like they don’t want to help the dinning customers. We spend more than $120 including to go order, however the to go order is not properly cooked.
This place feels like a family owned restaurant, with very improvised service. It is not bad but also not good, it's weird. We ordered a couple soups and a side of vegetable egg rolls. The sweet sauce for the egg rolls smelled terrible! It smelled like wet socks and we had to move it away from our table, so definitely keep that in mind when ordering rolls. The rolls were also very greasy to the point where they dripped oil on every bite. But the flavor itself wasn't bad. The soups were good but surprisingly sweet. For a Vietnamese broth dish this one was off, something was weird maybe too much cinnamon and some sort of sweetener added? Not sure. But the chicken and the tendon were good tasting and made the soup way better of course. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and there was also plenty of seating space available for dinner time. Restrooms are clean and easily accessible. Overall this is the kind of place where you go when there are no other options left. Not terrible but not enjoyable either.
Good food, great portions but horrible customer service. The staff lack basic customer service skills and operate like robots. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no smiles. The waitress just showed up with a pen, asked if we were ready and then walked away after taking our order. Based on customer service alone, we won’t be returning.
The food is reasonably price and clean but the service leaves much to be desired. When we went, we only saw our waiter to take our order and bring our food. When we needed water refills or anything, it was next to impossible to grab the attention of a waiter, even though they are just chatting behind a counter. I recommend going at a slow time or ordering to-go so you can enjoy in the comfort of your home.

The staff were really cordial and kind, and the restaurant itself was very clean and hygienic. Unfortunately, the food was not the best for me. They have very limited vegetarian options and I ordered the Bean Curd with lemongrass and chilli. It was not tofu skin as described, it was just regular tofu, and the dish tasted sweet. There was hardly any lemongrass flavor and it was loaded with bell peppers and onions. It lacked depth in flavor and I could barely taste any lemongrass at all. I was very disappointed with the dish.
It was ok, feel like the taste of the food has changed overtime. I remember the first time they had opened and I went there for the soup, it smelt and tasted so good. It felt like medicine to to my hurt throat. Tonight I went hoping for the same feeling, unfortunately didnt happen. It was dinner time so they were very busy. 5 stars for turning over the tables so fast and the staff for being attentive. It was a full house, so very loud and busy. We had soup, fried rice and mussels. The soup wasn't hot enough, usually the rare steak will cook itself in the soup but it only somewhat cooked it. We both had the small size, but there was too much noodle, it sucked up most of the soup. The broth wasn't as hot so I could taste the oil from the meat. There was no soup aroma that it usually has and the taste just wasn't fresh to us. Overall, it was amazing ok experience.

While the food was once above average, the service has always been disappointing. 01/31/26 Update: Something has clearly changed—possibly the chef or ownership. The quality has dropped significantly, especially the pho broth, which was awful. I will not patronize this restaurant again.
Food is always good, waiters need to greet the customers and smile a little more. They look as though they hate their jobs and going through the motions during your order. They got to remember greet your customers before and after you leave. Who's training them anyways?
Would’ve probably given them more stars if I didn’t wake up to a false charge on my account. If you come here be sure not to use your card because they added an $8 tip to my purchase. I hope you like losing business over being greediness. So incredibly disgusted by that.
Everytime I come here they never give good service. I always have to get up give them my check, stare them down for eye contact in order to get a cup of water. Today it took them about 20 minutes after we finished eating to come pick up the plates & when the waitress finally did come to the table she stood there texting on her phone. After she took the plates it took about another 5 minutes to bring over the damn check. Im sick of it. Its like a bad relationship where the only reason I go back is because I love the food. I always think its gonna get better but it doesn’t.
I'm usually a fan of this place, but not last night. Decided to have a family dinner with my wife and kids at this establishment food was good but service wasn't, we were sat in the back booth and seemed very forgotten about. Even people that came after us were checked on and served before us. Our food came out in sections and our egg rolls were forgotten about until I reminded them about them. Then when they finally arrived they were cold. Was very disappointed because this place it's usually very good to me and my family over the years, and now I'm not sure if i want to dine there again.
