Lots of events, good food truck variety, and tons of extras. Great place for families or a night with friends. Highly recommend checking out an event!
Family oriented with an athletic club, game room, bar area, and generous outdoor, astroturfed, and tented area where you cascreen, sports on the big screwn, with both bench seating and an area where you can bring your own fold-up chair and chillax. Very cool setup. Outside there are sand volleyball courts near the seating area, along with food trucks, and soccer fields on the far side.
Whoa this is a mnassive sports complex and entertainment venue with so much to do for the entire fanmily, fromn adults to kids of all ages. There are areas to play pickle ball, soccer, volleyball and even ice hockey. There's an arcade and adults-only bar indoors and several outdoor seating areas, both open and covered. The entire place is very well lit at nighttime. Toddlers and younger kids can enjoy at the playscape with slides. You can grab some food from one of the food trucks, drinks from the outdoor bar and have a great time hanging out. Some of the outdoor seats also have heaters or a firepit.
Recreational facility with family friendly atmosphere. They have a selection of 6 or 7 food trucks with some healthy options. There's an ice skating ring and field that I know of, a bar and a projector. I've only been a few times but I find something new everytime I come here.
Such a fun spot for family and friends to hang out! It’s already a great place, but adding a roller skating rink would make it even more amazing. This location would be perfect for it!
While visiting my B.F.F., I went to Church of WhiteStone at this location. Awesome service by Pastor Tauren Wells!!! One could literally spend the whole day with all the entertainment and sports activities to indulge in after church service. There's an ice rink, volleyball, pickleball, food trucks, little outdoor concert venue!!! I did not eat there, but there were nice varieties of food trucks and different foods available.
We have been here many times and it is always a good time. The staff are excellent. They are friendly and their service is great. This is a great place for music and games. It is family friendly too and the atmosphere is safe for all. We saw Dead Love Club recently and they were excellent. (Bring them back please. Along with Keepers of the Rock, another great local band). We love this place and have taken multiple friends from out of town here for good music, drinks and fun
The food trucks (contracted) they have aren't my favorite. That's not saying that others may live it, but they are pricey, slow, and food is average for me. The bar at the Crossover is great. They have a field for kids to play. Ice skating rink. I've been to a concert and midget wrestling. Very family friendly, and good entertainment establishment.
Ok. I love where these beautiful people were going with this. Aside from all the diving in the air and all the mud flinging from dirt bike tires... Having just about everything a family could want, to have a safe, active, pg13 (tops) fun time together! The place is very nice...convention center/upgraded YMCA thing goin on...but that plays no part in my 4 for atomosphere. I wanted to put a 5, but the overall vibe of the crowd isn't really in sync, so to some like me, it may feel a tad awkward. Scenario: kids playing soccer in the daylight with great live music, beer in hand...go to the bar for some waters for the kids and get hit on 2x while in line. The gentlemen being there without a family or kids, so his visit was polar opposite. Point being, the Fieldhouse is a breath of fresh air, much needed family fun space when we are all so stuck in our own little worlds. My word of advice? Stay with your vibe..there for music, stay by the stage. Cornhole? Stay at the .....you catch my drift. Cheers!
The crossover is a great place for a family visit for an ordinary Friday night. They have a variety of sports available for the kids. There were ice rings for leisure and hockey, volleyball courts, beach volleyball, football field, arcade, possibly many more not listed. It is a great place for kids that have a lot of energy to burn. Of course the parents could be a part of it. Something worth mentioning here is that(not trying to be sarcastic, but thought it was a genius business model) the crossover got drinks and music at the back for some parents to get "lazy" or better say to enjoy Friday night. I have to say that the crossover services improve the quality of life of Austinite. The crossover is a place I would visit often.
I am truly grateful to be a part of the Church of Whitestone. The sense of community here is exceptional, and the warmth and kindness of the congregation make it feel like a second home. The sermons are inspiring and thought-provoking, and I always leave feeling uplifted and motivated in my faith journey. The church offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages, fostering both spiritual growth and meaningful connections. The leadership is dedicated and passionate, always encouraging us to deepen our understanding of God’s word. Whether you’re looking for a place to worship, grow in your faith, or connect with others, the Church of Whitestone is a wonderful place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and loving church community!
This is a lively, outdoorsy place. It is spotless, modern and first class. They have a large stage for the musicians with a giant screen TV and lots of both covered and open picnic table seating for the sun worshippers. We usually visit the Crossover Sports Complex for our grandson's sports events. The fields are made of high quality artificial turf. We visited this time for a Latino Festival. Wow! The music and Spring weather were great! They have a good selection of food at the food trucks that are located permanently onsite. It isn't cheap, but it is good food. For the festival they had lots of extra pop up food vendors and food trucks to celebrate Latino food. They always have a full bar with an air conditioned inside and a walk up outside. The venue provides 360° parking. There is even some additional parking available on the weekends in the adjacent parking lots. Be careful not to use the church parking area. They need it for their services. There is usually plenty of parking at the very safe rear of the building. If you park in the back you have to walk the length of the building past the athletic fields to get to the food trucks and the bar, but it is all very safe and nice. Almost no walking in the dirt either. You can wear nice shoes.
