Provision Castle Rock

Great place for cocktail lovers! This upscale hidden gem is right in the middle of downtown Castle Rock. Here mixologist have crafted unique drinks to enjoy in a carefully crafted lounge atmosphere. We stopped in to have a few cocktails before heading off to dinner. Provisions would also make a great place for a night cap as well.

Popped in for a cocktail after dinner tonight and had a great experience! Beautiful atmosphere, the bartender was extremely friendly and the drink was delicious (crumble butter old fashion). Whiskey selection was also great. Would have stayed for more than one but was incredibly full from the Italian place next door. Will be back for sure! The bartender also told us about some upcoming events they were having (also check open table for these). All around great visit!

Never even knew this place existed until I noticed a few people on their patio a few weeks ago. We tried the short rib sliders (yum!) and both got a drink. Everything was so good! Loved watching the mixologists behind the bar and everyone was very nice! Will be back!

Had such a great time at the soft opening of Provision! Cocktails were top-notch and the atmosphere was relaxed and sophisticated. The bacon wrapped dates and Brie mushroom puff pastries were fabulous, too! Downtown Castle Rock has needed an upscale cocktail bar like this - highly recommend!

I don’t often write reviews but I have to go out of my way for the experience I had here. After transplanting from New York to Denver almost one year ago, I have struggled to find a cocktail bar that resonated with me. The last thing I expected was to stumble upon one of the best spots I’ve ever been to in the small and quiet little town of Castle Rock. The drinks were absolutely incredible, our bartender, Alexander was knowledgeable and precise down to the very last detail. The aesthetic of the decor and environment was dark yet clean. I felt so comfortable in this space and I will continue to make the drive out of my way just to visit this place again and again. I can’t recommend this spot enough.

The staff was wonderful, the bartenders superb, the atmosphere awesome. Definitely the place to sit at here is the bar, you can better watch all the amazing drinks being made and the bartenders are super friendly. One thing that is often overlooked in bars is the bathrooms, but the bathrooms here were superb and well stocked. They were some wonderful touches with their branding and they were very clean. I do wish there was one more of them, but it wasn't generally a problem. We had several drinks while we were there and all of them were fantastically balanced and delicious. We will be regular moving forward. Extra shout out to Zach, our bartender, he was absolutely fantastic.

Met the owner, gave us a tour of the place, super nice inside definitely a cool speakeasy vibe, they just opened a few weeks ago... definitely will come back when I'm back in Town.

Amazing drinks! Zach was amazing, he recommended drinks based off of my taste and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Gorgeous atmosphere and an all around good time. I will be recommending Provision to everyone I know.

I love this place! It has the feel of a 1930's speakeasy. I had the cherry wood smoke infused old fashioned and it was wonderful. Go see Wes for amazing cocktails!

This place is a gem! From the cocktails, food, staff, bartenders, owners, it feels like home! Strong and delicious drinks! You get what you pay for! Need me a loyalty membership here:)

This place is absolutely awesome! Incredible detail all over this cocktail lounge, ambiance is perfect, laid back, hip and friendly. They were kind enough to let my kids sit with me on the patio. Colin our amazing server had all the perfect recommendations for their carefully crafted drinks that you cannot find anywhere near here. The price is about $7 less than your overpriced margarita at your local castle rock restaurant. Check this place out and you will not be sorry.

I loved everything about this place. If you want to have an adult conversation with some good friends in a very nice establishment, take them here. The drinks were brought to us in a timely fashion. The waitress we had was very knowledgeable of their drink menu. The prices were impressive as they did not break the bank. Overall, I am very impressed and will come back again! We need more places like this.

First thing I noticed when we walked in was how AMAZING it smelled in here. Ambiance is perfection! Dark, cozy, modern, classy. The birch trees are such a fun touch to the decor. It truly feels like a secret spot in here. Big fan of the cocktail menu as well. Fun drinks, very fun bar staff. Tyler was very sweet and a great mixologist. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town.

Spencer was the greatest server. He took into account when we were deep in conversation and would give us hand signals questioning if we needed drinks, and was very in tune with our level of conversation, and was incredibly personable. Love this place. Good drinks, good atmosphere, can talk and listen to good music at the same time. All of the serving staff are amazing. 🥰

Tyler, the GM completely wowed us with his attention, sharing a sample of the dull sized prime rib grilled cheese sandwich and a warm bourbon-infused cookie! This kind of service I would expect in Aspen or at a 5 start Denver upscale location-and it’s right here in Castle Rock!