Pho is excellent, parking is plenty, but service is absolute trash. I've eaten here dozens of times. The workers have zero customer service skills and treat you with disdain. Good luck getting a refill. Place is always empty and never busy, so they have no excuse.
This is just an average Pho restaurant. I had high hopes, but the food fell a little short on flavor and quality meat. I brought my Vietnamese sister here, and she definitely was not impressed. I'm so sad because I'm always in favor of smaller restaurants. Don't let me deter you. You might have a different palate or a different experience. As always, support your local businesses!
Service is not great. Upon entry no one greets to see if you’re eating in or taking to go or to ask to be seated. When actually sitting down it took a while for anyone to order or to come and ask if we were ready to order. The dry noodle bowl has way too much noodles with very small portions of veggies and protein choice. Just a bunch of noodles in a bowl. The restroom is dirty! Should have left after seeing that.
I ordered a large pho tai for $14.99, but I only received a few pieces of meat in the pot. When I asked the employee about it, she admitted that they had intended to put 10 pieces of meat but had only found 5. I was very disappointed with this and will not be returning to the restaurant.

Was there on MLK day, we immediately got seated but had to wait 20 minutes until we finally got our order taken. I understand there’s a big group and it seemed pretty busy but other parties of 2 that were sat way after us had their orders taken almost immediately. Aside from that, the food came relatively quick and was decent. To top it all off, as we finished we asked for a to-go box and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes… for a box… we ultimately just decided to approach their counter, ask for a container and just pay from there. In conclusion, ok/decent food totally killed by terrible service.

Was a pain to eat today Small children crying all the time. Nobody calmed the kid, neither the mother nor the people working there. We ordered coffee, didn't arrive until we finished all the food despite we requested twice. Don't want to come back again.
My daughter and I was there just around 15mins ago. The service was so bad that even my food, I didn't eat it all. We order rice and beef for my daughter and myself was grilled shrimp vermicelli. When pur order came, it was other way around. My shrimp was on top of the white rice and the beef was on top of my vermicelli. I told the server to change the rice for my daughter because she's allergic to shrimp. When he came back, he told me it was a new rice. Guess what, there's a shrimp shell on my daughter's rice with the beef. REMINDER TO ALL DON'T BELIEVE THEM TO WHAT THEY SAID. THEY CAN SAY WHATEVER TO YOU. We went there just to give them our money.
I have decided I will no longer go to this location. Sadly the service is very cold I guess that's the best way to put it. There has been a couple times that I came here that I had normal people serving me and the service was excellent but for the five to six other times I've been there people serving seem very cold and do not understand the concept of customer service and running a business. The older gentleman that always brings out the food to everybody is always super polite and nice he smiles and says thank you you can tell he really values the business it always makes me happy to see him and say hi. There's a girl that I see often always behind the register with a mask on and she never says anything when she comes to my table at all ever I tried to be nice and say hello thank you or whatnot never hear anything from her so weird. Went to have some food there today around 2pm the server young girl is very sharp bad energy never came to refill my water but she refilled everybody else's water never came to check on my table once I had to walk up to the front and check out because she never showed back up even though I had all of my food and plate at the corner of the table for probably 5 or 10 minutes sitting there waiting for somebody to come and never did. When I did go to check out the girl behind the front desk that I mentioned earlier still never said anything to me she just gave me the check didn't say thank you not even a smile didn't say anything. It's really a shame because their food is so good I always enjoy it definitely five stars for the food but I'm not trying to come and have an emotional roller coaster when I want to enjoy a very delicious pleasant meal I want to have a great experience with my meal and with the customer service but the customer service is extremely lacking in this case I think it has something partially to do with the fact that their staff is really young or just bad choices in hiring they definitely don't have good character or are not good people because it's not hard to be nice it's very easy actually and it's common sense especially in a business setting. I don't know but sadly I won't be coming back to this location I will find another location I'm a pretty loyal customer as well so.
