Excellent food. Welcoming staff although MEGA busy. A place not to miss if in the area. 1/4 Duck Dish - speciality was delish+ 1/2 bottle of house wine was really good. Don't drive past - make sure you stop and enjoy.

Food is so delicious, perfect ingredients. I have visited LA many times, and I am happy to share that you must try Italian food at LA Rosa.They are so welcoming and great.

Die Gerichte sind nicht nur optisch ein Genuss, sondern auch geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau – kreativ, frisch und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Preis-Leistung sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann La Rosa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Me and my friends were looking to something new in Carvoeiro then we landed up at LA Rosa and I am happy because we had delicious food there. Spare ribs was soo good and masroom, bolonise and everything was super delicious I would love to go again for delicious pasta and pizza. Services and hospitality is remarkable. Thought we’d try La Rosa as it’s the sister restaurant to the wonderful Bela Rosa. Such friendly staff. Can’t fault the food, absolutely delicious lasagne and a generous portion too. The only pizza with a bbq base that we could find here, which my husband loved. And it offers banoffee pie, my favourite pud, which was amazing. We’ll definitely be back here a few more times before we go home.

I have now visited this restaurant twice during my stay, and I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the great food and kind service. I was met with a smile throughout the evening, and I didn't wait long for the food. I also think the pricing is reasonable, so I really recommend stepping by this cozy italian restaurant when visiting Carvoeiro!

We came here because it has a favourite dish of ours on the menu – saltimbocca. In the end we ordered 3 main courses. A margherita pizza, baked gnocchi plus the saltimbocca so we could try everything we wanted to and take the leftovers home. We enjoyed the food so much we took home significantly less than we’d expected. We just couldn’t stop ourselves from eating! Service was excellent and the prices reasonable.

The owner was great. She spent time with us to answer questions we had and about her other restaurant. She was sweet and brought us a port sample at the end of the meal. I got shrimp Alfredo pasta and my husband got lasagna. Both were yummy! Large portions so we didn’t go away hungry. We both got salads. They were great- however they both included cilantro, which was unusual for us, so if you’re not a fan of cilantro, I’d say something. They brought us oil and balsamic vinegar for the dressing. Was so good and fresh and probably the best salad we’ve had on the trip, lots of veggies and other yummy things. Only thing I’d suggest to owner is work on the feel of the restaurant. Maybe swap out the photos on the wall for something more Italian or something that coordinates.

This restaurant is fabulous. We went twice over the course of our holiday and the food was absolutely delicious. It was child friendly too and our children were treated with such kindness. I would highly recommend having a meal here.

A no frills restaurant that serves good and tasty food. My lasagna and my wife’s pizza were cooked to perfection and well priced. Drinks are not expensive and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended!

Grilled fish, prawns felt like stale and pizza wasn’t up to mark. Only thing we liked was garlic cheese bread and service.

Pizza besteld voor afhalen. Was zeker niet vers. Vermoeden dat de bodem of hele pizza zelfs uit de vriezer kwamen. Niet lekker. Zeer teleurstellend.

Terrível, a comida está quente por fora e por dentro estava fria ,este e o primeiro ponto, segundo ponto pedi uma sangria vermelha pensando que era de frutos vermelhos não era tinta daí o vermelho no meio disto viram que eu na estava satisfeita perguntaram se eu queria trocaras antes fizeram a pergunta se eu sabia falar inglês.... Mais não vou dizer vou ficar por aqui... Mas não recomendo.
