EAT HERE! Casino towns are notorious for terrible food. This joint is the best food I've had up here. It's honestly odd that it is tucked away upstairs at the casino. Not expensive. Just great.
What a Gem this is! Brought our family to this cute spot in Blackhawk for breakfast. The portions were huge and the prices inexpensive and the food was delicious! Our waiter was attentive and kind. Loved the old timey feel. I was worried there would be a long wait but we were seated quickly and in and out in about 40 minutes.
The food was delicious! In a mountain town with limited options, pretty much just casino buffets, this was a top tier meal. The fried chicken was so crispy and juicy, and the mashed potatoes were so smooth. 10/10 home style cooking.
We wondered in just to see what the old building looked like inside and stumbled on the restaurant upstairs. The food was fantastic, service was great, it was clean and quiet. I had the country fried steak and the french toast which I wouldnt hesitate to order again. Ill have to come back and try the lunch and dinner menu for sure.
The food was amazing!!!! The mimosas were perfect! The staff was friendly & attentive. It was real quiet, we were the only ones there… but I really enjoyed that. My husband wasn’t a fan of the mannequins but I thought it was a nice change of pace from the world today. (But I’m weird like that!) The casino was also very inviting! We’ll definitely be back.
This step back into time was glorious. Millie’s is old-school to say the least. Take a walk up to the spacious second floor and enjoy a delicious, well-priced meal. The breakfast burrito smothered in green chilis was perfect in every way. It’s a quiet place with what looks like a lot of locals, but we were taken care of by some veteran servers. A must in Central City!
Great price and a great time away from the constant casino vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delivered quickly!
Very cool place. All of the staff is so laid back, calm and friendly. I don’t understand how they stay in business with their prices. We paid 32 dollars for a fried chicken meal, a steak meal, a plate of French fries, a beer, and a Bloody Mary. Food was cooked well and Bloody Mary was really good. Very citrusy and light. Not a lot of bold seasonings. Nice for a Sunday morning.
This breakfast restaurant was very good second story of the casino the service was amazing and just all around a great experience
Amazing hidden gem in old historic Central City! Friendly and efficient staff, really fresh food! Most items are house made and I’ve never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Always check the specials and soups because they are delicious!
YUM!! I'M a foodie!! Excellent chicken masala~even better cause they let me do with mashers verses pasta. My hubby loved his chicken parmesan! Great service too!!! A must!!!❤👍❤
Oh my goodness this place is so cheap I swear I was gonna get poor quality food but I was SOOO wrong. That was one of the best steaks I have had and I still can't believe how cheap it was. When I come back to Colorado I will definitely be stopping in again.
We were worried as there was nobody in the restaurant when we got there for lunch. But service was excellent and food was fresh. We'll visit again.
Had the breakfast chicken fried steak meal and it was delicious. Service was also excellent. Coffee was a little underwhelming though (tasted burnt).
Had prime rib with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was great to be able to eat it for lunch and not just dinner. The food was great but I asked for medium rare and the meat was medium at best. Added fried shrimp for $3! Everyone was super friendly and checked on us often. The apple crisp was warm and delicious. We will definitely go again. Price was definitely reasonable.
Good food, friendly staff and reasonable price. My husband and I visited for lunch on a weekday, so there was plenty of room. He was not impressed by the patty melt, said it was “ok”. I had the prime rib French dip with onion rings and think it was absolutely delicious.
Empty restaurant on Sunday morning with average food. Eggs were better than pancakes, potatoes were tasty and coffee was a bit cold.
Food was surprisingly nice. Ordered the patty melt with fries which I really enjoyed. Staff was nice. But the vibes were kinda creepy. Lots of odd maneuqins. The decor definitely left much to be desired.
Interesting little place. I was trying to find somewhere to eat that wasn't part of a casino but I guess you can't get that in Central City. The food here was pretty tasty though. The place gave me eerie vibes though.
Located inside of the Central City Casino on the second floor. Millie's prepared a budget friendly meal called the Gamblers special for $5. Decent meal, decent service. Your temperature is taken at the door and mask are required.