Delicious cocktails and great atmosphere. Annie was a wonderful server - friendly, attentive, and gave thoughtful recommendations. Even when a drink wasn't exactly to our preferred taste, the craftsmanship was of such quality that every one was a delight to finish. The food, while simple, was perfect to complement the focus being the drinks. We recently returned to Colorado from Los Angeles and the cocktails would rival any high-end cocktail lounge there at a much more affordable price.

Provision in Castle Rock is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by an intimate and comfortable atmosphere that felt just right for a Saturday night out. It wasn’t overly crowded, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our evening. I ordered the Old Fashioned, and my date had the Embers — both cocktails were expertly crafted and full of flavor. We shared a delicious flatbread pizza and a beautifully arranged charcuterie board that paired perfectly with our drinks. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. It’s clear that Provision pays attention to the details — from the food and drinks to the ambiance. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend for a date night or a chill evening out!

This is a fabulous bar. The main attraction is the atmosphere and the drinks . I visited with a recommendation to try their High Fashioned which lived up to the hype. The bar staff are excellent. Very knowledgeable and great guides. Tyler’s bourbon and whisky knowledge was exemplary. Name your taste and he’ll find you something to match it , often with some Surprising suggestions. Food was excellent . I had the burger and bacon rolled dates. Only challenge with the dates is not eating too many :-) charcuterie board also had a good mature cheddar .

The atmosphere is very unique and moody and the drink selection is fantastic. I loved how the menu was organized by spirits and the drinks tasted great and the presentation was impressive. The service was also top notch. Great place to grab a drink with friends.

This place is IT! Love the vibe, love the atmosphere. They nailed it. It’s our go-to for date night. Tyler is a great manager. All the staff are well informed, curious, timely, and the cocktail menu is on point. Very excited to see them expand their food menu.

Visited for the first time this evening. Such a cool vibe! Loved the ambience. We sat at the bar and had some delicious drinks made created by Tyler. I had a short rib grilled cheese sandwich and it was good. This is now on my favorites list.

We’ve been here a handful of times and it’s always been great. From the base spirits to the garnishes, the cocktails are classic with a modern spin and are well executed. We were celebrating a special occasion the last time we went and Jacob made the night memorable with terrifically personable service. Provision is THE cocktail bar in Castle Rock and we highly recommend it.

Amazing! Came here on date night last weekend for a round of cocktails. My wife never finishes her drink, but she didn't leave a ounce in the glass here. Great selection of cocktails to choose from and the atmosphere brings me back to a swanky lounge vibe.

Provisions is an upscale lounge with great drinks and chill vibes. Perfect spot for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion. Just make sure to get a reservation—without one, it can be a bit tricky to get in, but they can call you when a seat opens up. Definitely worth the visit!

Second time going to Provision, and I was once again quite impressed! We sat inside the first time; the inside has a swanky speakeasy vibe with house/dance music to accompany. Ordered the velvet revolver (a coffee inspired twist on a manhattan) and it was excellent! We sat outside the second time on a nice Saturday afternoon and I ordered the elevator manhattan— also excellent. Both times, service was prompt, drinks were great, abs atmosphere was delightful. Prices here are higher than other local bars to be sure, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth a visit if you like cocktails!

We had such a fantastic evening at Provisions in Castle Rock! A friend’s boyfriend surprised us with a night out here, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a whisky lounge — warm, inviting, and full of character. There was a small hiccup when our fireside couch inside was double-booked, but the way the staff handled it truly impressed us. The owner personally stepped in and quickly turned things around, setting us up outside under the beautiful Main Street lights. Fresh, cozy blankets appeared within minutes, and we ended up by the firepits, sipping whisky and sharing their incredible cast iron cookie which was absolute perfection. What could’ve been a disappointment turned into one of the most memorable nights we’ve had in Castle Rock. Huge thanks to the team at Provisions for their hospitality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a cool spot! Definitely feels like something you'd find in the city, not nestled in Castle Rock. Great craft cocktails, solid section of bottles, excellent service. Limited bar seating, with the rest of the seating being comfortable and relaxed, but still limited so highly recommend a reservation. Great spot for a date night or classy drink!

Coming in while still light out, it was a bit dark, but you get used to it and appreciate it. Be sure and check out the private room. Cocktails were creative and tasty. The food was more light fare, so eat before you go. Our server impressed, he memorized our entire party's drink requests without writing anything down, there were about 15 of us. Parking garage is a block and a half away. Will go back again.

Provision definitely had an unique atmosphere. I loved the feel. Drinks were good. Food was eh.

The atmosphere and the interior decorating was top notch. Also, our waitress was super nice and bubbly. But, the beer was flat, the cocktail was so sweet it was hard to drink, and it took a really long time to get our drinks.