so I remember when there wasn't anything in this area supposedly since I have a business office nearby to here so I was surprised when I was invited to come out with some friends tonight to discover this place there's what you need to know parking's going to be always the main challenge you park all around the building and it's just a matter of whether you find it or not or you going to have to park further out walk on over there's plenty of handicap accessible options but again parking is going to be 80% in a battle when you get here cuz this place can easily have over a thousand people apparently here tonight because they got sports for everything you can imagine for the kids they got volleyball pickleball soccer area even an indoor hockey stadium area they got all kinds of outdoor dining areas here they got live music and even birthday parties going on inside I got a bar they got a kitchen serving some Louisiana style food they got all kinds of drink options not alcoholic and alcoholic and all kinds of live basketball and sports playing on all the different flat screen TVs inside and outside throughout the place also got a whole lot of food trailers out here tonight oh arrangement with friendly sufficient professional staff making sure to keep the place in order and clean very impressed got to meet the owner very humble individual he's put together something truly outstanding here I would also say keep in mind as well different live band performances here they have one of my personal favorite that does some of journey songs and some heavy metal songs Suede here tonight and it was like it was just meant for this band tonight also indoor restrooms that works clean and spotless with plenty of urinals I'm sorely impressed highly recommend this place for the whole family and will keep this on my list of places to keep an eye on don't hang out on the weekend :)
GREAT staff! Great drinks! Love the vibe with pickle ball courts, sand volleyball, soccer field, movies, food trucks - fire pits and great team that provide great service and love our fur fam! Thanks yo Matt for being an amazing bartender and coming out to give Charlotte some water! Love Fieldhouse! Thank you for being a great place to hangout and a community partner!
What a fun place! Both adults and kids can eat some great grub, enjoy a libation, and compete in some fun impromptu games. The sand volleyball courts were packed with what looked like league play, and the fields had activity as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, although it did take quite a while to get our food, and they don't bring it to your table. We will be back!
If you like sports this is the place to be. With a sand filled volleyball court to pickleball and even a complete hockey rink this place has a lot to offer. With their live band venue which incorporates a huge 8 foot by 15 foot High res LED screen, this place is poised to lead the way in family entertainment for the next decade. They also have a full bar for the adults.
You must try the wagyuo on wheels the food is awesome service great and truck kitchen is very clean and well organized fast service great food and great staff well be back
Pretty neat place and quite the concept. Family friendly, obviously, with the setup. I enjoyed the outside as I didn't really have a reason to go inside - there is a hockey rink, and since all my kids are adults, I didn't have any playing. That being said, the inside setup is clean, open, and very modern. The bar that takes up both parts of the interior and exterior is a nice setup, and the drinks we had, while simple, were tasty and well made. The exterior is where this place excels. There is, simply put, a little bit of everything. The important parts for me were plenty of seating and tables that almost all had a good view of the stage, where, the night we went they had "dueling pianos" In a way I've not ever seen- with a drummer and guitars as well. There is a soccer pitch, pickleball courts, and a large litter box... I mean sand volleyball court. There is also a small playground for the littles to play in (although it seemed most preferred to play in and around all the adults' legs, attempting to create a constant-motion obstacle course for the adults who didn't have kids there... and the parents of the obstacle course creators were, of course, nowhere to be found). There are several food trucks located in this area as well. I'm guessing these are what Google would like me to rank when food is listed, however, the trucks we tried each have their own review. I am unable to leave a food review for The Fieldhouse as the Interior (or on-site?) restaurant was closed. The service rating I left is for the bar staff who seemed to be pretty much on their game that night (yes, pun intended).
Went to see a good cover band show. What was terrible is that the organization should have paid them to show up early for set up and sound check. The event said it started at 6, but they didn't perform till 7:30. The company lost half it's sales because they alienated their football fans. Everyone watching the game got up and left at 6 when they shut off the game, put up the logo for the band and then conducted a horrible sound check for 75 minutes. I was so upset I almost didn't stay to enjoy the talent. Next time, bands need to be paid to set up and sound check b4 the game, wait till game ends and immediately take the stage to perform. The company would have made at least $10k more in sales if they had compensated the talent to be there early. Praying a manager sees this. What happened last night was amateur. There were FAR too many people there not to have paid the talent an extra $100 each for their early arrival.
Good atmosphere and good service from the bar staff. I think the food prices are a bit high, especially when some restaurants charge about the same and they have higher overheads. Not too impressed with the food either and will probably just stop by for drinks if I can get a table inside. Gets too hot outside to enjoy my drinks.
Disappointing Experience at Cricket Match Live Streaming at Field House I recently attended the India vs Australia cricket match live streaming at Field House at The Crossover, looking forward to an exciting game. While the match itself was enjoyable, the event’s arrangements were a letdown. Firstly, the seating arrangements were poorly organized. Some attendees, including aged, were asked to sit on the lawn may be they have told on the ticket , which personally I felt quite uncomfortable, especially during midnight weather . This lack of proper seating was a significant inconvenience. The food quality was another major disappointment. It was extremely poor, failing to meet the expectations set by the event. Given the excitement of a final match, the subpar food significantly detracted from the overall experience. The coordination and management of the event were also below par. Despite being asked to arrive 30 minutes early, many of us had to wait for an hour just to enter the streaming area. This lack of efficiency in handling the crowd was frustrating and could have been managed better. Additionally, the entrance fee of $35 felt steep, considering there was not even a welcome drink included. This, combined with the lackluster arrangements and poor food, made the fee seem unjustified. Overall, while I enjoyed the cricket match, the experience at Field House at The Crossover was disappointing. For future events, I hope to see significant improvements in the organization, food quality, and value for money. Cricket fans deserve a much better viewing experience, especially for such crucial matches.
