One of the best places to eat in Catemaco. The service is excellent, the place is clean, and they have a very extensive menu. The best part is enjoying them with their handmade tortillas. The breakfast coffee is also delicious. My breakfast recommendation is the "ahogados" eggs in broth; they have epazote that gives them so much flavor. The picaditas and the hotcakes are very fluffy. The "chango" meat isn't actually monkey meat; it's smoked pork. Mene o Mere, the owner, is always ready to serve you and make you feel like you're in the best place. His staff, like Luis and Juan, are also always attentive to the service. The average price of a dish is 50-80 pesos, with the most expensive being over 100. The average cost per person is between 100-150 pesos. There are always musicians playing, a man selling delicious homemade peanuts, and other things. Highly recommended.

The food isn't the best seasoning, but it's not bad; it has good flavor. The atmosphere is super calm and pleasant. The best thing is the super affordable prices. They offer a good selection of delicious food that's easy on the wallet, and the tortillas taste great. The only thing I didn't like was the service from the waiters; however, overall, it's a very good restaurant and an excellent choice. It also has a good location.
