First time at this location. My family used to always go to the Carson one a very long time ago. Best bibingka in my area for sure. The dinuguan is excellent as well. Great customer service and clean. Lots of parking too.
Somebody brought us a tray of 6 bibingkas from this place and we loved it so much that we drove to this place for more! We also bought a tray of lumpiang shanghai to go. Service was fast and pleasant and the food oh-so-good. Freeway-close too, so easy to get to. Highly recommed.
Best bibinkang! Goto is our go to in our house hold. It's a little out of our way but we've had good experiences here. We've used them for catering for work events and people were high on it too. Usually it's well staffed and service is pretty speedy. It's a frequent stop for me and my family.
The place is too small, However the food is delicious. We always order the bibingka and pancit malabon for family gathering.
Space is too small, but food is really good. I had the grilled squid and I like. The squid is not tough and it taste good. I like the bibingka as well. Taste of home. Wish the place is bigger. It feels congested as they get a lot of customer. Halo-halo for me is pretty.basic though.
I just love how authentic everything is with Manila Sunset! From the food, the music and just the ambiance makes me feel like I am back in Manila. So, whenever I feel homesick, there's only 1 place I go - MANILA SUNSET!
I love the food here! The service is always quick and the staff are all friendly. Manila Sunset has the best bibingka and pancit malabon. Would highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.
my family always goes here whenever we want staple filipino meals! it can get crowded during lunch/dinner hours and there's limited seating but we haven't had troubles with this in all the times we've eaten here. their bibingka is a must try!
Justine at the check stand is lovely & great service with a smile. She said it’ll be ready in about 5 minutes (bibingka galapong). It tastes like home yum!
I'm absolutely obsessed with Manila Sunset in Cerritos! The Bibingka is hands-down the BEST in town - fluffy, flavorful, and utterly addictive! And don't even get me started on their Goto & crispy Tokwa’t Baboy - hits the spot every time! Service is always friendly and attentive. Ambiance is cozy and inviting. Can't recommend Manila Sunset enough!
Always happy to dine here and feast on their sisig. Actually, everything I ordered tastes like home in the Philippines. Authentic dishes. It never fails to satisy my tummy.
I’ve been coming here for a decade now. Pancit malabon, Bibingka ang crispy pork sisig, dinuguam, Pork BBQ, give it a try. The best’s of the best Filipino food 🥰
Been on the look for Filipino restaurants in the states that would actually hit like home, and this one did! Probably the best one we've had in a while. The pork sisig was top tier, even the bibingka! 🤍 this will definitely be our go-to from now. Went here two days in a row 😂 SO SARAP TALAGA!!
Manila Sunset in Cerritos is hands down the best location. I’ve been to other branches, but this one truly stands out. From the authentic flavors to the friendly service, every visit feels like a taste of home. The pork BBQ skewers are grilled to perfection, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Their pancit palabok is rich, savory, and topped generously with all the fixings. And the bibingka? Absolutely incredible. It’s perfectly soft, warm, and fluffy with just the right hint of sweetness and creaminess. Each bite melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more. It is honestly the best bibingka I have ever had, comforting, authentic, and unforgettable. What really makes this location shine is the attention to detail and consistency. The food always tastes freshly prepared, portions are generous, and the staff is super welcoming and attentive. Compared to other locations, Cerritos goes above and beyond in both quality and service. It is no wonder this has become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Filipino comfort food
Delicious food every time my wife and I dine here. Especially my wife goes crazy over there yummy dessert Bibingka! Thank you Manila Sunset!
No frills Filipino restaurant. Place is small so expect a wait during peak time. No restroom. Better for takeout than dine in. Pansit Malabon - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sisig - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grilled Bangus - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was our first time here. Will come again to try other dishes.
I’ve tried this bibingka from a friend’s gathering and it was really good… so since we’re here in Cali we made sure to drop by to get it
I usually come here for Filipino Breakfast. The longganisa and eggs is my favorite. If not breakfast, I love getting the grilled bangus. Everything is made fresh to order and delicious. The service is friendly and efficient.
Small place but big in satisfying your Filipino taste with foods they offer!
Always love coming at Manila Sunset since it’s walking distance from where I lived. The food always taste amazing and flavored, the stuffed are so nice and it feels like home when u sat down and enyoying the meal. Thanks for Manila Sunset for the delicious food❤️😍
The facility is clean and available parking spaces is a plus. The food was well proportioned and great tasting. In the addition, the team members were accomodating. We will definitely be back on this location.
Great little Filipino Food spot!! Great delicious filipino food! I love their Bibinka , Dinuguan and their Pancit Malabon!! During the summer I always order their Maiz Con Hielo. Staff here is friendly and attentive. I’m glad we have this place in Cerritos. My little go to when I’m craving Filipino food!!
I have been buying here since 2014 they always delivery fresh cook. food especially the crispy fried daing the bangus - the best
Always a favorite place to dine in. Expect me here once a week or more for their sisig. My mom and hubby loves the bibingka. Never fails to delight my palate.