The best cocktails in Castle Rock, and a really good spot to relax and have a conversation. The trick is getting your first order in. We got seated very quickly, but waited 20 minutes before we even got our first drink order in. Which, in total, became about 30 minutes before we had the drinks before us. Granted it was a Saturday night and it was busy. Still, the drinks and even the limited food menu was well worth it. The drink menu is extensive with a list of cocktails, each of which are excellent in their own right. They've mainly separated the drinks by spirit so you can choose based off your favorite. They also have seasonal drinks that rotate every few months that helps keep everything fresh. Food-wise, it's very limited, so it's best to stick to drinks here, but the food options they do have are really good. You can't really go wrong here, just be prepared to wait for that first drink on a busy day

Really pretty atmosphere, but if you have a migraine disorder or are sensitive to fragrance be warned. They have a strong cologne fragrance throughout the bar that triggered a super bad headache for me, which was a huge bummer for our rare date night out.

I have been here in groups of 4-6 multiple times and loved it, but the last time I had a reservation for two people and they literally sat us at two chairs that were part of a 4 person seating arrangement by the fire, next to a couple we had never met. When I questioned the reservation seating arrangement they told me they "are trying to foster community" so that is why they seated us with another couple we don't know. My neighbors went last weekend and the same exact thing happened to them, so I decided to post this review, to give others a heads up that if you go with a reservation and have a party of two be prepared to be seated with complete strangers. So strange.

This is a cool spot for the vibe but the service is just terrible. Was there an hour and waited 45 minutes for a water. We were only having drinks.

Updated review 3: Came in an hour before close on Saturday night. One of the bartenders seemed inebriated and maybe that's why service was a lil off. We weren't acknowledged by the bartenders for a bit. The bar back was nice enough to get our first drink orders. My second drink order was actually given to the wrong person at first by said inebriated bartender even though I had ordered it from him minutes before. It was a lil weird. The bar wasn't even that busy. Was def an off night. Updated review 2: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another great experience! Drinks are always spectacular, service was great and ambiance is lovely. Updated review 1: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am happy to say that my experience my second time here was much better! It was much more lively on a Friday night. Ambiance is nice here for sure. My husband and I sat at the bar. I ordered the dirty vodka martini and it was amazing, it was the best dirty martini l've ever had! My husband got the high fashioned which was also great. Josh the bartender did an amazing job on our drinks. We look forward to coming back. First review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Went an hour before closing. The bartenders weren't very friendly but the drinks were amazing! The ambiance was nice, but the place was nearly empty so it felt a little odd being in there. I will come back for the drinks and bartenders skill alone.

Dinner at Provisions is new. We like to go here so we thought we would invite some of our friends to share in the new dinner experience. The menu was small, my halibut for $42 was 2”squared. With maybe 3/4 cup of rice. Our friends filet salad had 4 little pieces of meat and the rest of the salad was left untouched as she said it had no flavor. My wife’s grilled cheese was greasy and had that grill taste. No very appealing. Great place for drinks just not for dinner. We spent nearly $500 and definitely did not get our money’s worth.

We’ve been to this place several times over the years and it may be a while before we come back. The drinks and food were fantastic as always, but the service was worse than I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t even busy and my table of 3 was basically ignored the entire time. We also found THREE chips in one of our martini glasses, but had the hardest time getting our waiter’s attention to tell him about it. Something changed here and I don’t like it. This place is off our list until our issues are addressed.

Few minutes before 10pm Thursday February 13th. We were out celebrating Valentine's Eve. Stopped by for a nightcap as they're open till 10:30pm. We chose this particular establishment because they have a intimate vibe and serve high end champagne. We were hoping to purchase a bottle, enjoy a glass at the bar, then take the rest home, we've done this a few times prior at Provision. As we entered we noticed the place was moderately busy but not crowded. We asked the bartender if we could seat ourselves, his prompt response was "we've already served last call" Disappointing he couldn't have been more accommodating, especially considering most of guests we observed were still enjoying full drinks. We planned on spending a few hundred dollars, in a very short amout of time, and tipping generously, as we usually do. I guess he didn't care that he, and his employer, lost a substantial sale/tip ...and cost the business repeat customers. I've worked in the F&B industry for over 35yrs and would have never given such poor customer service. Sad. We'll be hard pressed to go back.

Service was great, I wouldn’t recommend getting the French dip sandwich! It was mostly fatty meat, however they give a very generous portion of fries.

The only saving grace was the server… he was extremely friendly and personable, however, service was abysmally slow. 25 min to get drinks, 45 min for appetizers. Halibut was tiny and overcooked, tasted like tilapia. Everything else was decent but nothing special. Definitely won’t be back