The male server with the tattoo behind his left ear is rude!!! All I asked for was a simple broth with veggies and beef. I got a bowl of nasty cold broth. It smelled like it was rotten. The beef was full of cold beef with nerves. The spring rolls were dry and nasty. The table was sticky. One server for the whole restaurant!!! We waited a long time for our check. Well...I paid $30 for a meal I didn't eat. My husband's fried rice was cold and salty. Never!!! Had we ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant that was so gross!! Don't eat here!!!
The food is not bad, taste is ok and portioning is also fair. Service could be better. I've seen my server only 1 time (only when she took my order), after that I had to stand up to get more water, to get a box to go and my receipt so I can pay. Also, after reading online that this place was closed by the Health Department for vermints problems, I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!!!
I always buy the house special Pho here before. But now i do not anymore. The price has raised. Like $15-$17 and they give less noodles and meat. It’s like buying small Pho. Also, i noticed the brought soup does not taste good as before. Now it taste like hot water with salt. Very looking pale. This is the start of falling business.
The pho broth here tastes like it came out of a carton. There was no depth, aromatics or anything. Just tastes like beef powder and msg. Also the older Asian lady server has major attitude. Her facial expressions and tone of voice weren't made for the customer service arena.
We usually come here for pho and it's pretty good for what's local. One night I saw they closed at 9pm so I assumed they closed the kitchen at 8:45 so I tried frantically to call and place my order at 8:35pm. I got voicemail 5 times before I decided to just run to the restaurant and try my luck. Tried calling 3 more times in the car. When I got there, three waitresses were just sitting down watching one table and when I said I wanted to place an order they just smuggly said the kitchen was closed. They obviously just turned off their phone because when I told one of the girls I had tried calling, she said she was probably on the phone with other orders. Spoiler alert: there were no orders on the takeout rack. Funny excuse seeing as the kitchen is closed. Obviously the closing staff is just lazy and want to close as early as possible. I feel sorry for the owner.
Food here is good, however I have noticed hair on my soup not only once but 3 times!! Very disgusting and disappointing. I stopped eating here for a long time although, I decided to give it another try this year. I had just bought a pork chowmein today (8/25/18) and while eating the food I have again found hair in it. Very annoying and disappointing!! I called to make a complaint but no one seems to answer my calls. In addition, a few of their servers have very bad customer service. During one of my visits with my family, my sister and I were given attitude when we asked for a plate and a cup of water. One of the servers answered, “that’s it? You want anything else?” That was very rude! Anyways I have attached 2 pics below of the pork chowmein that I ordered today to show anyone who wants to eat here to pls be careful and watch what you are eating..
Not sure what happened to this pho joint in the heart of Carson over the past year. Hard to call in orders lately as the phone rings off the hook or we get the busy signal. Since it is nearby and we have been long time customers, we continually gave it second, third, fourth etc. chances. The time has come to move on. Why? Ordered tonight and the grilled beef was lacking in flavor. Wasn't that way before. The worst of it was the beef pho we ordered. The broth was CHICKEN and it came refrigerated COLD. Thankfully this was a take home order so we had a microwave available otherwise we would have been in a tight spot if we were taking this out to eat somewhere outdoors like the park. The food here was always fresh and orders were correct. Have to say we will take a longer drive when in town for a better experience. Shame too as this has been our family's go-to spot since it opened. Maybe a change in management or lack of interest in customer service?
I've been here twice. The first time, I ordered a shrimp dish, and not only did I have to peel the shrimp (messy), but it was overcooked. The second time, I ordered some tofu dish, and it was disgusting. There was too much sauce, and it was coagulated. We sat there waiting for someone to check on us ... but no one did. They just sat at a nearby table rolling plasticware. I even saw one of them drop one on the floor and use it. My boyfriend walked right past them to refill his water himself, and they still didn't acknowledge him. We waited a very long time to get the bill and a box for his food (his food was good - fried rice). Although the servers were nice, they weren't attentive. Probably won't come back.
Phô is ok but half fried chicken is dry not moist, sauce is like water, better combined with pickled papaya Atchara a Filipino side order good with fried chicken