Love coming here when I'm in the mood for Filipino food. The best part is they are a franchise so they have multiple locations!

I so loved their "palabok" eventhou it's kinda pale in color but taste the way it's expected! The same thing w/ their famous "bibingka or rice cake" that taste like I'm eating it during Christmas season in the Phils!! I was disappointed w/ the outcome of the "puto bumbong" w/c was aside fr being too small, it was "hard" & got a lil soft when warm up in the microwave, but still turned out hard.... Not a fan of it!
Great food that I tried last year and treated my family to this year. I’m not from the area so it was good to find the place. The workers were over middle aged women, 5 of them, but don’t expect to make friends. I actually tried to call in an order but she had the speakerphone on and her accent was way too thick to understand. I drove 20 minutes to get there, placed my order and waited about 35 minutes. I got pork and chicken bbq skewers that came with rice, 2 oz dipping vinegar and a small chicken broth for about $13. The place is way too small to fit a medium party of 5. Lots of people lined up right after I got there around 1 pm so we got there at the right time. Not a lot of menu variety at all but the Filipinos were eating different things from what I got and seemed pretty happy. Not sure if I’ll return soon but I might take my Filipina friends with me to crack a smile outta these gals 🙂
make sure you visit this spot if you like Filipino food. I ordered the Pancit Malabon which has savory rice noodles loaded with shrimp, egg, chicharron and veggies, also tried their Bibingkang Galapong for dessert a perfect way to finish the meal. The staff were welcoming and worked quickly, even though the place gets pretty busy during lunchtime. The dining room has a cozy, no-frills vibe, parking in the plaza is easy and accessible

The bibingka is really great! It is something that you want to go back for more. This is what I like about this place. What I don't like is the place is too small for diners. Too many people with less tables and chairs. The food is a little more expensive than the other Filipino restaurants I have been to so far. There were 2 customers who ordered food and arrived to pick up on time but they would not give the orders until they fall in line. It doesn't make sense for me. They could just have given the orders and not let them fall in line. They could have put a dedicated cashier for pick ups ( in my opinion).
Accurate on calls for orders & pick up time. Palabok is their best food for me & my family loves it too! Crispy pata is ok & hopefully they can improve the taste of their diniguan! Dinuguan we only had a spoon full to taste & gotta have to re-cook & re-flavor! It wasn’t good.
Love the bibingka and fresh lumpia; this has always been our go-to spot for lunch. Unfortunately, lately it’s been harder to enjoy as the lunch rush has become more disorganized. It gets crowded, hot, and there’s no longer space to comfortably wait for orders. Such a shame, because the food itself is good.
I love their bibingka. It's absolutely delicious. Remember to ask for grated coconut to sprinkle on top to step it up a notch.
Actually did not eat there yet. Went there but my group met me elsewhere. I thought the place [eating area] was pretty small. And the foods, although look very good & appetizing online, are made-to-order. There are other Filipino restaurants that are ready to order on sight which I prefer most of the time.

I love the food and service at Manila Sunset but it changed today. I bought a “Take out” last November but they forgot to include one item in the bag (Crispy Tokwat Baboy). I came back today to claim it or hoping to get refunded but they rejected my claim. I understand that it’s been two months ago but since there was no time limit stated in the receipt in this case, I was very disappointed. They did not complete the orders I paid for through their fault in the first place.
Twice i ordered PORK BBQ AND 2 TIMES I GOT HOME AND THEY GAVE ME CHICKEN BBQ 🤯 HOW HARD IS THIS?
We ordered puto bumbong and were disappointed with the quality. The size was unusually small, approximately the length of a pinky finger, and the texture was hard—different from the traditional soft and chewy consistency we expected. Unfortunately, we did not take a photo, as we were focused on trying to enjoy it despite our disappointment.
We ordered a putobumbong it’s way to small and only 3pcs, lumpia Shanghai is too thin it’s like nothing inside., pork bbq is too thin I think they are cutting budget. They are lessen the quality of food. The crispy tokwa’t baboy is not so crispy and mostly all taba/ fat of the pork. Their pricing is way too high for such a bad quality of food. Before it’s good to eat here but now they lessen the quality of the food I don’t like to go here anymore. I will give them 1 out of 5 for the quality of food, the taste I will give them 3 out of 5, for pricing I give them 1 out of 5 because it’s too expensive, for service 3 out of 5, atmosphere 2 out of 5. I spent $200 plus for food that I am not happy of the quality. Never again!
I would have given this place a 5 star because their food taste great. However, the waiting time is LOOONG! Service is way too slow and sometimes their staff are rude when you follow up. You'd be lucky to get some smile and friendly interactions. Given they have lots of clients, I don't see that they're happy to serve you or that they're thankful because business is busy and good. They don't use modern notifications for your food order. You need to come here with lots of time for buffer and lots of patience. The dining space inside is way too close to each other. Your best option is to grab a takeout and eat it else where. This place is better as a takeout place only and not a dine-in. As the name goes, Manila Sunset... if you place your order at sunrise or mid-day, you'll get your delicious meal at Sunset.
