Excellent food and great value. My wife and I had two excellent first courses, a delicious Florentine steak of about 1 kg accompanied by baked potatoes and vegetables, a small bottle of Chianti wine, a tiramisu, an amaro, and two coffees. Total €90. Well done!!

The food was good, I ate tartare and tagliata and the meat was soft and really well cooked/prepared. The service was a bit slow, it took more time for the waiter to come and take the order rather than receiving the food. Moreover the evening we were there there was also some confusion on the order but generally the food was good and the place nice.

At the foot of the Sacro Monte and near Verbano, a restaurant specializing in meat-based cuisine. It's well-maintained and offers a view of the brazier where Fassona beef ribs and T-bone steaks are served. The current season brings succulent porcini mushrooms, so the handmade tagliatelle with these prized mushrooms was bound to be delicious (and perfectly seasoned). The grilled tagliata with porcini mushrooms was delicious: good, tender meat, and amazing mushrooms. The zabaglione-filled Paris-Brest was also excellent. The prices seemed fair and affordable. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Simply fabulous restaurant. Very welcoming decor and atmosphere. Well-stocked wine cellar. Exceptional meats. The staff is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and punctual. I tasted a simply amazing Florentine steak, grilled practically in front of my table. A place not to be missed! Although it's quite out of the way... difficult to pass by regularly... you have to go there specifically, and it's definitely worth it. In about a year, they should also open a few rooms to accommodate guests intending to spend a few days in the area.

Terrible experience. Excessively expensive for what's on offer. No vegetarian or gluten-free options. The appetizer was crappy. Side dishes were sparse and mostly potato-based. The steak was only seared. I asked for apple pie as per the menu, but was served a bland slice of Margherita cake, not even particularly fresh. I won't be returning.

We arrived and after giving us a table, they told us the internet hadn't worked for two days, so we couldn't pay with a card, and that the ATMs nearby weren't working. We got up to leave because we were out of cash, and they told us, "No, you can't eat. Then, at the end of the meal, one of us will go and withdraw money, and the other will stay." 😮 We found a working ATM and returned with the cash, but already annoyed. We asked for an appetizer for two, and the dish pictured was delivered. The sliced ​​steak was excellent, the side dish was nothing special. In the end, €106 with the huge discount! Nice restaurant, good meat, good tiramisu, but the side dishes were a bit lacking (half a Belgian endive and 7 fried fries). On the way home, I thought about the bill, and €100 for 1200 grams of Bavarian Florentine steak at €7/hg just doesn't make sense! It's a shame, because if they at least overcharged you and offered you a coffee or a digestif, it would be a nice gesture. Thanks anyway, and happy holidays.
